Cheap lip product that plumps the lips
Do you like the feeling and look of plumped lips? 👄 Then this product is perfect for you! I don’t really like such products usually, but this one feels more “cool” and not uncomfortable in any way, which surprised me in a positive way. 🌸 The color doesn’t show much on my lips even though it has quite good pigment. This product is more for plump and shine rather than color, so it doesn’t get full points from me. 🩷 However, this product is very affordable, because I think plumping lip products can often be quite expensive and in the worst case sting. But not this one 😎 In the first picture you see my lips without product and in the second picture how they look afterwards. You can see a difference! Last but not least, a video where I apply the product. Nice shine, but....
🙏In my latest assignment, I received 3 products from Lyko's own brand, and here are my thoughts on this lip balm. 👎I think we should start with what I like least: The appearance – the packaging is not at all to my taste and looks more like a free merch product, one you get at festivals or other fun events. The tube feels incredibly plastic and cheap. Also, the fact that you can't screw the product back on once you've opened it makes it feel even cheaper. 🤷But the formula itself? Well, at first application, I was a bit shocked at how soft the balm was – like room temperature butter. I accidentally pressed too hard the first time, so be careful when applying!! Here, I'm not entirely convinced that I like the formula/consistency. 👍Result and feel: Okay, here I have nothing to complain about. The shine is incredible, and the color I chose is super nice, muted but with plenty of shine. Nice on its own but also over lip liner. The color and shine hold up quite well too, and since it's so rich and you only need to dab it on, you can happily reapply. 👄The plumping effect isn't the best, but you can still see some difference. The tingling is just right and not unpleasant like some plumping products can be. 🤌Whether it cares for my lips, I can't say as I've used it too briefly to judge, but I haven't noticed it drying out my lips like some cheaper products tend to do to me. ⭐If I could give it 2.5 stars, I would, but since it doesn't reach a 3, it gets 2 stars from me. Finally, I received my package from #deodoc as #lykoinflutester, it got a bit stuck on the way 😋 Let's start with the lip balm which has some pros and cons, but unfortunately it’s my least appreciated item in the package.. Appearance-wise, I like the color (love pink 💗), but it looks a bit cheap, very basic lip balm, not necessarily a bad thing, but yeah. 🤷🏼♀️ Here comes my big WTF⁉️ You can absolutely click the product out (like a lipstick), but you can’t get it back in!? I don’t even know what the reason for that is. 😳 Also, when you apply it, for God’s sake - don’t press hard! Since I couldn’t get the product back in, it was too “far” out from the container, and the whole stick kind of imploded because it was so terribly soft.. 🤦🏼♀️ The balm itself feels pleasant, fragrance-free, very transparent color, with a cooling effect that’s supposed to plump. Unfortunately, this is nothing that has ever happened to me with any lip product, and not here either. 🤷🏼♀️ 💄Summary💄 ➕️ Cheap ➕️ Pleasant ➕️ Softening? ➖️ Cheap look ➖️ Not plumping ➖️ Cannot be screwed back ➖️ So soft that you easily destroy all the balm So unfortunately nothing I would buy, a simple balm from the local store would fulfill the same ➕️ points 🤔11 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Melt down lip balm
The product itself is lovely and the texture is completely to my liking. Nice color but tricky packaging
The first thing I noticed is that the packaging feels a bit too "plastic" and cheap. The biggest downside, however, is that you can't screw the product back down once you've opened it. This makes it incredibly difficult to control the amount, so you have to be very careful not to twist up too much at once. The name "Melt Down" definitely fits – the consistency is a kind of mix between solid and liquid that melts as soon as it hits the lips. I think it's a bit too "melting," which means way too much product can come out at once. Regarding the effect: • Plumping: It gives a slight effect, but don't expect any big miracles. • Cooling: It has a cooling sensation that I'm still a bit unsure if I like or not. Despite the hassle with application, the result actually turns out quite nice! Nourishing Lip Serum
As an influencer for Lyko, I got to test the Melt Down Lip Balm in the shade Pinky Promise 👄 It is a nourishing and moisturizing lip serum in balm form, enriched with avocado oil, argan oil, and shea butter! It is also supposed to give a plumping effect to the lips. The product is very easy to apply, gives a cooling effect, and a lot of gloss and glow. It’s nice for both everyday use and parties. 💃 My first impression was that it was a simple, light, and easy-to-use product with nice packaging, and I have continued to like the product. It’s neither great nor bad, somewhere in between, a bit like low-fat milk in my opinion. I don’t see any plumping effect at all, but I do feel the cooling effect. The product is also quite economical, so you don’t need much product, as it easily becomes too much and sticky otherwise. Nice color - lots of gloss!
I've tried Pink Wink, and I think it gives neither too much nor too little color! Just right for everyday use. However, it is very creamy and soft. I get the feeling it would melt in the bag on a warm day. I think it gives a bit of plump, it definitely feels cooling. But it's easy to apply too much product since it's so soft, and then it gets reaaally glossy! Cheap packaging. Lovely shine
As a Lyko influencer, I got to try this lip balm in the color Pink Wink 🩷 I have mixed feelings about this product 🤔 ❌️ The negative is the packaging. What happens now is that you twist up a bit of product, and when you try to apply it on your lips, it just becomes one big blob. It's also way too easy to accidentally twist up too much product, and you can't twist it back down. The formula is kind of too runny for how it's packaged? But on the positive side! Really cooling effect, with some plumping as well 💋 When you instead use a finger to apply the balm, I think you get nice glossy lips with really lovely pigment ✨️🎨 The price is cheap, and well, the product doesn't feel more expensive than what you pay for, so to say. If you want something that feels cooling and gives nice shine and simple pigment, this is the right product! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ That said, it gets 3 stars from me. Juicy lips!
Where does the shine in these lip balms come from?🤪 #lykoinflutester #deodoc This product does everything the product description promises: fullness and shine! And it literally melts when applied to the lips. Unfortunately, it sometimes made application a bit messy. You can’t turn this product back once you’ve dispensed it; you have to work with how much product you’ve rolled out. I’m not a fan of this kind of packaging. Because the product is very soft, it was hard to dose it without wasting some or making a mess on the packaging or lips. Luckily, the product looked really beautiful on the lips and works perfectly as a lip gloss substitute. There’s not much pigment, but as you can see in the picture, it’s a really nice combo with a lip liner! The cooling sensation lasted surprisingly long, but the staying power was poor.
