The last #lykoinflutester assignment of the year is this series from L'oréal, and here are my thoughts on the mask, first a bit of info about my hair: • My scalp gets oily quickly, but the lengths are a bit dry. • Thin and lacks volume. • Losing quite a bit of hair. • I dye my hair at home, about every 6 weeks. • Hard municipal water. I initially found it a bit confusing that you shouldn't use any conditioner but this mask instead. From what I understand, this mask is a bit more effective than a regular conditioner and is probably needed since the feeling after shampooing is a bit detox-like (even though the shampoo isn't a pure detox shampoo). About the product: • Jar with a screw lid, not my favorite packaging in the shower. • Creamy, thick, and "cozy" consistency. Feels like a hug for the hair! • The scent is a minus for me. This citrus/lavender/"hay" thing is a real divider - you either love or hate the scent. • Short application time - big plus! However, better effect with longer application time. • Feels gentle but effective! • A little goes a long way. I accidentally (as usual) took way too much the first time, but then I noticed my hair felt heavy. The result: • Leaves hair soft and manageable. • With the right dosage, it doesn't weigh my hair down. • Leaves a nice shine, smooth, and no frizz. • As I mentioned about the shampoo, my hair gets oily faster, but I think that's due to the shampoo, not the mask, since I only have it in the lengths. Would have given five stars if it weren't for the scent and the bulky jar with a screw lid. The mask itself is super! #lykoinflutester #lorealpro

Works well, but smells strong!
I have thin Nordic hair that is a bit bleached at the ends. Before I started testing the Metal DX series from L’Oréal Professional, my hair was dry and frizzy. It needed both moisture and shine. The hair mask comes in a classic jar that looks nice. It is economical in use and easily settles in the hair. If you have thin hair like me, I recommend being careful with the amount of product and ensuring it is thoroughly rinsed out. The product is so liquid that I personally would have preferred it to be in a bottle, as that would have made adjusting the amount during application easier. As mentioned in the title, the mask works very well for my hair type. I found that it became shinier and healthier. But.. and this is a big BUT, the entire Metal DX series smells, according to my partner and several of my friends' feedback, veeeery strong!! I simply had to give up testing after a week and a half, as I felt like I was walking around smelling like a men's wardrobe. The series smells very similar to Axe body spray for men, not a scent I personally prefer to be associated with. (I received several comments on this, without anyone knowing I had these products in.) So despite good results on my hair, I can only give it two stars, as the smell became way too intense. #Lykoinflutester #LorealPro

Very efficient
The Metal Detox mask is one of those masks I regularly come back to 🤍 Already after the first use, hair is noticeably smoother, softer, and looks much healthier ✨ Smooths hair wonderfully and reduces frizz, ✨ deeply moisturizes without weighing down, ✨ makes hair soft and bouncy, ✨ adds a beautiful shine, ✨ makes detangling easier, ✨ hair is easier to style afterwards, ✨ helps maintain a nice look after coloring, ✨ very efficient, a small amount is enough for the whole hair. Hi, does the mask have UV protection? I'm thinking about summer with lots of sun and swimming. I have very blonde hair and don't want to damage it. Is it a good combo to buy the shampoo and the hair mask? Or is the hair mask enough? Especially if you're going abroad ☺️

Amazing!
I am truly impressed by this hair mask! I have long used True Soft from Maria Nila and been satisfied, but Metal DX exceeded my expectations by far. Already after the first use, my hair felt incredibly soft, smooth, and significantly less frizzy. What I especially appreciate is how quickly it works – just about a minute is enough to get a really good result, which is perfect for a busy everyday life. The scent is also very pleasant without being too strong. The hair feels both moisturized and strengthened afterwards, without being weighed down. In summary, this is a new favorite in my hair care routine – I will definitely continue to use it!
