I have as #LYKOINFLUTESTER tested this heat protection from #WATERCLOUDS Waterclouds Instant Heat Protection is a heat protection spray that both protects, cares for, and detangles hair without weighing it down. The formula is light, smells incredible of watermelon, and gives a soft, supple feel without any stiffness. 🍉 The product is aimed at all hair types and contains argan oil, provitamin B5, proteins, and UV protection – ingredients that protect against heat and work for healthier hair. Hair becomes soft, shiny, and it prevents frizz, making hair feel smoother, healthier, and easier to style when blow-drying or curling. 🙋♀️ I have dry and heat damaged medium long hair. It is not treated in any way. My hair is naturally wavy and it’s very thin/fine so it gets damaged and dry at the ends very easily. I use hair straightener almost daily. 📦 The packaging It’s a very simple white plastic spray bottle. 👀 The texture and looks This product is watery consistency, transparent in color. 👃 The smell I like the smell. I think it smells like watermelon and reminds me of summer. The smell lingers in the hair so if you’re scent sensitive, this is not for you. 🤔 My opinion When I used this product for the first time I noticed that the spray bottle isn’t distributing mist of this product over my hair very well. It felt more like I’ve been hit by a water pistol into my skull when I spritzed this onto my hair... 🔫😅 I don’t think this managed to distribute over my hair as much as I would like and thus didn’t give effect that it should (which would be equal heat protection all over my hair). I didn’t use a lot (honestly didn’t wanna shoot my head with this too many times), but it did leave my hair soft and glossy. It didn’t weight it down. But I honestly cannot judge it fairly because as I said, I don’t know did I manage to cover majority of my hair or not because of the spray. I think if the spray distribution is fixed, it could be a really good and nice product, with a decent price. Great product, but bad packaging!
A good heat protectant is always important, but it's harder to determine in a short time whether it actually works or not😅 I really like the scent and the product itself, I don't think it weighs my hair down, but feels fresh💕 What really brings the rating down is the spray, it's so strong! I want to be able to spray it so it covers my whole hair, but this one acts like a water gun and therefore only applies product to "spots" of the hair… I actually poured it into an empty bottle I had at home to be able to use the product, because the bottle itself is not good at all☹️ If there was a change to the spray function so it became more of a mist, I would definitely buy it again! Great product, poor packaging
A heat protectant from Waterclouds that you should use after washing your hair, so in wet hair before styling! However, I have dared to use it in dry hair when I want to blow-dry my hair again for a styling with a hairdryer, which has also worked great! ✅ Doesn't weigh the hair down ✅ Doesn't leave a film ✅ Hair doesn't feel greasy ✅ Good price for a lot of product ✅ Doesn't make hair dry It’s of course hard to determine one hundred percent how good protection it has provided, but you can usually tell after several weeks/months? Right? But I think it has met all the criteria that I can feel during these weeks that I have had time to test it! ❌ What I can complain about is the spray function that doesn't give an even spray, but I solved it by instead spraying into my hand and then running it through my hair! Disappointed
I was unfortunately disappointed with this spray. It felt strong in scent and I didn't think it gave a good result at all. For me, it was the most unpleasant to use, so I wouldn't buy it again. Waterclouds Instant Heat Protection
I have as #lykoinflutester tried Waterclouds Instant Heat Protection for a while now, and here is my honest take. I have Scandinavian, medium-thick, and bleached (highlighted) hair that gets frizzy just thinking about humidity or looking at a hairdryer, so a good heat protectant is like A and O in my routine. The protection? It does its job – the hair feels less damaged after styling. But - and this is a pretty big but for me - the product can get a bit sticky if you happen to use too much. And since the spray nozzle is quite “hard” in the stream, it’s super easy to overdose without even trying. I would have wished for a softer distribution, then I would have liked the product much more. The scent? Totally okay! But it’s quite strong and lingers for a long time, so if you prefer more discreet scents, this might not be the right product. When you manage to get the perfect amount, the hair actually becomes really shiny and nice – so the potential is there! So my summary: ✨ + Good protection ✨ + Shiny result (if the dosage is right) ⚠️ – Sticky feeling with the slightest overdose ⚠️ – The spray doesn’t distribute the product so evenly ⚠️ – Strong scent It’s okay, but nothing I will buy again. I tested this product as #lykoinflutester #waterclouds and personally, I wouldn't buy the product again. Basically, it's always hard to know if a heat protectant spray does what it's supposed to, but here I just feel like my hair "burns" more than without. There's so much smoke coming from my hair when I style it that the smoke alarm goes off.. Good Heat Protection
