Nice color, doesn't irritate the skin
The cream is a bit beige/yellow and a little looser in consistency than a regular night cream. If you're a real dry skin type, you might need some regular cream to complement it afterwards because it doesn't provide super much moisture. Does it smell like self-tanner? Yes. BUT I only notice it during the actual application, then I don't think about it anymore, and I am actually sensitive to self-tanner smell, so that's a good rating. I apply it with my hands, like when I rub in any cream, but I am of course more careful to get it even and blend it out at the edges, not to get any buildup at the hairline, etc. etc. Do you need to wash your hands afterwards? Yes, you do 😄 The color doesn't turn out brutal-brown but gives color in the amount that I think is perfect for winter; I don't look like I've been in Thailand for three weeks, but I'm not transparent anymore. I haven't experienced the mask staining my pillow during the night, and a very good thing about the product is that I haven't gotten any pimples or other changes in my skin from the product, which some self-tanners for the face have caused in the past.
