I have been so lucky as #lykoinflutester to test #carmex’s new lip balm sun defence with SPF 30 for a few weeks now, and this is my experience with the product🥰 I have never been a big Carmex user over the years and was therefore a bit excited to test this. Pros✅ - The lip balm is moisturizing and protects the lips well in the cold winter air. - It has a light tropical fruit scent, and I like that the scent is real and not too overwhelming. It’s not bothersome when using it🍍 - It’s of course also an advantage that it comes in a compact little stick with a wheel at the bottom to twist it up. - SPF 30 is great for both summer and winter🥰 Cons❌ - You have to apply it more often than many other types of lip balms, which provide more moisture and last longer. - It can sometimes feel like the lips dry out a bit more than usual. Totally okay, but not for me
I have as #lykoinflutester received these cute little #carmex lip balm tubes🍒🍍🍓 They come in three different scents, cherry, pineapple, and strawberry, all of which smell fresh and sweet. I have been testing these for a few weeks now, and this is my opinion on the product☺️ Pros✅ - The packaging of the product itself is nice, small and cute tubes that are easy to take with you when you go traveling, otherwise they also fit great in your pocket. - The product glides nicely over the lips and distributes just the right amount with the round tip as an applicator. - Good scent and cooling effect on the tube with pineapple scent, this is my favorite of the three different ones. Cons❌ - After longer periods of testing, I find that my lips dry out faster, which means I have to apply the product more frequently, which I think brings the product down. - It doesn't have the same moisturizing effect as other lip products on the market today. - There is a slightly artificial/candy-like scent on the tube with strawberry and cherry scent, which I personally don't like that much. I recommend these to those who like Carmex products, or to younger kids who might find it exciting to have a few different scents. Moisturizing serum at an OK price
I have been testing #cosrx’s advanced snail mucin power essence as part of my skincare routine for a few weeks now🌸 This is a moisturizing serum/essence that can be used before applying moisturizer to the face. A small amount lasts a long time, and it feels cooling and pleasant on the skin. I have previously used this a lot in my skincare routine during the summer, as I want a lot of glow and moisture! The product absorbs quickly into the skin and does not leave a film or layer on the skin. It is easy to use, has no scent, and feels very clean when applied to the face. I personally believe that this product works best in the summer on Nordic skin, which often becomes very dry and sensitive in the winter months, but it is great for spring and summer. Moisturizing, but not enough for dry winter skin!
I’ve been so lucky to test #cosrx’s advanced snail all in one face cream for a few weeks now, and here’s my opinion☺️ This is an incredibly exciting product that feels both slimy and weird when you touch it, but it gives a lot of moisture to the skin when applied. I’ve previously used this product in the summer to give both glow and moisture to the skin, and it worked great✨ Now that I’ve had the chance to test it again, I have a slightly different experience with the product. I notice that the cream provides immediate moisture when applied, but it absorbs quickly and does not help maintain moisture in the skin when the air is cold and dry. On the contrary, I feel that my skin becomes dry and I continue to get dry patches on my face. Velvety on the skin, perfect base for makeup💕
In the last few weeks, I have been so lucky to test some of #mamonde's products, which are Lyko's latest additions to their range! Among these lovely products, I got to test their Flora glow rose liquid mask🌸 This product contains 10% PHA that exfoliates the skin, provides more nourishment, and increases hydration. They are described as a super base under makeup due to their ability to even out the skin and make the makeup last longer. I completely agree with this, and my makeup has stayed in place better than ever in the last few weeks, and it hasn't flaked off when the air starts to get cooler. The product has a thin/watery consistency when you drop the droplets in your hand, but it gets a more oily/thicker consistency when you rub the products together in your hands. It also has a pleasantly fragrant floral scent that doesn't feel too strong when applied to the face. I have used the product both with the other products in the series, where they give a really nice result. But it also works very well with my regular skincare routine, where I apply this after cleansing. Good product, but reminds me of other similar products!
I am one of those who have been so lucky to test the new brand that has launched at Lyko #mamonde! This cleanser is recommended for all different skin types, and is a fresh gentle oil cleanser with a light scent of mint🌸 I received a small version of this to test it out. The cleanser is applied to dry skin and massaged into the face, and rinsed off with water afterwards. It is easy to use and leaves the skin soft and hydrated. Due to its size, I haven't been able to try it as many times as the others, but I am still satisfied with the result it gives. I recommend the cleanser to anyone who likes a good oil cleanser in their skincare routine, which is both gentle and leaves a hydrated result on the skin. Nice product with lots of moisture and glow!
I have also been so lucky to test out some of the products from the new Korean skincare brand #mamonde at Lyko. Among these is this pore-minimizing face cream🌸 It contains bakuchiol, which is said to be a gentler and more natural alternative to retinol. The cream has a light herbal scent with a slightly thicker consistency that spreads nicely over the skin. I have been using the cream for several weeks now, and I can definitely say that this product has been exciting to try as it is something completely new for me. The cream is recommended for normal/combination skin, which I believe is accurate. Personally, my skin tends to get quite dry at this time of year, so I was a bit skeptical about whether it would provide the same effect I wanted. However, the product surprised me and has given both plenty of moisture and glow to my skin throughout the day, and it sits nicely under makeup. I have not used products with a pore-minimizing effect before, so I cannot assess whether it makes them any smaller than anything else. Clean and good feeling🍋
This time I have been so lucky to test some of L:A Bruket's products. Among these was this hand soap. The soap comes in a brown stylish bottle with a slightly rustic vibe. The soap lathers easily, and you feel clean and good after using it. The hand soap has a lemongrass scent that is fresh🍋 Personally, this one is a bit too sharp for me. I prefer a bit more floral scents when I wash my hands, but there are many who will absolutely love this scent too! I have been so lucky to test some different products from L:A Bruket, and this body oil is one of them. It comes in a simple brown bottle with a rustic feel! It has a pump function that makes it easy to apply the product🫶🏻 My opinion on the product: ✅ Nice packaging ✅ Moisturizing ✅ Small and compact ❌ High price for little product ❌ Sharp scent of lemongrass: not my personal favorite ❌ Sticky and oily feeling on the skin: unusual for me as I often use moisturizer instead of oil I think this is a nice product for those who like to use body oil that smells fresh of lemongrass and if you can also look past the steep price. Good product but not my favorite scent🍋
I have been so lucky to test some products for Lyko, this time from the brand L:A Bruket. I have been testing their scrub with lemongrass for a few weeks now, and this is my opinion on the product: ✅ Moisturizing for the skin ✅ Not too big and not too small grains in the scrub, which is pleasant on the skin ✅ Leaves you with a clean and pleasant feeling ✅ Nice and rustic packaging ❌ Strong scent of lemongrass: I was personally very excited about this scent when I received the products, but unfortunately, I think it is way too sharp. I would have preferred a different scent.