As #lykoinflutester I had the honor of testing a product from #waterclouds😍And nothing less than Waterclouds Instant Heat Protection 150 ml 😍 Unfortunately, I don't have any nice video/photo that shows the result, but I will try to describe my review in words after I have tested this product😍🥰 I have previously used Waterclouds' other products and have always liked their products, but I have never tested the heat protection, so I was really looking forward to it! 😍 A bit about my hair: Dyed, thin, gets curly if I don't blow-dry or style it but let it air-dry, the hair is over the shoulders (so medium length). The result after I have tested during the testing period: Pros: - Good price and good size of the bottle - Very nice and light scent - Doesn't weigh down the hair and leaves no weird film - Hair is easy to style after using the product - Hair gets easier volume and shine - Has a detangling effect Cons: - The spray pump works a bit poorly - you expect a light mist to come out over the hair and spread easily, instead a strong stream comes out. However, it allows you to spray into your hands and distribute. So 4 stars because of the spray pump. I have tested Waterclouds Instant Heat Protect, and my impression is a bit mixed ✨ I like that the price is reasonable and that you get a good amount of product in the bottle, so it basically feels like a good purchase💸 The consistency is light and nice, and it doesn't weigh my hair down, which is important for me as I have fine Nordic hair. The scent is mild and pleasant, and that's a big plus since I use heat tools quite often✨ What brings it down the most is the spray. The stream is way too concentrated, so the product comes out like a wet «stream» instead of a fine mist💦 This makes it difficult to distribute evenly in the hair without it getting typically wet, and I felt I had to use much more than necessary. Nice and clear packaging. -But they need to come out with a new spray bottle. It’s heavy to spray with. A hard stream comes out with a lot of product. All in one place. Impossible to distribute in the hair without using A LOT of product. Completely exhausted in my hand from spraying so many times. The scent is very nice and mild🙌🏼 The hair feels incredibly good, (even with so much product) after use😅 Would 100% buy it again if the spray bottle gets changed. A bit too much pressure
I have tested Watercloud's Instant Heat Protection spray for a few weeks. The product itself is quite okay, but it pulls down a bit too much how non-functional the spray bottle is. The packaging is nice and sleek, which we like about Watercloud. The product smells light and good, and the consistency is light and not sticky. The hair is easy to style. What pulls down a bit too much is that the spray is way too hard. It is heavy for the hand to use, and the spray is way too hard and concentrated, making it very clumsy to distribute evenly in the hair. In addition, I simply get tired in my hands. My hair is medium-length, Nordic fine, which needs a lot of help to not become frizzy and damaged, especially now in winter. And what I like about the product is that it has good ingredients and properties that both protect and add shine. My hair became soft and nice and held the styling. But unfortunately, this will not be the first one I reach for in the bathroom cabinet as it is quite heavy to use. As #lykoinflutester I have been so lucky to test this instant heat protection spray from #waterclouds - which is Swedish produced💥 I have only heard about the brand before, but never tried products from it. I was therefore very excited when I was about to start the testing period 🩶 First, a little about my hair: Nordic, thin, flat; color-treated, hair loss & frizzy. When it comes to the packaging, the bottle is stylish and fresh 🧡 I liked it a lot! I started by applying the product to towel-dried hair before a light blowout. BUT when it comes to the spray function, I prefer a different type of spray function. It was a bit difficult to distribute evenly, so I chose to spray it in my hands and then distribute it through my hair while using. The scent is fresh and reminds me of a salon visit. So here you get salon care at home❕ It can be used with all heat tools. The heat spray is also suitable for all hair types, which is a big plus. It has several functions, including detangling, protective, and heat protecting. The formula contains proteins, provitamin B, argan oil, and other protective ingredients. These contribute to light volume & shine 🩶 Something I absolutely experienced with my hair, which is basically flat! At the same time, it has color-preserving properties and UV protection ➕ Watercloud is focused on adding moisture to keep hair healthy - this way you achieve smooth, strong, and fresh hair at all times of the year 🧡 Because who wants a stiff and brittle result when styling? Not me, at least! I find that the result is airy, shiny, natural, and fresh when using this 💥 It’s also budget-friendly - and now it’s on sale! I can absolutely recommend this as it does its job and is budget-friendly if you want to try a new heat protectant spray❕ But personally, I probably won’t buy it again based on my preferences. How to use:
