Yellow Hair
Hey, I'm wondering which of these is best for getting rid of yellow hair? I just bleached all my hair and it's very yellow on top of my head๐1 product in post Yellow Hair87 views- Hairdresser at Lyko2 daysHey Alicia! ๐๐ผ It depends a bit on what kind of shade you want. 0/6 neutralizes the yellow tones and gives a light, more neutral color, while 0/89 gives a cooler, ashy tone to the hair ๐ค The one called 8/81 is a bit darker and will become even cooler ๐ฉถ Have a nice day โ๏ธ

What shade if you want it darker?
Hi! I have naturally red hair that leans more towards chestnut brown than blonde, but when the gray strands appear and the hair lightens, I want a shade that goes more towards brown - without completely removing the red/golden. I have used Igora Expert Mousse in shade 7.65, which unfortunately has been discontinued, so I thought this might be a replacement. More than a color bomb and milder than a toner. I can't make sense of the colors here and what I should choose. I'm also confused about all the talk about silver tones. I want to tone down the gray and get a darker shade. Not the other way around. Could 6/7 or 6 be something for me? I don't want to enhance the red. Rather, I want more brown/warm elements. Thanks! Best regards, Amelie1 product in post What shade if you want it darker?125 views- Hairdresser at Lyko4 daysHey Amelie! ๐๐ผ Since you want to tone down the gray strands and get a darker, brown shade without intensifying the red, you can definitely try shade 6/0. It gives a nice brown touch and retains the warmth in the hair ๐ฅฐ ๐๐ผ lyko.com/sv/wella-professionals/wella-color-fresh-60 Just keep in mind that this is a toner and is not intended to completely cover white/gray strands, but mostly provides refreshment and nuance. If you want more coverage, you need an intensive toner or permanent color ๐ค Have a nice day โ๏ธ

Highlighted Hair
I just bleached my hair, but it got a bit striped at the roots. Should I choose the toner in my natural hair color and only apply the toner at the roots, or should I choose a lighter color that matches the color of the highlights?๐ซถ๐1 product in post Highlighted Hair142 views- Hairdresser at Lyko4 daysHey Lina! ๐๐ผ๐ To even out the "striped" feeling at the hairline, I recommend darkening the highlights a bit. This way, they blend better with your natural color and the transition becomes more harmonious ๐ซถ๐ผ Have a nice day ๐ฅฐ

Not worth the money
Honestly, you get better results from silver shampoo that lasts longer and is easier to apply. I don't think it gave any results even though I'm very blonde. ๐1 product in post Not worth the money933 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHello! ๐ Thank you for taking the time to leave a review โ we really understand the frustration when the result doesn't meet expectations, especially when you have light hair and hope for an effect. ๐โโ๏ธโจ A good tip is to try our hair color test ๐๐ปlyko.com/sv/beauty-scan/harfargstestet ๐จ It's a handy tool where you get personalized product recommendations based on your hair type, starting color, and desired result. Perfect for finding the right toning or color for you. ๐ If you want to continue working with cool shades, pigment masks or a combination of silver shampoo and leave-in products can also help build up and extend the shade. ๐ Have a great day ๐ซ

Made my hair green
Wasn't particularly light before and thought I'd freshen it up with 5/07 Light Natural Brunette Brown, but the ends turned green!! Even greener than in the picture [emoji]1 product in post Made my hair green2592 views- Hairdresser at Lyko2 monthsHey! ๐๐ผ Thank you for taking the time to review the product! ๐ฉท The reason the ends turned green is that they are too light and more porous for this particular shade. In the picture, it looks like you have previously bleached highlights. The color you used, 5/07 Light Natural Brunette Brown, is designed to be applied to a lightness level 5 โ so quite dark hair. When used on a lighter base (level 7โ9), the cool pigments in the color, especially the ashy/greenish tones, can show through more clearly. Thatโs why the ends have taken on a green tone; your hair was simply too light for this shade. Since this is a semi-permanent color that sits on the hair strand, you can try washing out the color pigments with a deep cleansing shampoo. Malibu C Un-Do-Goo is an effective option ๐๐ผ lyko.com/sv/malibu-c/malibu-c-un-do-gooshampoo-266ml Feel free to wash your hair several times and massage gently, especially where the color went wrong. Let the shampoo sit for about 10 minutes before rinsing out ๐ฆ Since it cleans deeply, your hair may feel a bit rough afterward, so be sure to follow up with a nourishing mask ๐ค Feel free to reach out if you want tips on how to get the right shade next time! โจ1 likes

Recommendation
Hi, I have a money piece in front in a light cool tone. Iโm going to let the hair in the back grow out so it doesnโt get so damaged. But I have previously had highlights on the top of my head that now look very yellow, ฤ worse in contrast. I need a recommendation for products I can use ฤ the color shade? Iโm attaching pictures, you canโt see how yellow it actually is here1 product in post Recommendation3727 views- Hairdresser at Lyko2 monthsHey Michelle! ๐๐ผ To achieve a cooler shade and get a nice overall look, I recommend using this shade ๐lyko.com/no/wella-professionals/wella-color-fresh-089-pearl-cendre - It is a bit cooler than 0/6 ๐ค A tip is to wash your hair with a deep cleansing shampoo before Wella Colour fresh, then you'll get more effect ๐ lyko.com/sv/davroe/davroe-clarify-deep-cleansing-shampoo-50ml Have a nice day ๐บ1 likes

Nothing happened
I got this as a recommendation after the hair test. I have bleached highlights that turn yellow quickly. I was careful to say that my hair is very hard to bleach and weak things don't work on my hair. I have quite thick and strong hair and got tips on the lightest silver color because I want gray-silver highlights. Absolutely nothing else happened other than that it got some slightly lighter spots but not silver at all. Honestly feels like it just got yellowerโฆ1 product in post Nothing happened1578 views- Hairdresser at Lyko2 monthsHey Elsa! ๐ฉถ Thanks for sharing! I understand that it feels disappointing when you don't get the result you hoped for, it's not always easy to achieve a silver tone ๐ You can try Color Fresh one more time and see if it works better after another round. Otherwise, this one could be a really good alternative ๐ฅฐ ๐๐ผ lyko.com/sv/milk-shake/milk_shake-colour-whipped-cream-light-grey-100-ml Let me know if you want more tips! ๐1 likes

Wella Pearl Cendre 0/89
Is quite light in the hair, have stopped using "regular" hair dye, will I turn blue from this?1 product in post Wella Pearl Cendre 0/891655 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey Sandra! There shouldn't be any problems since it's quite mild. But feel free to do a test strand ๐ Take care!

Cooler tone?
I dyed my hair at the salon, first red and then toned it back to my natural hair color (the one that shows at the roots), but I can't quite get rid of the warm orange-red color in the lengths. It's lighter in some places and darker in others. Would Wella 0/89 work in the lengths to "match" the color at my roots a bit more, or should I try something else?1 product in post Cooler tone?2860 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey ๐๐ Oh, I understand, I also think it's tricky to find the right products to achieve just the shade you want!
