  Natural and nice ”tan”

  I am a total rookie when it comes to self-tanner, and I mean that I have never tried it (as far as I can remember), in any form. And here came 3 variants in the same batch 😅 Very exciting, but I was also very worried and anxious that it would be patchy 🙈 I tested this mousse on my legs. I scrubbed my legs in the shower in the evening and then moisturized them with lotion afterward. Then I applied the mousse with my hands. I find that it was very easy to apply, and it absorbed into the skin incredibly quickly. It also smells really good! 😍 I then washed my legs with water and shower gel in the morning, and then it was done. It didn’t transfer onto either sheets or towels 🙏🏻 The color turned out even and nice, except on my feet where I need to practice a bit more 😂 I think the color turned out very natural.   I have now tested the self tan mousse a couple of times and would say that the product lives up to expectations. The first thing I noticed was the scent of the product. It is a lovely fruity scent that reminds me of summer. It is not the typical self-tanning scent that is usually found in such products. The pump on the product is also top-notch and dispenses a suitable amount of product. It is also easy to spread and absorbs quickly into the skin. After a few hours, you have a lovely and nice tan. 🤩 The only thing I really have to criticize about this product is that it doesn't have a «guide» color so you can see that you have distributed the product evenly. For me, being an amateur at self-tanning and also very pale to begin with, the transitions became extremely noticeable. 😅 This is of course very much about experience, but it would have helped a lot with usability if there was a bit of color in the product.   Affordable Self-Tanner

  I had the honor as. #influtester to test this self-tanner mousse from Lyko. I'm not a fan of self-tanners as I find it hard to get it even and the color often turns orange-like. I was very surprised when I pumped out the self-tanner and it was white. That was something I didn't like as it makes it hard to see where you've applied it and not, which made it take longer than with a colored mousse to apply. But I eventually managed to get it everywhere. The result was very nice, it didn't turn out overly colored but gave a sun-kissed feel to the body. I tested it on my legs and will definitely use it again. Very affordable self-tanner that smells good and gives a nice finish. Lasts about a week before you need to top up with new. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #BYLYKO

  I have always been a bit skeptical about mousse when it comes to self-tanning, simply because I have previously experienced both streaks and a somewhat intense smell. But this one surprised me! It is easy to apply on the skin and absorbs quickly. I applied it with my hands, and it went just fine – I only got a few streaks, and they were minimal. The color turned out even and glowing, and my skin didn’t feel dry afterward, as I have experienced with other mousses. The smell during application is actually quite nice – again, a mild and fruity scent – but after it dries, a bit of that classic self-tanner smell comes through. Not a big problem, but worth mentioning. 😅 All in all, a very good mousse that gives a glowing result and is easy to use 🙏🏻💗 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #BYLYKO #LYKOREVIEW

  As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to test the Tan-formation Self Tan Body Mousse from #BYLYKO. This was incredibly fun to test, as I felt it clearly stood out from all the other self-tanning products I have tried. The mousse was airy and easy to apply. I felt that it provided moisture to the skin and absorbed quickly. It gave a very nice sun-kissed color, and I really recommend waiting the 8 hours it should work. I laid down about 3 hours after application, and there was no bronzing on the white sheet. What was fun about this was that the mousse was white, and after application, it became «transparent». I have never tested that before! I applied it only with my hands and washed them afterwards, and it worked great. And we have to talk about the scent. It smells so fresh and tropical! You would actually not believe it was a self-tanner. The whole series has the same scent, and it is absolutely fantastic. Clean and nice design on the bottles. The products are budget-friendly, and you definitely get a lot for your money here. I actually think I have found a new favorite series now! The picture is only after one application, so the color can be built up here according to desire.

  Gives natural color!

  As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this self-tanner product in a light lovely foam consistency from #bylyko ☁️🤎☀️ I have sensitive and incredibly pale skin, and this is in the shade medium/dark, so in all honesty, I was worried about how the result would turn out. I used it with a glove specifically designed for application. The foam is wonderfully creamy and light, smells sweet and a bit candy-like ☺️ However, the characteristic self-tanner smell comes after a while. I prepared myself according to all the rules, did peeling, and moisturized the areas that usually get much darker, i.e., knees and feet. I found that the mousse was easy to distribute and felt lovely to apply. However, the result was a bit patchy in places... In some areas (thighs) it set evenly and nicely, but on the shins, it almost always turned out a bit uneven... The color is good, but a bit too dark for me. Even though the color looks reasonably natural for a self-tanner, for someone as light as me, it’s completely obvious that it’s self-tanner 😅 and it becomes too dark of a shade. I recommend it to someone with a darker skin tone, or maybe closer to summer when there’s a chance to be a bit tanned overall.

