LOVE
Iβve stopped getting my nails done at the salon just because it looks so nice with Depends Gel Iq. Iβm so happyπ - Most helpful negative1 month
Side effects?
I think the product is really good and the whole idea behind it is fantastic. But I've gotten worse nails and cracks under the nails in the skin that are recurring. I wonder if anyone else has gotten these cracks from gel iq? Since I don't know yet where they come from, but I get new recurring cracks when I change the color after 14 days. The nails have also "rested" which can be seen in the pictures. Is there anyone else who has had these problems?!9 likes4622 viewsto leave a comment - 4 days
Crap
This is so HIMLA bad. So tired of everyone saying it's good. I can never get it to look even, dirt always sticks from the brush and it's gone after a week. Now maybe people think I'm just bad, but I've had it for over a year and tried MASSIVE different techniques, it looks CONSTANTLY sloppy. However, it's easier to get it right with strong colors like red and orange, but if you want lighter, maybe pastel or more skin-colored, it's done.292 views- Customer service at Lyko3 daysHey Alina! π Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review of the set 𧑠It really seems like you tested it according to all the rules, so it's a shame that it didn't turn out to be a full score for you. Just like you said, there are many who think it works well, but sometimes it doesn't work so well for oneself, unfortunately. I hope you find something else that works better for you β¨

Can you use gel over acrylic?
Maybe a really dumb question, but I get acrylic nails done at the salon every three weeks, and towards the end, thereβs obviously a growth that can be bothersome. Iβve been wondering if I could do gel iq over it to even out the nail that last week, but Iβm unsure if thatβs possible? Iβm worried that gel iq will stick to the acrylic nail and wonβt come off without damaging the acrylic nail.. do you know if this is possible?307 views- Customer service at Lyko4 daysHey there Maja! π₯° You can use Gel iQ over acrylic nails to even out the growth, but it requires caution, buff the acrylic lightly, apply Gel iQ in thin layers, and seal the edge. Gel iQ is not soak-off, so it can be difficult to remove without damaging the acrylic.. If you're worried about Gel iQ sticking too hard, you can try other fun alternatives ππ A regular nail polish is easier to remove from acrylic and can temporarily hide the growth or add glitter or other decoration at the cuticles to disguise the growth and create a trendy look π If you don't feel confident, talk to your nail technician. They can often help find a solution to hide the growth in a way that is gentle on your acrylic nails π₯° Take care!

Lovely everyday rescue
Gel polish is easy to do, and lasts really ok on my nails. I don't quite get 2 weeks, around 1.5 weeks the polish starts to lift at the edges. Despite this, it's an everyday rescue, and quick to do neat manicures. I recommend it if you love well-groomed nails!1544 viewsto leave a comment - 3 weeks
Question?
I have had this kit for a few months now and I love the results, but I find that the nails don't hold very long and start to peel after just 2-5 days, which feels like they shouldn't do. What could this be due to? I have done all the steps that are on the packaging, I have also tried filing the tops of the nails to give the polish something to adhere to a little better, I have also tried to cure the polish a little longer than recommended. None of my attempts have worked and the longest they lasted was about a week. It would be so great to get a response. Thank you!π1343 views- Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHey Siri To avoid the polish chipping, you should carefully prepare the nails, apply thin layers (too thick layers can cause the polish to chip faster). Avoid painting outside the nail so that the polish makes contact with the skin, and ensure that the curing is correct. If the problem persists, it might be a good idea to double-check that the LED lamp and products are in good condition (e.g. that the lamp is not defective). If you suspect something is wrong, feel free to register a complaint through your customer account β€οΈ All the best!

Love this!
I have never gone and had my nails done professionally, so I have no experience at all with that. But I think this kit is fantastic! Itβs a process to learn what works best and how to make it last. I really recommend taking your time when doing this. Then the prep work is the most important thing before you get started! The nails should be clean and dry, push back/cut the cuticles, buff the nail surface properly so the gel has a good grip. Be careful not to get the gel on the skin, as it can develop allergies. If you are meticulous, it will hold beautifully! π If you are a βpicker,β itβs clear that it will come off, especially if you are there trying to pick it off. But with careful prep, it should be much harder to succeed! I have used tips underneath that I have filed a bit to blend with my natural nails. Then I buffed my nail thoroughly. I used the color βless is moreβ π€ and think this will be the perfect neutral base. #LYKOREVIEW #dependgeliq - 1 month
