Love it!
As a #lykoinflutester, I got the chance to try the lip pencil from #buxom in the shade Hush Hush Henna. Loved the color! Suited me so well 😍 For me, buxom is a new brand that I don't know at all. Which is just fun! Easy lip pencil to use with a super good tip. I liked it! Easy to shape after the lips or fill in. A bit different with a brush on the other end that you can use to fill the lip. A little small brush but serves its purpose. A creamy and pigmented formula. Good durability. I like that it’s waterproof! Just as nice to use alone as a lipstick as to fill in the contours. Fits perfectly with the lip gloss from the same brand. Has quickly become a favorite here at home & will definitely use it a lot now in the fall. Super nice for everyday as well as for parties 🙌 ✨ Nice packaging in a nice color, like the tip but not a huge fan of the brush. ✨ Good ingredients and cruelty-free & vegan. ✨ Nice as a lip pencil & as a lipstick! ✨ Love that you don’t need to sharpen it, just twist it up! Beautiful color and texture, tricky tip
I don't know if it's the user's fault (possibly), but I couldn't outline my lips neatly with this pencil. I'm used to using a pencil of the type with a sharp tip, and this angled tip was a bit tricky. 😵💫🤭 The color and texture are really good though, I liked it! It also seems to hold well. Love it!
I love this lip pencil! It's easy to apply, lasts long, and gives a perfectly defined contour without drying out the lips. Absolutely perfect Lipliner
A lip liner of the thicker kind. But still surprisingly easy to apply. I thought I would hate it because it was so thick, but it turned out to be the opposite. The color is very nice, and I don't find it drying. On one side, there's the actual lip pencil that you can twist up, and on the other side, a brush that you can use to blend the product. Very handy to not have to sharpen it! I've tried using it both as just a lip pencil and to fill in the whole lip with it. The latter version gives a matte lip. So pretty no matter how you do it. Overall, very easy to work with and gives a very nice lip for an everyday look on its own. Pairing it with a gloss makes it extra festive. In the pictures, you can see both. How to Use:
Use the sharp point of the pencil to line and give definition and shape, and the rounded side to fill in lips. Then, use the brush to blend, smooth, and fill-in color.
Artistry Tips
Go BIG: For a fuller lip we suggest overlining the cupids bow and center of the lower lip. Continue by following the natural lip lines and lightly diffuse the color with the brush. Be sure not to overline the entire lip, it can make the lip appear artificial or uneven.
Be BOLD: Create a bold, matte Lip look by using a color one to two shades deeper than your natural lip tone of the Power Line™ Plumping Lip Liner to go along the lip line. Then, use a color like REAL RED, RECHARGE RUBY, or POWERFUL PLUM to line over the other color and fill in the entire lip for a matte, plump pout in a statement color.
