Steep price, but worth the money
Olaplex Dry Shampoo – The best I’ve ever tried! ✨ After testing Olaplex's dry shampoo for 4-5 months, I can confidently say this is the best dry shampoo I’ve ever tried! 🙌 I have thick hair with coarse strands and a tendency for a dry and itchy scalp – especially in winter. Previously, I often reacted to cheaper dry shampoos: they made my scalp irritated, and I had to wash my hair and use scalp oil to get it back in balance. Additionally, my hair often felt flat and greasy after just 3-4 days, which meant I had to wash it earlier than planned. With Olaplex? Completely different results! 🙏 I can go a full 5-6 days without washing my hair, and my scalp doesn’t itch at all. This is a game-changer for me, as I’ve struggled with products that don’t match my hair type. Here’s what I like best about the product: ✅ No white residue – works just as well on both light and dark hair. ✅ Mild scent – almost nothing, which is a huge plus. ✅ Perfect volume and refreshment without making the hair greasy or flat. One small thing to note is the price – it’s quite high, and the product could be a bit more economical in use. To get the most out of it, you need to "practice" a bit with the amount: use less than you think, and let it sit in your hair before massaging it in with your fingertips. Once you find the right technique, the bottle lasts longer. The picture below shows my hair 3 days after washing, after I used the dry shampoo before styling and curling. The result speaks for itself, I think! 😍 All in all: Highly recommended, but slightly deducted due to the price. 🫧 A dry shampoo that really feels fresh!
Olaplex No.4D Clean Volume Detox Dry Shampoo is truly the kind of dry shampoo I like to have at home when my hair starts to feel a bit greasy but I don’t want to wash it right away. It’s so nice to be able to freshen up the hair and at the same time get back some of that just-washed feeling. 🤍 What I like most is that the hair feels cleaner and fresher after use without me having to use a lot of product. I also think it helps to add a bit more volume and air to the hair, which is a big plus when hair otherwise easily feels flat. I really like the feeling of being able to spray a little at the roots, massage it in, and then style as usual. It’s easy and above all very convenient in the morning when you don’t feel like washing and blow-drying your hair from scratch. 😂✨ Another thing I appreciate is that it doesn’t feel like a classic dry shampoo that just lays a thick layer of powder on the scalp. For me, it feels much lighter and fresher. This is definitely a product I would keep close at hand for those days when the hair needs a quick refresh. Perfect before school, work, a spontaneous coffee, or when you simply want to postpone washing your hair a bit. 🥰 I also like that the hair can still be styled afterward and doesn’t feel completely stiff. That makes the product even more usable. For me, this is a really good dry shampoo when I want fresher hair, a little extra volume, and a quick solution between washes. Worst purchase ever
This does absolutely nothing and really deserves a complaint. The hair looks exactly the same after use, so you might as well not use it. It's also expensive, and I can't imagine it being economical to use (if you were to use it up, it will probably end up in the trash). Really a bad buy – not recommended. I've used Maria Nila's powder for many years and thought I'd try something new, so I ended up with this. I actually like all products from Olaplex and am therefore very surprised by the quality of this one. I've tried applying it in different ways, close, further away, letting it sit, massaging it in, and using more or less product, but the result is the same – no difference. It does what it’s supposed to!
Perfect size to take with you everywhere to freshen up your hair. Very nice feeling on the scalp from this. It doesn’t get stiff, it doesn’t start to itch & it doesn’t feel like you have anything in your hair. That’s a problem I’ve had with other dry shampoos I’ve tried. I give this 5/5 stars: worth its price.
