Volume for the lashes, but not quite for me
I'm a bit picky when it comes to mascara. I have naturally straight lashes that easily lose their curl, plus oily eyelids. Therefore, I rely on a mascara that both holds the curl throughout the day and doesn't smudge. I prefer mascaras that separate the lashes well, add length, and preferably some volume 🌸 Unfortunately, this mascara didn't quite make it to the top for me. It gives nice length and volume, and can be built up if desired. Still, I found the brush a bit clumsy to work with. It was difficult to get the lashes properly separated, and they tended to clump together easily. When I tried to clean up, it didn't take much before I got mascara on the skin around my eyes. I also experienced that the mascara smudged a bit on my eyelids during the day. It also didn't tolerate me touching around my eyes very well without ending up with dark marks. On the plus side, it doesn't flake at all under the eyes ✨ The biggest downside for me, however, was that it couldn't hold the curl in the lashes. Natural Glow and Care for the Lips
I love glossy lip products! They are a must in my makeup routine and in my “on-the-go bag” 💄 For me, the perfect lip product must have enough pigment to be worn alone, LOTS of shine, and a comfortable texture that feels neither too thick nor sticky. As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test this lip oil from #estellethild in the shade “Mulberry,” and it checked off most things ✅ It gives a nice color, beautiful shine, and feels comfortable on the lips. At the same time, it nourishes and adds moisture, so the lips feel soft even after the product is gone! If I’m to be a bit critical, I would have liked a bit more pigment and a touch more shine. But they don’t claim it gives that either. Beautiful both with and without makeup
This primer gives a really nice glow and works just as well alone as under makeup 💅 I have actually used it mostly without makeup on these sunny days, when I just want to give my skin a little extra life without going for a full makeup look. It gives a fresh and healthy glow from the inside out, which I personally really like! The first thing I noticed was the scent. A slightly strong smell that is noticeable upon application but disappears quickly when the product is blended in, so it hasn't been a problem for me. What you should be a bit careful about is the amount of product you apply. The product is economical to use, and if you use too much, the glow can become a bit metallic. The primer also sets quite quickly, so it's worth working it in right away. When I applied too much product, it became a bit harder to blend out and I experienced getting white patches (see picture). When you find the right amount, however, it gives a really nice and natural glow ✨ The design is simple and natural, reflecting the product and the brand. A “dupe” of Cherry In The Air 🍒
I was really positively surprised by the scent of this one! Isabel really hit the mark when it comes to cherry scent. It reminds me a lot of Cherry in the Air, which was one of my favorites a few years ago 🍒 A pleasant cherry scent. It’s sweet and fruity, while also having a freshness that keeps it from being too heavy or cloying. Not overly sweet, so it suits both adults and younger people. It’s a scent that’s easy to like and perfect for warm summer days, vacations, and everything that comes with them. In my opinion, the design isn’t the most luxurious, but the bottle is practical, neat, and travel-friendly. It takes up little space in a purse or suitcase, and this is exactly the kind of scent I’d want to bring on a trip to a sunny destination. The biggest, and really only, downside is the longevity. I would have liked to have this scent with me all day, but unfortunately, on me it only lasts about 2-3 hours before it becomes very faint. A bit disappointing since this is an EDP. Longevity improves somewhat by using body lotion or body wash with similar scent notes. All in all, this is a fresh, feminine, and summery cherry scent. An elegant and sophisticated fragrance
I was really happy when I, as #lykoinflutester, got the chance to try this perfume from #burberry. I had high expectations since I’ve heard a lot of positive things about “her” fragrances, and vanilla is one of my absolute favorite notes, cherry is also high on the list. My first impression was that the scent felt quite mature. To me, it seems relatively intense at first, with a clear alcohol note in the first few minutes. As it settles on the skin, the cherry notes come forward more, and the scent becomes softer and a bit sweeter 🍒 Yet it retains a sophisticated and feminine character. An elegant fragrance, perfect for festive occasions or evenings when you want a more elegant scent. I had hoped for more vanilla, as that was the note I was most looking forward to. On my skin, it doesn’t come through very clearly, which was a bit disappointing. The scent is also deeper and heavier than what I usually choose, but it grows on me more and more. It has also been really fun to try something different from my usual favorites. The longevity is very good, and I find the scent becomes more pleasant the longer it stays on the skin. As with all perfumes, I recommend testing it on your own skin before buying. Both my sister, my mother, and I had slightly different experiences of the scent, so it’s definitely one of those perfumes that develops differently from person to person. For me, this fragrance lands somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. Very good scent, but doesn't quite reach other products on the market
The first thing I want to highlight is the product's scent, it is really good! Fresh, summery, and light, without being too sweet 🍭 Unfortunately, the packaging gives a somewhat cheap impression. The bottle feels plasticky, and the pump is, in my opinion, the product's biggest weakness. It is hard to press down and sprays the product out in a concentrated stream, which makes it difficult to distribute evenly in the hair. And almost impossible to get it even if you spray it directly into the hair 💦 My solution has been to spray the product into my hands first and then distribute it in the hair. I have tested it both on dry and wet hair, and clearly experience the best results on wet hair. On dry hair, the hair can become a bit sticky if I use too much product, while this has not been a problem on wet hair as long as I use my hands to distribute it in. Conclusion: The scent is definitely the product's strongest side ✨🍋, but when the packaging feels cheap and the spray function works so poorly, it becomes difficult to highlight the product over many of the other good heat protection products on the market. A good flat iron at a lower price?
