    Hair Favorite

    Redken Acidic Color Gloss Conditioner is a true hair favorite! It provides both shine and intense moisture, making the hair feel soft and look super fresh. I love how it preserves the color and gives that salon-quality shine. When used together with the shampoo, the results are even better. Plus, the low pH level and vitamin E make the hair extra soft and shiny.     Not for all hair types

    Unfortunately, this did not live up to my expectations. I am generally a fan of Redken's products and think they mostly have very good products that work for most hair types. But this one was unfortunately wrong for my fine Nordic hair. The product gives a lot of shine and makes it easy to comb after use. But the shine was too much for me and made my hair look and feel greasy. Additionally, it is very perfumed; the scent of the product is nice. But a bit intense. I would probably recommend the product to someone with coarser hair type than thin, fine Nordic hair for optimal results of the conditioner along with the shampoo. The product was used as a test pilot for Smartson.

    After first-time use, my review of this conditioner is that it has the effect it says it should have, it leaves the hair soft and nice. I find that I have to use more of this than I usually do when it comes to conditioner. I would also like it to leave a better scent. I tested the product for free as a product tester for Smartson.

    Shiny

    Smells good. Becomes very shiny and soft, but not ideal for slightly frizzy hair. I am participating as a test pilot via Smartson and have received free sample products.

    Shine and Softness

    I tested this in collaboration with Smartson as a test pilot; The balm provides a lot of moisture, shine, and soft, light hair. It makes my hair color look healthier and shinier. At the same time, it has the same scent as the shampoo in the same line, which I personally think smells a bit too strong and more masculine than feminine (even though it can be used by both), so I think the scent came off a bit too masculine. But the effect it has on the hair is undeniable :)

    Beautiful shine!

    I have tested the Acidic Color Gloss Conditioner from Redken through Smartson, and I am very satisfied so far. I have Nordic, long, and color-treated hair. My hair becomes very soft and has a lot of shine. I also don't experience my fine hair getting weighed down, which is often a problem. So all in all, very satisfied, it does exactly what it says it will do.

    Balm Favorite!

    This is the new favorite! I have long and thick hair. After a round of shampooing, it has been lovely to add extra moisture and shine to my hair. Lovely scent! I received the product for free as a tester from Smartson.

    Smartson Free Product

    Redken hair products: I tried Redken's hair products in hopes of finding a reliable line that could give my hair a healthy shine. Unfortunately, the products didn't quite live up to my expectations. The hair products felt greasy in my hair and didn't provide the light and fresh feeling I'm looking for. Additionally, the perfume scent was quite strong and had a masculine tone that became a bit overwhelming after application. This is a line that might work for those who want a more heavily perfumed and "salon-like" feel, but for me, it was too much in both scent and texture.

    Fantastic series!

    I have been using Redken products for over 20 years now, and like with other Redken products, this series does not disappoint! I have uncolored, dark brown, and very thick hair, and this series was perfect for me. I have tried several gloss conditioners from other brands, and this is the best I have tested so far.
