Sleek packaging with practical pump
Like the scrub in the same series, which I got to test through #lykoinflutester, my first impression of this scent was also something I was skeptical about. It's not a type of scent I usually choose in body products, as it is quite strong and reminds me of essential oils often associated with spas. The positive is that the scent feels a bit calming and, as mentioned, has a spa-like feeling. So if you like this style, it's definitely a plus šæ The oil itself is easy to spread and lays down like a thin layer on the skin. It leaves the skin soft, but also a bit sticky, which I feel you almost have to expect from a body oil. However, I find that it absorbs surprisingly well over time. I also like the packaging: it's sleek, compact, and easy to take with you. The pump works very well and causes minimal spillage, which is a plus š§“ But the strong scent is probably something that brings it down for me, even though it is definitely growing on me more and more. #labruket1 product in post Sleek packaging with practical pump452 viewsto leave a comment - 20 hoursRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Fresh and Tangy Scent
Of the products I've received from L:A Bruket through #lykoinflutester, this has undoubtedly been my favorite! I've had it sitting on the kitchen counter, both because the bottle looks nice, and because the scent spreads a bit in the room š I really like this deep scent in a hand soap - it's fresh and tangy. Maybe a bit intense, but for me, that's not a problem. It lathers well and doesn't dry out my hands, which I appreciate since I wash them several times when I'm in the kitchen š«§ On the other hand, the price brings it down, as I think this is quite high. #labruket1 product in post Fresh and Tangy Scent123 viewsto leave a comment - 21 hoursRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Perfect grains in the scrub
At first impression, I wasn't completely sold on the scent of the product. I usually tend to go for sweeter, gourmand scents, so I was a bit skeptical. But already after the first shower, I received several compliments on how good I smelled. The scent has grown on me, and it gives me a sort of spa feeling, a bit like a mix of essential oils blended with citrus š§š¼āāļø The grains in the scrub have a nice size, I don't feel like they scratch the skin, but that they scrub the skin well. The oil that comes with the scrub stays on after I've rinsed off, so you feel a bit oily when you come out of the shower. If you like the feeling of being well moisturized, that's a plus, but you might also find it a bit sticky. One downside to this type of scrub is that they can tend to clump or harden a bit when they've been sitting for a while. Unfortunately, I see some tendency to that here as well, but for now, it loosens nicely if you just stir a bit in the scrub. I'm unsure if this will get worse over time. All in all, it's a good scrub, it's effective without being too rough, and that's what I like best about the product! The scent is a bit outside my comfort zone and not quite what I usually go for, but I notice that it's growing on me š #lykoinflutester #labuket1 product in post Perfect grains in the scrub1520 viewsto leave a comment - 2 monthsRating: 2 out of 5Verifierad testare
Be cautious with product amount
I was honestly very skeptical about this and excited to test it, since I have tried SPF products for hair before that did nothing but make my hair greasy 𫤠After bad experiences, expectations were low. The first impression met expectations. I sprayed the product in dry hair and built it up gradually to test how much the hair could take before it got greasy. It didnāt take much before the hair was sticky and shiny. Next time I sprayed it in my hands and distributed it from there, which worked a bit better, especially if I avoided too much product on the scalp. Eventually, I found out that it works best in wet hair, and thatās also how Iāve continued to use it. A small dab in my hands that I distribute into my hair after the shower, on sunny days āļø The challenge is still to dose it correctly, as itās hard to know how much is needed before the hair gets sticky and looks greasy. But if youāre lying on the sunbed, taking a bath, and showering in the evening anyway, itās a perfectly fine product šļø Whether the product provides maximum protection when I have to be a bit careful with the amount to avoid greasy hair is hard to say. But it definitely feels better than no SPF. For those of you who like a slick bun, itās great to apply in the parting and scalp, especially now that the sun is peeking out. And bonus: The product smells amazing! So if nothing else, it can work well as hair perfume š¼ Itās also in a convenient size to take on trips or in your beach bag! #lykoinflutester #waterclouds1 product in post Be cautious with product amount1856 views- 2 monthsWhat a great and detailed review! š„° Good to know how to use it in the best way too š¤1 likes

What have they put in this? Itās pure magic in a bottle šŖ
What have I missed by not trying LāOCCITANEās products earlier? š± This shower oil has transformed my entire shower routine. I never thought a (shower) product could give such a luxurious feeling š®āšØ For a moment, I forgot I was standing in my own bathroom, this is pure luxury. This shower oil is everything you could dream of in a shower oil/body wash - it moisturizes, lathers so you feel clean, works for shaving, and leaves the skin both soft and clean, plus it smells heavenly! What more can you ask for? A soft almond-vanilla scent that feels both exclusive and comfortable. Combined with the body oil from LāOCCITANE, this is a perfect match. The scent is mild, yet distinct enough that I always get compliments when Iāve used it in the shower. And it pairs well with just about any type of perfume. It gives me a comfy vibe, like being wrapped in a blanket, while Iām ready for a night out at a restaurant in a summer dress in Spain. Super nice. Take my money šø Iām going to buy this again and again and again ā¦ā¦ā¦ #lykoreview1 product in post What have they put in this? Good product for frizzy hair āļø
