Feels nice and is good, but not a miracle cure

I bought Estees Lauder Advanced Night Repair after reading so many positive reviews and posts about it. I'm new to taking care of my skin (and myself), so I thought it would fit into my evening routine. I imagined, despite having seen it in many videos ☺️, that it would be much oilier. So I was pleasantly surprised that it was more serum-like, but still not. I was most afraid of the scent, as I am a bit sensitive to scents, generally have trouble with fragrances, and get migraines. I expected a fairly strong, old-fashioned scent, but no! It smells rather lightly floral (or rosehip?), really hard to describe; not fresh, but not intrusive or heavy either, just pleasantly mild, which is great – also considering the night.😴 I need to use quite a bit to spread it over my whole face and neck. My skin soaks it up immediately, it absorbs almost instantly. It doesn't stick or feel greasy, but feels really nice and pleasant! 🥰 I use it after the night serum (with retinal) and before my night cream. I've used this for about 2 weeks and unfortunately don't see any noticeable results. I think the skincare I'm currently testing is what makes my skin smooth and nice (review of that will come later, after testing for a longer time), not this one. Will I buy it again? Hmmm.. probably not.. or well, I don't know. I can imagine there are better oils/serums at a better price, but I really don't know. If I think about it, I would probably miss something if I didn't have it in my routine.. So I'm torn. But right now I have a little left to use, and maybe some of you have a good/better alternative? 🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂 Please let me know if so, thanks! 💕💕 #lykoreview #esteelauder #nightrepair #hudvård
