Lovely rose chrome dream & good top coat
I have tested this shimmery polish from Essie in the color Frost yourself during the week. I easily fall for shimmer and glitter, so this color is a ten-pointer for me. I would describe it as a soft pink tone with golden and pink glitter. With flash on the camera, you can see a sharp pink shift. The color was easy to apply evenly on the nails, dried quickly, and was easy to paint multiple layers. I was quite satisfied with two layers. The result is understated but luxurious. I have also tested the Essie gel couture top coat together with Frost yourself during the week and am impressed by the shine first and foremost. The top coat gives a full, gel-like finish without a UV lamp and enhances both color and shimmer in a nice way. It is easy to apply, and the brush is, in my opinion, a size that makes it easy to get an even layer. I tested Essie break fix liquid this week and was positively surprised. I had a nail that broke quite far down, which often happens since I work in a warehouse. There was a small crack, so I tested the product on that area. It was easy to apply and didn't feel too thick or sticky, nor too weak or runny as I thought. A few days after application, the nail actually hadn't cracked any further. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the nail, but I hope you, the reader, believe me. The product dries quickly and works well on its own as it is. It really got a proper test on my warehouse nail, and I was positively surprised by how strong the nail felt. I would say that this product is a good alternative to have on hand when a nail breaks in an unfortunate place. Sheer pink with a nice shine
I have tested this nail polish from Essie in the shade Cincin during the week. I immediately fell for the pink tone and thought it would suit me well. However, upon first application, I was surprised by how transparent the color was - with one coat, it felt incredibly sheer. After two coats, the color built up on me, and the result was a nice, shiny pink shade. Since the polish is quite transparent, a bit of precision is required to achieve an even finish. Otherwise, it was easy to work with. It dries quickly and is easy to build up in multiple layers. The durability is in line with a classic Essie polish - good, even better with a top coat.
