I always have problems with my makeup breaking up and getting cakey, but this setting spray is probably the craziest thing I've ever tried. It looks EXACTLY the same the WHOLE day. Not patchy or cakey anywhere and I don't get any creasing either, which I always do. Urban Decay and everything else can throw themselves at the wall😍😍😍

What is this?
Naaah, not my thing. I had expected great support after various good reviews on different sites, so I thought I’d give it a try. Not only did I get a shower, but it was very wet for a while after spraying, so I had to help out by drying a bit. I’ve tested it as a base after primer and of course after makeup. The makeup stays - yes, but there’s something in the spray that makes it feel heavy (?) on the face. The pictures don’t do the moisture justice, it was SOAKED after one spray. I like a lot of other things from NYX, but unfortunately, this one doesn’t make the cut.

  Hey Claudia Amanda 🌞 Thank you for your honest review! The Face Glue is really made for super strong hold, but it can get a bit wet if you use too much. To get a lighter feel, it can be good to shake the bottle well and spray from a distance, so you get an even mist. If you want something that feels lighter and dries more matte, the Matte Finish spray might be a better alternative 🥰 All the best!

Makeup is set
In collaboration with Smartson, I received this product, and together with their glue primer, this combination is wow. I am so satisfied with both products and can really recommend them. Unfortunately, I've only had the chance to test this with Nyx's new primer and foundation once. The combination of these did not suit my skin type at all as my skin became super matte and dry (I'm already dry from the base). I felt that it didn't blend the makeup together at all. BUT I think it was more because of Nyx's foundation. I will test again with my other more glowy/dewy foundations and keep my fingers crossed that it works. Pretty okay setting spray
The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free. Pretty okay spray that does what it’s supposed to regarding "setting". The makeup stayed on like a charm all evening and looked nice. Upon application, I think it could have been a better mist so it distributed better on the face. After it dried, the face really felt a bit like "glue" but that went away after a while. Pretty okay spray.

The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot got to try the product for free. I had high expectations for this. Shook it well, closed my eyes, and sprayed. But nah, hello?! Uneven spray, big wet drops landing on my face. I have to sit and wave my hands for it to dry and not risk my foundation running. I wished for a finer mist, a slightly more upscale spray. When it finally dried, I felt like it was tightening a bit on my face. However, the makeup stayed put despite sweating at the movies.

The Face Glue Setting Spray is pretty okay! I think it has good properties. It's important to shake it well before you spray it on. I've tested this as a setting spray, but it also says you can try it as a primer spray, and I haven't had the chance to test that yet, but I'm looking forward to it because if it's good, you get like two products in one. I still think the setting spray held up well all evening. I've had issues with makeup fading after a while, but not with this one. I don't know if it holds for 24 hours as promised because it's rare that I have my makeup on for that long. It doesn't crumble on my skin just as promised. I really like that it's waterproof and water-resistant, but I don't know the difference between the two; they feel like the same thing? Maybe they mean sweat-resistant, which feels nice. I agree that it's a smooth application with the spray. I also agree that it feels light on the skin. It's actually not sticky, and it's not oily either. The makeup stays in place as promised. What brings down the ratings is the marketing that it feels like it's glued on and like a glue. It doesn't feel fresh at all thinking about gluing something on the skin. Are there better setting sprays from nyx
The setting spray works, but I don't think it's as good as nyx's other products. It leaves a white film that settles at the bottom and is hard to mix in when you shake the bottle. The spray isn't that nice and leaves wet drops all over the face.

Please try shaking the bottle well and spraying from a little further away for a more even application. NYX FACE GLUE SETTINGSPRAY
I tried the NYX face glue setting spray with complementary products: make em Wonder foundation 08 vanilla, jelly job shinegloss 05 honey, lip lingerine cool Brown, and nyx the face glue primer. (And mascara.) The face glue settingspray was incredibly good. The makeup lasted all day without me needing to touch it up, except for the lipgloss. I can strongly recommend the settingspray. The foundation covered well and gave a nice result. I like the pencil and the lipgloss, but I will buy another shade since this one was a bit too dark for me. Highly recommend these products!

Strong hold but lacking spray function
NYX The Face Glue Setting Spray provides a clear hold effect and lives up to its name when it comes to setting makeup. The base stays in place, and you really get a “glue” feeling, which can be positive if you want maximum stiffness. Unfortunately, the overall impression is brought down by the spray nozzle. The product does not distribute like a fine, even mist but comes out in larger drops, which I demonstrate in my video by spraying on white paper. On the skin, it feels somewhat heavy even after it has dried. It works, but the application and feeling make it not quite reach the top.
