Lovely for the night
๐ฑWhen I first saw the packaging of this chubby lip mask, I was initially a bit annoyed that the packaging was so clunky, the lip product came way outside the lips. But when I then realize that itโs โthe jar, but without having to stick your finger into the actual product,โ I think itโs completely genius! I love it! ๐คI generally never have dry or sensitive lips, except when itโs really cold or if I have a cold, but I still like the feeling of putting a thick layer of lip mask on before bed, as part of my evening routine. This mask I must admit is both cheaper and at least as good (if not better) than the one Iโm currently using. ๐This one stays on the lips for a long time and doesnโt give any sticky feeling at all. ๐The taste is of mild melon, which is pleasant, but I would probably have preferred it completely scent/taste-free if I could decide. โจIf Iโm being really picky, I think the glitter particles are excessive and I would have liked to skip them. But as I said, itโs really not a bigger problem. ๐คทWhether the lips have become more plump or if the wrinkles have become fewer, I canโt answer since Iโve only used the mask for a short time. ๐ตSince I only use lip mask at bedtime (or in acute situations), I think this is definitely worth the price since it will last a long time. ๐I would also give this a heads up as #julklappstips. Good, but not the best.
Product number 2 of 2 from Fenty to be reviewed is the lip mask. And I am a very diligent user of lip balm, so it was a perfect influencer assignment! Fenty's lip mask is unique. And both in terms of the packaging's appearance (which I have only previously had with a lip product from essence), and the formula/consistency. But I am not completely convinced. ๐ค Actually, the packaging is neither bad nor super good. It's just okay. It is, as mentioned, unique. A little fun. ๐ The formula is also, as mentioned, unique. The longevity of the lip mask on the lips is outstanding! I have certainly not had a lip product that has stayed on my lips for so long, and that I haven't needed to reapply for a very long time. So that's almost fantastic! ๐ So does the lip mask do wonders for the lips? Well, I really don't know. The formula is almost like a silicone. Just like the serum that I am also testing, the lip mask gives a stickiness. And I also don't know if the lips become smoother and firmer? Or if the lip mask provides nourishing moisture, as promised. In some way, it feels a bit unclear what I actually think about this. I am not completely sold. As it feels (so far), I probably wouldn't buy it again. A big plus is that it is vegan, as I would like to use vegan products in the first place. But I will use the lip mask until it runs out. And who knows? Love it but expensive
This lip mask from Fenty is divine. It's my third one, but the first with this scent. Smells like yummy cherries and gives a light pink tint to the lips. Keeps the lips moisturized for a long time, and you don't need much to achieve a good effect. Small and easy to take anywhere. I like the concept of being able to twist out the amount you want, but the downside is that it gets a bit messy. The price range is quite steep for what it is and that amount, but it's generally known for the brand. Lip Mask!
I got to test this lip mask! #lykoinflutester #fentybeauty #fentyskin My background: My lips tend to get dry and need a lot of moisture throughout the day. I think the packaging is super cute and has a good size. The lip mask smells super good, really sweet melon!๐๐ผ The applicator was a bit confusing at first, but once I figured out how to use it, I like the idea! It's easy to get just the right amount of product out, which isn't always a given. The product promises to smooth the lips, reduce fine lines, and hydrate. I can't see any difference in the appearance of my lips BUT it is very moisturizing after day/night use. ๐ I like the consistency, it's just the right thickness and sits nicely on the lips ๐ I use it in the morning after my routine and then after my evening routine. I find that my lips stay hydrated all day and night! ๐ it has just the right amount of shimmer, and pairs excellently with a light lip pencil I will definitely buy it when my current one runs out! I base my rating on the longevity, how often I need to reapply, and the color. As #lykoinflutester I received two products from #fentybeauty and one of them was this lip mask with a melon scent ๐ My lips look like this, they are dry and dull, so getting to try this has been super fun because the difference is visible right away ๐๐ผ๐ I have some thoughts about the product, but before that, I want to list a bit of what it promises the customer: ๐ It should provide intense care and give a lot of moisture ๐ It should smooth the lips ๐ Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in just one week ๐ Strengthen and improve elasticity in one week The lip mask should be used day and night, and it comes in a small twist jar (seen in the video). The lip mask has shimmer in it and really gives an instant glow to the lips, I also love the scent of melon. โจ The description of the lip mask says it should be pudding-like in consistency, and I can say that this is not the case. As soon as I twisted up the product, it looked like Vaseline with glitter in it. There is nothing wrong with that consistency at all, I often use Vaseline on my lips, but that takes away a star from the rating. The price for 9ml is high, and I want something that doesnโt look like something I can buy at Ica for 12:-. Sure, this is special in other ways: the scent, the jar, and the shimmer ๐๐ผ, but for 309:-? I will not buy this at full price (maybe on sale) because I love the result I see right away. But that fine lines would reduce in a week is hard for me to see. The same cute design is there anyway, as the serum, and I like that I donโt have to stick my fingers directly into a jar. It gets three strong stars from me, but the price and consistency bring the rating down.
