At-Home Toning/Cutting
It wasn't easy to distribute evenly in a short time, so it took a good while just to get the actual toning in. I let it sit for about 30 minutes, so total it was probably around 1 hour. I had no idea what to expect, but I was super pleased! I wanted a cooler brown shade that was on the chocolatey side, and it feels like it turned out exactly that way!Translated from swedish

- Hairdresser at Lyko5 hoursHey Mellie! 👋🏼 This color contains blue tones (ash), and if you apply blue to yellow hair, it can sometimes give a green tint. To tone down golden tones, it's best to use purple/violet pigments 😊 I recommend our hair color test, it makes it easier for us to guide you to the perfect shade! ✨💇🏼♀️ You can find the hair color test here! lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan/harfargstestet Have a great afternoon! 🌸

Frozen sand
Very nice color, I used it on natural hair with highlights that have become too warm and yellow. The color I got reminded me of a cold «Milk Tea», but after 4 washes, quite a bit of the color is gone. A big plus is that it doesn't smell like anything, and it didn't irritate my scalp. Even though a lot of the color washes out quickly, I will try this brand again. #lykoreviewTranslated from norwegian

Frozen sand
This color is really pretty on my dark blonde hair that has a bit of yellow tips! But unfortunately, it washes out sooooo quickly. I wash my hair 3 times a week due to oily scalp, so after 1 week it's basically gone. I really wish it lasted longer.Translated from swedish

Make the hair purple
I used this on freshly dyed hair which doesn't work so well, it's very strong and it only takes a few minutes for it to turn the freshly dyed hair purple and it stays in for several weeks. I recommend Garnier's bleaching if you actually want to get rid of the yellow and not have a purple regrowth.Translated from swedish

Like a silver shampoo
I think the result turned out well in the lengths and felt gentle on the hair. I had it in for 15 minutes in the roots/regrowth and then in the lengths for the remaining 15 minutes according to the instructions for colored hair (I have highlights). However, I still have a warm spot left from when I tried to lighten my regrowth at home last summer with LA HAIR sunkissed. I thought this toning would help better than silver shampoo, but nothing seems to work. Can someone please give tips?Translated from swedish

Color?
Hi, I want to use the color 5.1 cafe macchiato in the lengths. I have some gray hair in the roots, and I want to dye the roots a shade darker (I've heard that these hold better in gray hair). Would you recommend 5.0 Cocoa bean or 4.0 cafe americano for the roots?Translated from norwegian
2794 views- Hairdresser at Lyko1 monthHey Benedicte! I haven't seen a picture of your hair yet - but that sounds like a plan! 4.0 alone is one shade darker, so you can definitely use it alone as well. It will be a bit more muted if you mix it with 5.0 👋🏼 Have a nice day!
