HICKAP Mermaid Mantle Deep Hydrating Toner is really one of those toners that I find especially lovely when the skin feels dry, tired, or just needs a little extra moisture. 🤍 I love skincare products that make the routine feel a bit more luxurious without it having to be complicated, and this one has truly become a cozy step in my skincare routine. I usually use the toner after cleansing and before serum and face cream. It’s a simple step, but I really think it makes a difference in the feel of the routine. I like to take a little product and work it into the skin and then continue with the rest of the skincare. ✨ What I like most is the hydrated feeling afterwards. When the skin feels a bit tight or dry, I like to use something that gives it more comfort, and this one fits very well. The skin feels softer and more hydrated and gets a nice, fresh feeling. I also think it works very well under makeup. On days when the skin feels a bit drier, I can use the toner as an extra moisture step before serum and cream. When the skin feels properly hydrated, I think the base applies much nicer and gets a more natural feel. 🌸 It’s also one of those products I like to use both morning and evening depending on what the skin needs. In the morning it feels fresh before the rest of the skincare and makeup, while in the evening it’s perfect when I want a slightly more pampering routine. I really like that feeling when you’ve done your whole skincare routine and the skin feels soft, hydrated, and almost a little “plumped.” It doesn’t have to be a lot of different steps for it to feel luxurious – sometimes a few products that really work well together are enough. 🤍 I also think toner is a very nice step when you want to make your skincare routine a bit more complete. Cleansing, toner, serum, and cream feel like a perfect combination for me when I want to give the skin a little extra care. HICKAP Mermaid Mantle has therefore become a product I like to return to when the skin needs more moisture.
