Very "chalky" and low in pigment
I have tested #estellethild's Gilded Gaze Eyeshadow Palette. The palette contains five different colors, some with shimmer and some more matte. The color selection is nice and suits most people, but all have somewhat cooler tones. The eyeshadow comes in a light and sleek beige box with a mirror in the lid when you open the palette. When it comes to the eyeshadows' pigments and texture, I unfortunately have to say that I am really disappointed. Over many years, I have tested various eyeshadows from different brands and can clearly tell the difference between what works very well and what simply doesn't hold up. The eyeshadow is "chalky" and dry in texture and flakes when applied to the eyelid. The colors and pigments are also weak and do not show well upon application, even with a good eyeshadow primer underneath. The wear time is also incredibly short, and as soon as you touch the eyeshadow on the eye, it disappears. I would love to see the formula of this eyeshadow further developed so that the beautiful colors actually look on the eye as they do in the palette itself. Nice shimmer, but a bit little color💕
Together with #estellethild's Fether Blush Brush, I have also tested their Pearly Petal Melange Blush in the color Dahlia🌸 The blush itself is beautiful in the compact and makes you want to use the product all the time. The color is a flowery lighter pink with a hint of peach. The packaging of the blush features a classic and sleek beige compact with a relatively large mirror in the lid. It is light and practical to carry in the bag, and it's a big advantage that you get a mirror included with the purchase. Beyond that, I think the product itself is a bit under-pigmented and feels more like a kind of highlighter than a blush. With all the shimmer, it lays down a very glittery layer on the skin, while a blush should preferably give some color to the cheeks. It picks up nicely on the brush when you take the product, but in my opinion, it becomes a bit boring on the skin. Soft and airy blush brush
This time I have tested out #estellethild's Feather Blush brush💕 The brush is small, light, and ergonomically comfortable to hold while applying blush. The bristles are soft and pick up just the right amount of product. The product applies easily and nicely on the skin, and it doesn’t get patchy. Goodbye to sticky sunscreen🩵
Lately, I've been lucky enough to test some of #cosrx's products, and among them was: Airy-Light Invisible Sun Stick🩵 This is a lightweight sun stick that lays down like a thin layer on the skin. The stick is relatively firm and hard in texture, so it keeps its shape well during use. The skin gets a slightly smooth texture but does not feel oily or sticky after application. The skin looks even and matte, and with generous application all over the face, you almost don't need to rub it in🫧 The packaging is simple and practical, and the product itself takes up little space in the bag! A simple and small product you can take with you wherever you go in the sun🐚 I would definitely recommend this! Cooling and moisturizing🫧
Another product I've been so lucky to test as #lykoinflutester! This time it was #cosrx's 5 PDRN Collagen Vitalizing Hydrogel Eye Patch🧡 The product comes in a round orange box with a white lid inside that protects the eye patches so the liquid they are in doesn't spill out. You also get a small white "spoon" that you can use to take the masks out of the box. When applying the masks under the eyes, I experience a cooling effect and that I get less dark circles and less puffiness under the eyes💛 I have kept mine in the fridge so they are extra cold and cooled when I apply the eye patches❄️ I am very satisfied with how these work for the skin and how much moisture they provide under the eyes🫧 However, I think the price is somewhat high considering this is a type of product that is becoming common and not so unique in that sense.1 product in post Cooling and moisturizing🫧147 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Wow, what a serum!
Once again, I've been so lucky to test products like #lykoinflutester. This time, I tested a few different #cosrx products, and among them was this serum: 5 PDRN Collagen Intense Vitalizing Serum🧡 The serum has been used together with their toner from the same collection, and this duo has been absolutely fantastic for my skin. Lots of moisture and glowing skin every single day✨ The product itself is easy to apply, and I've used it both on my face and down my neck. I find that it supports the skin's natural barrier and it doesn't feel sticky on the skin💛 The serum bottle has a simple and practical pump where you get just the right amount of product, depending on how much you want to use. I have recently had the chance to test #cosrx's 5 PDRN B5 Vital Soothing Toner🧡 And this one has really made a good impression on me! The toner is light and liquid in consistency, but not too watery. It can be applied to the skin with either a cotton pad or directly with the hands. I have preferred to use my hands as the product actually absorbs into the skin and not into the cotton pad. The product is economical to use and I find that it lasts a while. Together with some of the other products in the series, my skin has gotten lots of moisture and feels soft in the summer heat☀️ I would definitely recommend this product to those with normal/dry skin, really a good toner! Long-lasting in use, good moisture🧴
For a few weeks, I've been lucky enough to test some of #coolderma's skincare products. Among these was this Advanced Hyaluronic Nourishing Eye Contour Cream🌸 This eye cream contains, among other things, avocado oil, agrireline peptides, and hyaluronic acid to name a few🥑 The cream has a light and soft texture and spreads evenly over the skin. It smells clean and pleasant and is fragrance-free. It provides plenty of moisture and leaves a nice glow under the eyes✨ The tube contains 30 ml of product, and the cream is long-lasting in use. Only a small amount of product is needed for a good result. My only criticism is really the price of the product. There are many good eye creams out there that can be compared to this one but at about half the price.