My hair consists of: - Mostly fine hair strands - Many hair strands. So thick hair overall - Very coarse and frizzy hair strands in the neck - A bit of frizz in general, in some places Therefore, I always look for products that: - Donāt weigh down the hair ā Help against frizz ā especially in the neck ā Work for both fine and coarse hair strands Itās not easy to find products that can cover all my needs, as they usually cover one but not the other. The first thing I noticed was the scent. It was clean and light. I love products that smell good, but this one doesnāt smell overpowering š¼ The product is light in consistency and surprised me positively already when I pumped it out into my hand and felt the consistency. It felt almost like a light moisturizer. It absorbs quickly into the hair and doesnāt weigh it down at all. Neither the fine nor the coarse hair. I have mainly used the product on damp hair, and I found it gives the best result for me. Then it doesnāt feel "greasy". This is one of the few products that actually manages to tame the frizz in the neck, something that almost no product can. The result is much smoother and softer, without the hair feeling sticky or greasy. My experience is also that you can use quite a bit of product without worrying about the hair being weighed down or feeling sticky. In my opinion, it meets my requirements: ā Light and effective ā Tames frizz without weighing down ā Pleasant scent ā Smooths and gives softness. Both for fine and coarse hair strands All in all, I am impressed with the product, and I look forward to the long-term effect of it š #lykoinflutester #waterclouds1 product in post Good product for frizzy hair āļø677 viewsto leave a comment - 11 monthsRating: 3 out of 5
Somewhat impractical packaging
I have been so lucky to try this conditioner from Kerastase. From experience, Kerastase has many good products that I am very satisfied with, so I was excited to see if these products would also live up to expectations. I think the bottle is nice and has a great design, but the cap on the bottle is somewhat impractical considering it has a large screw cap. It feels a bit clumsy when you have the product in one hand and then have to screw with the other. But a plus is that it stands upside down, so the product runs down towards the opening and you donāt have to shake to get it out. Even though I usually am not very sensitive to strong scents, I found this one to be quite intense. It reminds me a bit of laundry detergent, or a classic soap you might find at an older lady's house, somewhat nostalgic, but also a bit disturbing. The scent took up a bit too much space for my taste 𫤠I have thick hair, but fine and thin hair strands. I felt it weighed my hair down a bit, which pulls it down a little. I also found the product a bit difficult to distribute in my hair. But on the other hand, I didnāt find that the conditioner made it hard to comb my hair out, but rather that it became a bit extra smooth 𤩠All in all, I give this 3 stars. #lykotestpilot #kerastase1 product in post Somewhat impractical packaging5761 viewsto leave a comment - 11 monthsRating: 4 out of 5
Genius with refill!
Like, how genius is it that thereās a refill bottle!? Perfect for the wallet and good for the environment I love the design of this bottle! Itās sleek and looks great on the bathroom shelf. And not to mention, I LOVE the concept of being able to buy refills. The oil both looks and feels luxurious. It smells good, but not too strong, and the pump bottle is just luxe The first time I tested the oil, I didnāt come away with the best impression. This was because I had used way too much product on dry hair. The hair became a bit greasy, and it took some time for the oil to absorb into the hair. In other words, I quickly learned that the oil is economical in use, and you can get far with one pump. But thatās also a big plus, as it lasts a long time! As an additional comment, you can definitely use it on dry hair; you just need to know that you donāt need so much product. I have very frizzy hair, but this takes care of most of it and has been a must in my daily routine. It tames and significantly reduces frizz while leaving the hair shiny and soft I also havenāt experienced it weighing down my hair. A big bonus is that it also contains heat protection! Other than being a bit pricey, I canāt say anything negative about the product. Thatās also why I donāt give it a full score. But in return, itās really economical in use. #LYKOTESTPILOT #KERASTASE1 product in post Genius with refill!1987 viewsto leave a comment - 11 monthsRating: 4 out of 5

A dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Flawless filter?
In a somewhat desperate attempt to find a product corresponding to the Flawless Filter from Charlotte Tilbury, as mine was nearly empty - I picked this one up. I hadn't heard anything about the product beforehand, so I had no big expectations. To my great surprise, this was so nice and applied really beautifully on the skin š My holy grail product is without a doubt Charlotte Tilbury's Flawless Filter and I buy it over and over again, but it is hard to get, and not least quite expensive. Maybe I can eventually replace it with Magic filter? I have now used Flawless Filter in combination with Magic Filter from Essence for a longer period. Something that has worked perfectly since the color selection in Magic Filter is a bit limited, and my Flawless Filter is a bit too dark. I am looking forward to using Magic Filter alone going forward, as I have liked it well, so far! The product does not contain glitter (which I am really glad for) just a lovely glow that makes the skin look healthy and dewy š¤šŖ© In the last two pictures, I have swatched Charlotte Tilbury and Essence Magic Filter, both with and without flash. Ignore that the colors are completely different and cannot be compared, otherwise they look pretty much the same. (The dark swatch on the left is Charlotte Tilbury, and the light one on the right is Essence). The consistency of Magic Filter is a bit thicker than Charlotte Tilbury's. But it doesn't feel like a āmaskā on the skin. It also smells a bit strange, so if you have a sensitive nose, you should keep that in mind. I personally am not bothered by it, as I do not find the scent particularly intense when the product is blended out. Note: be aware that the Essence Magic Filter contains 15ml, so it contains less product than the Flawless filter.
