Nourishing and Moisturizing Lips
In collaboration with @smartson, I had the chance to test Maybelline New York Lifter Glaze Lip Balm in the shade 01 Clear Crav.😍 What does this promise? ✨️Sheer color that can be built up for intensity ✨️Nourishing and moisturizing ✨️Glazed finish ✨️Get a glow when you wake up ✨️The formula melts onto the lips upon application 💗 Review; I really liked this lip balm. The lips become so soft after application and feel so moisturizing. It melts into the lips so quickly and then just feels soft. It smells so good, but not too strong, which I like. Smells like some kind of vanilla flavor, almost so good that you want to taste it 🙈😍The product itself feels very luxurious but at an incredibly good price. Costs 139 kr, which I think is a good price for such a good product. Will be sitting on the shelf until everything else is gone
"Nice casing" I think. "Way too bulky to have in my pocket or bag" says the teenager. But the name is more than just cool - it also promises "Glaze", so we are still excited to try it. Both my daughter and I are a bit obsessed with lip products - me: long-lasting color or skincare balm, her: neutral tones and moisturizing shine. Here we get... almost none of that...? Lifter Glaze Lip Balm 01 Clear Crave gives a short-lived moisturizing feel with an unexpectedly discreet shine considering the name. I find the stick very soft, which is pleasant but suggests that the product will not be very long-lasting. The inci shows some nice oils, but to work as a lip care product, I would have liked to see peptides or similar, and a thicker consistency. Since we are testing the uncolored variant, it also can't be used as makeup: "Maybe it works over a lip liner" my daughter wonders, but doesn't seem too eager to try. We conclude that for an otherwise fun makeup brand and a promising name, it feels very much like ... lip balm. That isn't convenient to carry around. (But on the shelf, it looks nice alongside the other Maybelline products!) Very nice lipstick
I bought this lipstick inspired by comparisons to the shade Black Honey from Clinique Almost Lipstick. I tried the original lipstick and I must admit that this one from Maybelline is a great, much cheaper alternative (although the shade Açaí Glaze is more cherry-colored). First of all, it moisturizes! It has a pleasant scent and convenient packaging. Due to its light consistency, it spreads easily on the lips. It doesn't stick. You can build up a stronger coverage. The longevity is typical for glosses - it wears off when eating and drinking, but evenly, without streaks. It is also very economical - you only need a small amount to cover the lips. I haven't noticed any drying or irritation, on the contrary - after longer use, the lips seem smoother. The price in relation to the quality is fair in my opinion. Disappointing
I am a Maybelline fan; love most of their products and use them daily. I especially think the lip products are really good (Lifter gloss and lipliner are especially good!) so when this came out, I obviously had to test it. Moisturizing lip balm with shine is practical and pretty! This was not it 😅 It is sticky and hard to apply, and you have to keep applying and gliding over your lips several times to kind of soften the balm. It doesn't give much moisture or shine either, so it was a disappointing use of money. Maybe it has to do with the color I chose (peach) or that there was something wrong with mine? Maybelline New York Lifter Glaze Oil Balm
The Maybelline Lifter Glaze Oil Balm really surprised me! I tested the colors 002 - Pink Drip and 005 - Peach Quench - both have a beautiful, reflective shine and feel very nourishing on the lips. The sweet scent is simply heavenly, almost like vanilla or cotton candy. I think it's great that the product looks like a lipstick, but the finish is like a lip gloss - glossy, but completely non-sticky! Even after several hours, my lips feel soft and cared for. After the test, I immediately bought two more colors because I am completely convinced. Lip oil Balm
Pamper yourself beautifully The Maybelline New York Lifter Glaze Oil Balm (Whhoo long name) is a balm, so a care stick, at the same time a gloss, so a shine stick, as well as a color stick, so a lippie. But can it really do all that? Not quite for me. With 30% oils that are included, the care of the stick is actually noticeable. The lips are gently cared for without being sticky. I can't find the gloss on me. I find little shine on my lips. But that actually suits me. Real gloss is not for me. The color, hmm it is only very slightly noticeable on my two test shades. If you apply more, as many suggest, the care becomes too much for me and the application on the lips is no longer nice. It also feels too much and sticky on the lips. But that actually suits me. I just want a light support for my lip color and the shade No. 7 Berry Haze, which I tested, fits quite well for me. I will probably test others at the low price. The hyaluronic acid in the stick plumps the lips a bit. I can recommend the Lifter Glaze with reservations.
