It could also be that if the serum is applied too close to the eye or in an excessive manner, it can get into the eye and cause irritation/inflammation. I understand that you have full control over this, and here it’s about thinking less is more 🤩 If the applicator or the product's contents have been contaminated with bacteria, this can cause an infection that leads to inflammation. I don’t know how long you’ve been using this. I think the product is really great and you see results quickly. In a short period, I've noticed that my lashes have gotten much longer! But my eyelids have swollen up, they sting and are a bit red. I noticed that my skin became thinner around my eyes and over time I looked extremely tired and got dark under my eyes. I assumed it was because I was sleeping poorly and didn't connect it at all to the eyelash serum until I read about it online, that it's a result of an ingredient in the product. It feels like my eyes aged 10 years in one year and I am very sad about this. Unfortunately, I am still blue and puffy under the eyes 3.5 months later. The lashes became fuller and longer, but it was absolutely not worth the side effects that made me look significantly older and more tired than before I started using xlash.