My first impression is that the flat iron is in a super nice color that I love 🍬 It is also light, which I think is practical if you want to bring it on a trip. My hair consists of a mix of coarse and fine strands with some natural waves, and it is usually not difficult to straighten 🩷 But at 170–180 degrees, which I prefer to use to protect my hair as much as possible, it unfortunately didn’t work very well. I had to go over the same sections several times to get the hair somewhat straight. At 210–220 degrees, however, it performs very well, and the result was flawless! It still detracts a lot that it needs such high heat to give good results 🔥 Other flat irons I’ve used handle my hair fine at around 180 degrees. Something else worth noting is that after just a few uses, I noticed the pink coating on the plates starting to flake a bit, which gives a somewhat cheaper quality impression. ➕ Light and comfortable to use ➕ Gives a smooth and good result ➕ Nice price ➖ Needs high heat to get results ➖ No travel case/storage bag included – not a minus for me, but maybe something to consider. Conclusion: A light and user-friendly flat iron that delivers good results, but only when the temperature is turned quite high. Perfect blush topper 😍
At first glance, I was very curious about the applicator, as I have never encountered this type before. And it’s genius!! The narrow tip makes it super easy to place the right amount exactly where you want 🤩 Additionally, it’s more hygienic since you don’t have to dip an applicator into a bottle. The fact that the product comes in a tube is also a big plus, it makes dosing easy, and in a busy everyday life, it’s nice to skip an extra step, as it can be applied directly to the cheek without any problems. The consistency is a bit thick, but easy to blend out. I tested the color across the dancefloor, and I found it to be a bit under-pigmented. Alone, it doesn’t give as much color as I would have liked. But as a blush topper, it’s fantastic! It gives a natural, dewy glow without glitter, exactly the type of glow I love 😮💨 I don’t use much blush, but I love products that give glow, so this working a bit like a multiproduct is right up my alley. I especially see it being perfect for summer when you just want a bit of fresh color and glow 😍 I would have loved to give it 5 stars, and it would have received that if it were a bit more pigmented. However, it may be that it would feel different in a darker shade or on a lighter skin tone. Estee Lauder vs Charlotte Tilbury
I have been using this daily since I received it to test it properly. Color: 2N I love the wide applicator, it fits perfectly under the eye 🤝 However, it is a bit stiff and not very flexible. I have some dark circles and a somewhat dry eye area with fine lines. A moisturizing concealer settles into the lines, while a dry one emphasizes them and goes on cakey. Usually, I use Natasha Denona and am also satisfied with Lancôme. This concealer sets quickly, so you should work fast, or with one eye at a time. Don’t let it sit or apply it to too many places before you start blending. I prefer to use my fingers, and might go over with a sponge. The formula is a bit thicker and drier than I’m used to, and it doesn’t blend as seamlessly, which brings it down a bit. The coverage is very good without feeling heavy. I am still a bit cautious about building it up too much, for fear that it might cake. In the first video, you can see the difference with and without concealer, and it’s quite significant 🤭 I also tested it against Natasha Denona, one under each eye. The result was surprisingly similar in terms of coverage and finish. However, this one feels drier, and I notice throughout the day that the area feels somewhat drier where it’s applied. You can also see that it’s a bit drier. At the end of the video, you can see how they held up throughout the day. You don’t see the differences as clearly on video as you do in real life. After using it over time, the impression remains the same: It is a bit drier in both feel and finish. It’s not a big problem, I have used it daily after all, but it does mean that it doesn’t quite measure up to my other favorites.
