    Super!

This is the brush I reach for every single day. I use it for blush and cream bronzer. So incredibly easy to blend the products with.

    Compact?

I'm looking for a compact brush that picks up a good amount of product since my bronzer is not very pigmented. Is this compact or more "soft"?

    Stay away

Bought brushes from Make Up Store as part of a “customized” recommendation from a skincare specialist at Lyko, after clearly stating that I have sensitive and acne-prone skin. I was told these were the best brushes they had – but in hindsight, it turns out I was consistently steered towards products from brands Lyko itself owns, including both Make Up Store and Rebecca Stella. There was never a real assessment of alternatives. The whole setup therefore feels more like a sales pitch than professional guidance. The brushes themselves are completely average and in no way live up to how they were presented. But the biggest problem isn’t even the quality – it’s the trust. I went in for help and came out with a full routine I reacted strongly to, based on recommendations that in hindsight seem anything but objective. These are not the “best products” – this is being sold what the store itself profits from. Stay away.

What did you expect when you choose to go to a free consultation in a store? Of course, they will recommend products from the store's range. No profit-driven company offers services purely for goodwill but to make a profit; that is the nature of the concept, i.e., profit-driven companies. Since you do not pay for the consultation itself, the company's profit margin lies in the sale of products recommended during the consultation. If you want an independent consultation from a skincare therapist who is not tied to specific brands, you will also have to pay accordingly. There are countless clinics with skilled skin therapists across the country. However, it is my personal experience that even independent skincare therapists, whose expertise you pay for, often tend to have a preference for specific brands rather than specific ingredients, treatment methods, etc. Whether this is due to financial gain (collaborations with the companies in question), the therapist's personal preferences and experiences with the respective brands, or because the majority of clients simply want to be recommended specific brands and products – I leave that open. Overall, it is a good starting point to take all types of product recommendations with a grain of salt and ask yourself what interest the person in question has in recommending the products!? If you really want independent recommendations for significant skin problems, I would turn to healthcare, where you can get a referral to a skin therapist whose recommendations are governed by laws and regulations to prevent recommendations for profit-driven purposes. Good luck💞

    Good but not durable

I think the brush itself works well and is nice. However, it is not very durable. After a few months (4 to be exact), the plastic has started to crack. It doesn't affect the function but it's a bit of a shame because I liked the brush :( #lykoreview #lykomission

    So so good!!!

Oh, how positively surprised I was by this brush. It was absolutely perfect for bronzer and blush. So soft yet still dense. The shape and size were just perfect for my face. I will buy more. #lykoreview

Really high quality, holds its shape well and doesn't shed bristles during washing. 😊 I use this to blend cream contour and bronzer. #lykoreview
