Allergic?
Too bad. I would have liked this since you get so much for your money. With a minimum of 4 layers, did 5, and the skin feels cooled and moisturized. Doesn't work if only 1-2 layers. I use my hands to apply: 1-2 drops in my hands, rub together before lightly patting on the face until absorbed. However, the skin became red, dry, and tight, and had bumps, so I’m probably allergic. Googled and found out that Job's Tears is a grass species, and I'm allergic to grass pollen… have sensitive combination oily diabetic (type 2) skin.17 likes19180 views- 5 monthsOh so good! Uff yes, allergies are such a pain, and there’s so much to watch out for regarding cross-allergies, etc. My skin is generally not a fan of toners, but I wish I could use it. It’s usually toners that I struggle with since they often contain plant extracts/juices. I also can’t tolerate Cica/Centella Asiatica since it’s also a type of grass aka Tigergress. I would say this is perfect if you just want a simple and light toner. But if you're looking for a more hydrating bomb or something else that really does something, you shouldn't buy it. It also feels a bit wrong that it's called an essence (which is a hybrid between toner and serum) because it's sooooo watery. It doesn't worsen anything, but it doesn't do miracles either.
