π¦ First impression Smaller bottle(?) than most other gel polish brands I've tried, super good pigment, LOVE the application brush - just right, almost scent-free π Usage I've used this brand for several years and will probably continue to do so for many years to come. Super easy application and rarely (in my opinion) requires more than 1 coat. β¨ Result Unfortunately, the durability hasn't been the best, at best they lasted 2 weeks which is still good for gel polish! But if you have builder gel underneath, it lasts forever. π Plus π You can find this brand almost everywhere in Sweden π Good pigment & easy application π Definitely worth the money! π Minus β€οΈβπ©Ή Not the best durability π Conclusion Smaller than most gel polishes in size, BUT it's actually perfect if you only use these for home use. Such an incredibly beautiful color, I have the color French Pink and pure white on the tips! It makes a perfect French tip. Depend gel
So good really. Easy to apply and a tip is to buy or take a smaller brush to take gel from the regular brush to get a nicely shaped nail and so that it doesnβt get too much in one spot if, like me, you donβt have the time to sit and bend your finger and only do one nail at a time, I manage to do 2 at a time. Clean around immediately on the sides as it can run away if you accidentally put just a little too much. I take a similar brush and the original Depend remover soaked in remover and then wipe off what I cleaned and then a new pad for every 2 nails. Saves time and the most important thing for me. Whether these last 3 weeks I dare not say but I take mine off after about 1 week as I donβt use tips. Itβs worth trying as you get a whole kit from the start for a little over 200 SEK, for me the price canβt even be discussed as itβs so cheap and gentler than a salon which I wouldnβt do or pay for. How to Use:
Hereβs how to apply Gel iQ on your nails:
1. Cleanse: Apply Gel iQ Pre-Cleanser on a cotton pad and thoroughly cleanse your nails. Let your nails dry for 30 seconds to ensure theyβre completely dry. Avoid touching the nail surface after cleaning.
2. Base Coat: Apply a thin layer of Gel iQ Base Coat. Cure for 30 seconds under a UV/LED lamp.
3. Color: Next, apply a thin layer of Gel iQ Color. Cure for 30 seconds under the UV/LED lamp. Then, apply another thin layer of Gel iQ Color and cure for another 30 seconds under the UV/LED lamp.
4. Top Coat: Apply a thin layer of Gel iQ Top Coat and cure for 30 seconds under the UV/LED lamp.
5. Cleanse/Top Finishing:
Your nail now has a sticky surface that needs to be removed for that ultimate shine. Itβs crucial to cleanse the entire nail surface with Gel iQ High Shine Cleanser. Wipe the surface with a firm motion to eliminate the sticky layer. Youβll want to have at least 12 cotton pads on hand.
