Total must-have in the bathroom for every lover of gentle, yet effective skincare! 💦💖

CeraVe Cleansing Gel for Normal and Oily Skin is my number one when it comes to daily cleansing🫧 It’s gentle, yet very effective – since I started using it, my skin looks so much better! 💚✨ Why do I love it?💭 1️⃣ Cleans effectively without drying out – It handles excess sebum, impurities, and makeup residue perfectly, but doesn’t leave a tight feeling! 2️⃣ Lathers like a dream – The light foam perfectly envelops the skin and is easy to rinse off. The face feels clean, fresh, and pleasantly matte after use 🌬 3️⃣ Ceramides and niacinamide – a golden duo – Ceramides care for the protective barrier, while niacinamide soothes, regulates sebum, and supports the fight against imperfections 🙌 🤍 How does it work on the skin? The skin is cleansed but not dried out. Matte, but not rough. Pores are less visible, the T-zone is less oily throughout the day, and what about blackheads? I see improvement! ✨ Additional benefits: • Fragrance-free = perfect for sensitive skin 🙌 • Does not clog pores (zero comedogenicity!) • Effective – just a little is enough, and it works! • Does not irritate and does not sting the eyes • No fragrance and no unnecessary additives – pure skincare! • Available almost everywhere – pharmacy, drugstore • Great price for such a good formula! 👉🏼 In summary: This gel is my bathroom favorite, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone with oily, combination, or normal skin looking for a gentle yet effective cleansing gel ☺️🫶🏼 #cerave #skincareessential #lykoreview #oilyskin #lykomidsommar

Works well for my skin type

I used this before and liked it. I have combination skin (oily forehead, cheeks, and nose, but dry under the eyes). It cleanses well, also removes makeup, and my skin feels soft and hydrated. Unfortunately, I was foolish and bought Cetaphil Hydrating Cleanser to try, because I am now over 50 and starting to get wrinkles under my eyes. I thought it might be good to have some extra moisture then. It was a very bad purchase for my skin type. I only feel oily in my face, not clean at all, and I get MORE wrinkles under my eyes because they kind of "stick" to the oily film that forms. No, now I'm going back to CeraVe Foaming Cleanser, which I know works well for me.

    Smell

Am I the only one who feels like their products smell like vomit? Or have I just gotten bad products? I've tried this one and another from CeraVe and think both smell disgusting and my skin smells disgusting afterwards too.

Hey there!💗 CeraVe is known for having very neutral, almost "clinical" scents since they do not add fragrance to their products. This means that sometimes you might find they smell a little different or not so pleasant, and that is completely normal 🙏 The products should absolutely not be bad or dangerous to use, as long as the expiration date has not passed. The scent you experience is more due to the fact that they are fragrance-free and therefore smell more of the active ingredients (like ceramides and fatty acids) If you find the scent too hard to get used to, maybe another brand with a mild fragrance-free but still more "skin-friendly" scent could suit you better ✨ Take care!💗

    Totally Okay

I don't feel it's as deep cleansing as other cleansers I've used. Lathers a little.

Not for me - dry and demanding skin

I reached for this gel with high expectations because the CeraVe brand is associated with gentle and effective skincare for me. Unfortunately - in this case, the product turned out to be a disappointment for me. After washing my face, my skin was noticeably dry and very tight. Instead of a feeling of comfort, I had the impression that my skin was demanding an immediate moisturizing cream. With regular use, this feeling only intensified, so I quickly stopped using this cleanser. Pros? Large capacity, convenient packaging, and a pleasant, light consistency that lathers well. However, the effect on my skin did not work at all. #lykoreview #lykocommunity

    Is it oil-based?

My lash girl recommended that I shouldn't use an oil-based face cleanser after getting lash extensions. Can I use this one from cerave then or is it oil-based?

Hey Cwisis! This is oil-free. Just keep in mind that oil-free only applies to the lashes and not the rest of the face - there you can use whatever you want/need as long as it doesn't get on the lashes 🙏 Wishing you a nice day 🌸

    The Favorite

I have combination skin and have been using this for 2 years. I notice a big difference when I try another one for a while. Cheap considering how long a bottle lasts, I wouldn't switch from this.
