Curl Soufflé
After I learned that I have wavy to curly hair, I have really tried to highlight this in the best possible way. I have now tested quite a few curl creams, gels, and mousses, but still haven't found my favorite. I was therefore very excited about this one. It is a vegan mousse that is supposed to enhance curls and give more volume, add shine, and protect against frizz, moisture, and heat up to 230 degrees. My first impression was that this sprays out the mousse very poorly. A bit like a cream jar that is about to run out. But I managed to get out a golf ball-sized amount and applied it to the lengths and roots. I scrunched my hair a bit to enhance waves, but not too much as I don't want too many curls. Then I let it air dry. This mousse gives volume! I very rarely have much luck with mousse for my hair, as they usually give too much volume and just create a fluffy and frizzy mess. Unfortunately, that also happened with this one. It enhanced some waves, but it was too frizzy for my taste. I also didn't like the feeling of this in the lengths of my hair. It felt a bit like saltwater spray, so a bit tired. I tried applying this to the roots before blow-drying instead, and it gave nice volume at the roots and some hold. Super Shield
I had basically given up on heat protectant sprays that you can use on dry hair, as I always found that they either made the hair too wet or were terribly sticky. That was until I tried this one! ❤️ I sprayed this on freshly washed dry hair before using heat tools, mostly a curling iron. It sprays a smooth and fine mist and doesn’t make the hair wet or sticky! The only thing I noticed was to be careful not to spray too much, as the hair can get a bit heavy. This really makes my hair silky soft and shiny. Unfortunately, it didn’t give any hold to my curls when using the curling iron, but when using a straightener, I experienced more shine and longer hold. If I have to say something negative, it’s that the scent of this reminds me a bit of Elnette hairspray, and I’m not especially fond of that. But I don’t find that the scent lingers throughout the day. I have been so lucky to test this hairspray that Lyko influtester: and I must say I am SO satisfied with this!!🙌🏼👏🏼🤩 After I cut off half my hair, it has been quite a journey to find my way to style my hair in a way that I feel comfortable with. I am 39 years old and love VOLIUM. This hairspray helps SO much with that! I use it on dry, freshly washed hair; before I curl it, and then I tease my hair a bit to get lift (80 kids you know!) 😁😉 Then I finish off with this again. My hair is both color-treated and bleached, and it is also naturally curly, so I straighten it quite a bit. My first impression was that I like the design of the bottle, it looks professional and luxurious. However, it’s a bit unfortunate that this bottle is smaller than the shampoo bottle from the same series. So the conditioner runs out before the shampoo. The first thing I noticed when I used the conditioner was that it doesn’t smell particularly good. The scent is also very strong. After the shower, the conditioner made it easy to detangle and brush my hair. But unfortunately, I didn’t notice any other significant difference in my hair after using this product. The conditioner does what it’s supposed to do, but it doesn’t give a wow effect. However, one thing this conditioner did well was preserve the color in my hair. I dyed my hair just before I started using this conditioner, and now, a little over a month later, the color in my hair still looks nice. 🤖 In short 🤖 A conditioner that has very good color retention and makes hair easier to detangle and brush after the shower. My first impression was that I like the design of the bottle, it looks professional and luxurious. The first thing I noticed when I used this shampoo was that it smells quite bad. It smells like cleaning products that you have when you clean. Otherwise, it felt very nice to use in the shower. It was easy to distribute in the hair and it lathered well. But unfortunately, the result afterwards was not so good. This shampoo makes my hair feel rough and it gets extra tangled throughout the day. I also find that my hair became harder to style (straighten in my case). However, it did make my hair feel very clean. But I unfortunately think that this shampoo was not so good for my hair type. One thing this shampoo did very well, however, was to preserve the color in my hair! I dyed my hair just before I started using this shampoo, and now, a little over a month later, the color in my hair still looks nice. 🤖 In short 🤖 A shampoo that really cleans the hair and makes it feel clean. I like the design, shape, and color! 🤩 Additionally, it smells good, and the spray bottle works very well. I have used this conditioning spray on towel-dried hair after showering, and it detangles the hair very well and makes it easy to brush out. It also works very well if I want to blow-dry my hair after the shower, as it has heat protection up to 230 degrees! When the hair has dried after the shower and has been styled with this product, my hair looks smooth, soft, and shiny! I also find that it reduces frizz in the hair. ✨ This conditioning spray also moisturizes the hair very well. (Almost too well for my hair, which gets a bit oily 🤃). This can be a bit too oily for my hair, which tends to get oily easily. I can imagine it works a bit better for someone with a drier hair type than I have. 🤩 In short 🤩 A good conditioning spray that detangles knots and makes hair easy to manage after the shower. Works very well as heat protection! My hair is both color-treated and bleached, and it is also naturally curly, so I straighten it quite a bit. My first impression was that the packaging looks professional and luxurious, so you expect good results from the product (and I got that). ✨ I noticed right away when I used it that it is a very economical product, as you don’t need to use much each time. However, I noticed that if you apply too much product, the hair can get a bit greasy. But if you use a moderate amount, the product doesn’t feel in the hair and doesn’t weigh it down. The biggest effect this leave-in had on my hair is that it reduces frizz! ✨ My hair is naturally frizzy, and it’s hard to get it smooth and keep it flat when I’ve straightened it. But after using this, the frizz has mostly settled, and my hair looks smooth and shiny. I also feel that it stays flat longer after I’ve straightened it! My hair was also easier to manage after showering with this. It was easy to brush out, and there were no tangles. My hair also feels smooth and healthy after use! ✨ According to the product description, this product is supposed to immediately seal split ends. Unfortunately, I’ve had a hard time testing this since I was at the hairdresser and had my split ends cut off just before I was tasked with testing this. But I haven’t experienced getting new split ends while using this, so it might actually deliver on its promise! The only thing I don’t like about this product is that it is liiiittle too greasy for my hair. My hair gets greasy easily, and this has a bit too much moisture for my hair type. But if you have drier hair than I do, it’s probably perfect! I’m also not a big fan of the scent; it smells a bit floral. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s not a favorite scent. 💤 In short 💤 A good leave-in product that reduces frizz, makes hair smooth and shiny. It makes the hair feel healthy. The hair is easy to manage without weighing it down.
