Lovely packaging
I got to test the Gilded gaze eye palette soft neutrals from Estelle & Thild. Love the packaging. The box made of cardboard in a light, natural beige fits well with the natural and organic image. I really like that it has a magnetic closure which makes it easy to use and it doesn’t get damaged so quickly. It also has a small mirror on the inside of the lid, which is a nice plus. The color shades are nice and subtle. I like that there are both shimmery and some matte shadows. The shadows are velvety soft and apply evenly on the skin. What brings it down a bit is that the dark colors are a bit under-pigmented, and they also fall out somewhat, so you should probably apply the eyeshadow before your base makeup. Summer Glow
I have tested this bronzer from Estelle & Thild in the shade Terra. First impression is a truly lovely packaging. It gives the right impression of a product that is natural and organic, with a subtle beige in a sturdy cardboard box with magnetic closure, making it very user-friendly. It has a small mirror inside, which is a big plus. Really love the look. The bronzer itself is light and silky. It is not too pigmented and can therefore be built up as desired. The texture is very nice and velvety, not too compact and not too loose. It also doesn’t crumble. It has some shimmer in it that gives a beautiful glow and warmth to the face. The shade Terra was a beautiful warm earth tone that gives a sun-kissed finish. My skin is Nordic with a neutral to warm undertone and tans in the sun. So this suits me perfectly. The color also lasts well throughout the day. A bit small
I got to test this Feather Bronser Brush from Estelle & Thild. The brush comes in a very elegant packaging and has a slim handle that provides a good grip. The brush itself is soft, and the shape, which curves upward, makes it easy to apply precisely. The bristles are relatively soft, but I personally prefer even softer brushes. I would say it has a medium size, but again, I prefer larger brushes for bronzer, and this size suits me better for applying blush, so going forward this is probably what I’ll use it for. Nice Brush
I have tested the By Lyko tapered powder brush. I have used it to apply blush from By Lyko. It is dense and picks up the product well. It is nice and light to hold in the hand. What I really like about this one is that it doesn’t shed. It also doesn’t feel rough on the skin. Nice glow
I tested the By Lyko Cheek on fleek blush in the shade heart heat. It’s a small, cute, and simple container. The powder itself is quite loose and dusty, so I tap off the excess product well before applying. The blush is quite pigmented, so I’m very careful when building it up. The color was nice, but I think a slightly warmer tone would suit me better. The blush also gives a hint of glow, which I like. Nice color
I have tested the By Lyko Tan fan bronzer in the color golden days. I like to use bronzer to add a bit of glow and warmth to my face at the end of my makeup routine. So I was excited to try this one. The packaging is simple and easy to open. The product itself was quite loose and a bit dusty, so you have to shake off the excess before applying. It applies pretty well, not too pigmented, and you can build it up. I think the color golden days is really nice for my skin, which is quite light but still gets some color. I have a neutral to warm skin tone. Mature Vanilla
I got to test Goddess Eau de Parfum from Burberry. The first impression is an elegant bottle with golden details that gives a feeling of luxury and matches the scent very well. The initial scent is a bit warm and intense, spicy vanilla with a darkness to it. But when it hits the skin and gets to mature a bit, it becomes a milder, yet warm and mature vanilla scent that isn’t too sweet. It’s feminine and sensual without being too much. As a 36-year-old, I like vanilla scents, but often find them too girly and sugary sweet, but this one suits me well. I don’t really get a wow feeling of something very unique with this, plus it doesn’t have the longest longevity on the skin and needs refreshing throughout the day, so it doesn’t get full marks. I have tested Emerald eau de parfum and I love it! I am a 36-year-old woman who generally likes to express my femininity. But in a mature and classy way and I don’t like it when it gets too sweet. "I wanna feel like a lady." This fragrance fits this perfectly. The bottle is elegant and both the shape and color reflect the impression the scent gives. Classy, grown-up, floral and feminine without being too dark and intense. It fits perfectly now in the summer as it has a freshness to it. But I can also imagine using it the rest of the year. What I also like about this is how well it lasts and how the scent develops throughout the day. It is economical to use and you don’t need much. I spray twice on my neck and once on each wrist and feel this is enough for me. Extra plus that my partner likes it too.
