The best powder I've ever tried!😍
Without a doubt, the best powder I've ever tried, and I've tried quite a few! It gives a matte and blurring finish and stays matte for several hours without either primer or setting spray. 🖤✨ A powder for a truly matte and smooth base!
I have really fallen for NYX Professional Makeup Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Mattifying Powder! This is a really good powder when I want to get rid of shine and at the same time make the makeup look smoother and more blurred. 🥹✨ The first thing I like is the silky, finely milled feel. It sits nicely on the skin without feeling heavy or cakey, and I find it easy to build up where I need more mattness. What impresses me the most is how well it helps control oil and shine. NYX describes it as a mattifying powder that gives a smooth, ultra-matte finish and helps foundation last longer. I especially like to use it on the T-zone, around the nose, and under the eyes, where makeup usually starts to get shiny first. With a light hand, I get a much more polished base without having to apply a lot. And the nice thing is that it can be used both under and on top of makeup. That makes it quite versatile – I can use it to set foundation or bring it out during the day when I need to get back the matte finish. 🤍 The Lyko reviews are a bit mixed depending on the shade. For example, Bright Translucent has 5/5 from 20 ratings, while Light Medium is at 3.2/5 from 21 ratings. So the powder itself seems to be very appreciated, but shade and individual skin type can make quite a difference. I also find it especially interesting for normal, combination, and oily skin. If you have very dry skin, I would be a bit more cautious – such a matte powder can highlight dry patches if the skin is not properly moisturized first. 6 grams also feels quite okay for a powder that doesn’t require much per use. And with a price around 160–170 SEK, it feels like a fairly affordable option. Not so great
I was so disappointed after all the good reviews because the price is so good. The powder was much looser than I thought and was not really easy to work with. The skin tone in the powder distributed in different colors and couldn’t really blend out in some areas. The powder LOVES pores and settles there immediately. It didn’t keep me matte during the day and had a lot of creasing. Tried different amounts of powder, other primers, and different setting sprays but it never got good.
