Awesome sunscreen!
I have red hair and very fair Nordic skin, and SPF 50 is absolutely necessary for me. If I'm going to be at the beach or in the mountains, a physical filter is best for me. Otherwise, chemical filters are enough. This sunscreen has a lovely texture and a subtle scent. It smells much more discreet than most sunscreens. It is light and easy to spread, and works very well under makeup. I tested it in the afternoon under low August sun and unfortunately had a reaction. I turned bright red, so much that my husband was worried I had badly sunburned. But I was neither sunburned nor had an allergic reaction. Probably it was the alcohol, which appears early in the ingredients list, that increased blood flow in my skin. But I'm not sure. It doesn't take much for me, with such fair skin, to get red in the face. For everyone else, I would say this is one of the better sunscreens. It's hard for me to say for sure if the sunscreen really has SPF 50, but I believe it. I definitely didn't come close to burning. What does PA++++ mean? Does this one have any perfume that can irritate sensitive skin? Or plant extracts or essential oils?? And what about all the others, like the whole 4 different sunscreens in the new Loveables box with the above-mentioned ingredients? 😑 (really a shame to have so many of the same product type!! It is the highest level of UVA protection and indicates very strong protection. Regarding the ingredients, this formula does not contain traditional perfume, but it does contain lavender oil as well as fragrance components like linalool and geraniol. These are considered potentially allergenic and can irritate sensitive skin, even though it is not a classic “perfume” on the ingredient list. Centella asiatica is also included and is a soothing plant ingredient generally good for sensitive skin. In summary, it has very good sun protection, but it is not completely perfume-free and may therefore be less suitable if the skin is extra sensitive or easily reacts to fragrance ingredients. It burns when I use it on my face, so I stay away. Now I only use it on my neck and chest, and there it is really nice!893 views
