    A real moisture boost 💦

    First a little about the product: 💦 Pyunkang Yul's ATO Cream Blue Label has a formula with both ceramides and peptides that among other things locks in moisture in the skin barrier and deeply nourishes the skin. 💦 According to the company, the key ingredient is honeysuckle, which is supposed to help soothe and protect the skin from external stressors. 💦 The cream also contains macadamia nut oil and shea butter, which provide essential nutrients and fatty acids and properly moisturize the skin. My skin during the winter months is often dry, especially on the forehead, around the nose, and chin 🫠 I also have redness on my nose and cheeks at times. So much moisture is needed! This cream is thick, and at first I thought: oops, I wonder if the cream is too thick for me? It sat on my skin like a film and never really absorbed. But instead of giving up, I decided to start using less cream, and believe me, the result was completely different! It absorbs quickly and gives an instant glow. I take the little amount I show in the picture, it’s enough for my whole face 👀 I promise! Less product gives a better feeling when it comes to this ✨ Some nights I put on a thicker layer like a mask and wake up with a soft face 😍 I also use it on my elbows and feet, even when I’m self-tanning 🩷 it’s really perfect to use on dry areas then. You get a lot of product for the money, which is super good, but I still can’t give it a full score, and that’s actually due to the consistency, I’m more into gel-like products right now, which means this lovely one becomes too thick 🥲 but I know that as soon as it gets winter here in Hälsingland (which will be soon, trust me) 🤣 I will use this much more, especially as a night cream and on my lips. ✨ This is a product for you if you’re looking for a real moisture boost 💦 who wants nice ingredients at a good price and needs a thicker cream 👍 I would, however, avoid it around the eye area unless you are mega dry, as it can become too "heavy" 🤎 I will definitely buy more products from the brand because I have fallen for the simplicity and the ingredients.     Perfect in the evening, especially in winter. I feel like it really encapsulates previous products at the end of routines and moisturizes properly without having a “greasy” consistency like, for example, Cicaplast (I love that one too). I have sensitive, atopic, and rosacea-prone skin.

    Feels like vaseline!

    I love cicaplast from La Roche Posay and have heard that these are similar. Unfortunately, I can't handle the consistency of this product, as it feels like vaseline on the skin.

This product has some similarities in function, but I completely understand that the consistency doesn’t suit everyone. The formula is more occlusive (similar to petroleum jelly, just like you mentioned), which can feel heavier on the skin – especially if you’re used to lighter textures.     Incredible cream!

    Incredible cream. I have sensitive and dry skin that easily gets clogged. This cream is perfect. Haven't tried it in winter yet, but it's wonderful for the rest of the year.

    Unfortunately not a winner

    I had the feeling that this would be a better version of cicaplast, but for me it feels like butter on the skin and I feel that my skin issues got worse… I don’t quite understand? Is it pore-clogging or does it not work well with cerave foaming cleanser?

Thanks for sharing your experience 💙 I really understand that it feels frustrating when you've hoped for relief from skin issues – however, you don't mention what type – but this is a very rich cream, specially formulated for extremely dry, sensitive, and eczema-prone skin. If you have a combination or oilier skin type – (I think you have a foaming cleanser, which doesn't matter in relation to the cream itself, but is often preferred by oilier skin) – the cream may feel "greasy", as you mentioned. It contains, among other things, shea butter* – just like Cicaplast (which is also barrier-strengthening but has a different texture with oil-regulating zinc). *Despite that, Cicaplast has proven to work surprisingly well even for more reactive, acne-prone skin. 💡 It takes time for the skin to adjust to new products – try applying it on slightly damp skin and use a very small amount if that might work better.     I love it!

    I tested the Pyunkang Yul ATO Cream Blue Label for several weeks on my dry and sensitive skin – and it really works. The cream has a thick, nourishing consistency, but it spreads easily and absorbs quickly. After applying, it gives a feeling of relief, as if the skin can finally "breathe" without tightness and itching. It has a soothing effect, properly moisturizes, and leaves a light protective film, but it’s not greasy. After a few days, the dry patches and irritations disappeared, and my complexion looked healthier and was noticeably more elastic. Perfect for night, but also for day (if you don’t overdo it with the amount). #lykoreview 🖤

    Pretty nice. And feels good on the skin, not sticky. My sensitive skin likes it so far. It doesn't absorb very much into the skin. I can feel residue of it when I wash my face or get water on my face.
