    At one point between my 20s and 30s, I really struggled with blackheads. And then I discovered this product. Not only did it not dry out my skin, but it also moisturized it. After a few weeks, the blackheads disappeared, and my skin was definitely much better! The whole package lasted me at least 7 months, using this product on my face every day. Definitely good quality and efficiency!

    excellent deep cleansing cleanser

    I don't use this every day, as it feels a bit too drying for my skin, so I use it a few times a week in addition to/instead of my normal double cleansing. I love using this especially after a clay mask - the last impurities disappear from my face with this. Especially if the clay mask primarily "pulls" the impurities from the pores to the surface, this product cleans them out thoroughly. I often also wash my neck, décolleté, armpits, and intimate areas in the shower, as salicylic acid seems to work perfectly for cleaning those areas, especially the ones I plan to shave! 😊

    Unfortunately didn't work for me

    The product caused tight skin and an allergic reaction. I have had a similar reaction before with SPF from CeraVe, so I think no products from this brand work for me.

      Hey there😊 Thanks for the feedback, this contains active ingredients that can be irritating for some skin types! Maybe a gentler cleanser would suit you better. It might also be wise to see a dermatologist if you react to multiple products as it could be something you are allergic to🌸

    How to use correctly

    So im planning on purchasing: blemish control cleanser Blemish control gel Resurfacing retinol serum How should I use these correctly? What order? Should I swap any product with another one from cerave? I have acne, lot of blackheads, pimples and bumps! Will this help?

      Hi Nadja 😊👋 Both the cleanser and the blemish gel contain BHA. The cleanser can be used a few times a week to exfoliate the skin, but using it daily might be too much. Exfoliating with this type of cleanser one to two evenings before applying retinol can help boost the effects of the retinol, but this also depends entirely on your skin type, age, and sensitivity. Retinol also isn’t usually recommended during summer, as it can increase the skin’s sensitivity. The gel shouldn’t be combined with retinol either, as that might be too harsh. Instead, it can be used as a spot treatment when needed, on separate days or at different times.       Hey Amal✨ Just like you mentioned, it can be too harsh on the skin since it’s already exposed from using Basiron, and this CeraVe cleanser is exfoliating. It’s also good to keep in mind that Basiron shouldn’t be used without a doctor’s prescription (even though it’s over-the-counter) as this can make the skin sensitive in the long run 👩🏻‍⚕️ Instead, use a moisturizing and supportive cleanser like this one for example: lyko.com/sv/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-toleriane-foaming-gel-double-cleanser-400-ml 💙 Hope my answer can be helpful and that you have a lovely day🌞