  A wonderfully scented self tan mousse

  I have had the honor of testing this self tan mousse for two weeks. In my opinion, this mousse does what it promises, and there is nothing negative to say about it. As you can see in the video, the mousse is white and does not give any color immediately upon application. Remember to moisturize dry areas on your body and be extra careful when applying the mousse to your hands🦋 In short: ☀️ Nice color that doesn't lean too much towards orange ☀️ Easy to apply ☀️ AMAZING scent!   I have no experience with self tan mousse before, so I have nothing to compare with. I was surprised that the mousse was "white" and that you couldn't see the color right away while applying. I was also surprised that it smelled really good. It didn't smell like self-tanner. That smell came a few days later, but it wasn't bad. I only tried it on my legs. Easy to apply, and didn't feel sticky for a long time after. The color built up and started to show a bit after 4-5 hours. I showered after 8 hours and the color held up well for a long time. I have little to no base color underneath, so on me, I felt it gave a nice glow, but maybe a little "orange". I will definitely try again in the summer when I have gotten a bit more color on my body. To maintain the color, you should apply at least once a week. Nice design, fresh scent, easy to use, and an otherwise good product at a nice price. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #BYLYKO

  Very good self-tanner!

  I have tested many self-tanners over the years, and I must really say I am pleasantly surprised by this one from By Lyko! The mousse is super light and easy to work with. It is white, so it doesn't stain anywhere! Fantastic 🤩 The fact that it is white makes it a bit tricky to know where you've applied it, so you have to be mindful of that along the way. I used a regular self-tanning mitt for the application (which is a bit worn, as you can see in the picture). In one picture, I am completely without self-tanner, and in the other, it's after sleeping with the self-tanner for a night. The scent is also absolutely lovely - tropical! 🌴🍋🍋‍🟩 When you first apply it, you only smell this scent and no self-tanner smell. When the color starts to develop, it does start to smell like classic self-tanner, but that goes away after you shower off the excess color. The color gives a deep, warm, and glowing look that I love! 🌞 I really liked this, coming from being a loyal fan of Bondi Sands and Glöd. I also want to highlight the fantastic price - what a steal!   By Lyko’s Tan-formation Self Tan Body Mousse is a budget-friendly self-tanning product with several nice qualities – but also a few things to keep in mind depending on when and how you use it. On the positive side, the mousse smells good, which is a big plus compared to many other self-tanning products. It comes in a handy pump bottle that makes it easy to dose and apply. The color that develops is brown and natural in tone, without pulling towards the orange side – something many appreciate. It sinks in very quickly without feeling the slightest bit sticky and doesn’t stain sheets or clothes either. The price is also very affordable for what you get. However, there are some downsides. The mousse lacks a guide color, which means it’s hard to see where you’ve applied – something that can lead to misses or streaks. Additionally, even though the color itself is nice, the result can be quite intense. It can feel a bit too much, especially during the winter months when the skin is at its palest – it easily gives a somewhat unnatural impression if you, like me, are almost transparent this time of year. An affordable and pleasantly scented self-tanning mousse with a nice color – but best suited for you if you already have a bit of color or use it with a gentle hand. The lack of a guide color requires careful application, but for the price, it’s still a perfectly okay option. #bylyko #lykoinflutester

  Budget find!

  As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try the #bylyko self-tanning mousse, and here’s what I think. I also applied this product with a velvet BUS glove. First and foremost, I don’t like that the mousse is colorless, as it makes it hard to see where I’ve applied it. I have to be extra careful and tend to apply more layers to be sure, it feels like I’m wasting some product. You also really need to moisturize hands/arms/feet and knees properly beforehand, otherwise the color gets very dark where it absorbs more. One advantage of it being colorless is that it doesn’t stain sheets, which is great. But without color, it’s easy to miss certain spots during application, so you have to be careful. The scent is tropical and quite pleasant, not the classic BUS scent that many other products have. The mousse doesn’t feel wet or sticky long after application, which I appreciate. I have a very neutral skin tone, so I was pleasantly surprised that the color was neutral instead of warm, as I experience with Bondi Sands BUS for example. It turned out a nice, natural shade. I slept with this on, and it actually gives quite a dark color, so it works well if you want a more intense tan. I think it looked nice on me, as I am light-skinned, but maybe a bit too much for someone who is more “fair.” The longevity was good – the color stayed nice for at least three days and faded evenly. However, my skin became quite dry after a few days, which I didn’t really like. I naturally have a slightly oilier skin. In summary, I think St. Tropez mousse is still superior, but I would absolutely consider buying Lyko’s mousse again as a backup option. It’s very affordable and gives a nice color for a good price. But be careful with moisturizing! Picture of me the day after application. In reality, the color looks cooler. On my face, I use the tanning drops from the same series. You can see on my hands that the color has absorbed quite a bit. It looked nicer and not as intense when I used a slightly richer cream underneath!
