Works!
Have only used this for 3 weeks but see results. Use a good moisturizer at night, after the serum is patted in.Translated from norwegian

Weakened Skin Barrier
Hi! Can I use this together with EpiDuo to restore my weakened skin barrier?Translated from norwegian
75 views- Farmaceut på Lyko1 dayHey Jojo Nunu✨ This should not be combined with other active ingredients or Epiduo, so wait until you have finished your treatment, and when you feel that your skin is completely calm and restored, you can carefully try patch testing this serum to see how your skin reacts to it💜 Wishing you a lovely day!🌞

questioning this alleged research...
This is statistically speaking a pretty useless evidence with n=73, it would be interpreted as questionable research when the sample group is under 500? What was the confidence interval, now that the very small number of the sample group is being advertised - and what was the result? I am currently using Cosrx 6 peptide booster, Ole Henriksen truth serum and during the day drunk elephant protini cream followed by beauty of joson spf 50 - in the evening after my currentbody2 mask I use the same serums but Ole Henriksen Glow as night cream. My question now is, would this even help with the two sunspots I got afterwards, as a spot treatment or is it a bit irrelevant?Translated from danish
773 views- Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHey Shahnaz! 👋🤍 Thanks for your question 🤍 You are right that the study behind the Mela B3 serum has a small participant count, but the ingredients are well-known for working effectively against pigmentation spots – also sun spots. So it can definitely be worth trying as a spot treatment, but be patient, as results often take a bit of time 💛 It is specifically developed to work on uneven pigmentation and contains both niacinamide and resorcinol – two superstars when it comes to evening out skin tone 💫 It should work fine with your other products, and you apply it after cleansing and before cream, morning or evening – and remember sunscreen during the day 🙌 Take care! ☀️2 likes

Combine with other products
Can it be combined with Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Serum Unscented 60 ml, Purito Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack 80 ml, cica plastic from La Roche-Posay, Indy Beauty Superfood Hydrating Toner 150 ml, and with squalane from The Ordinary?Translated from swedish
861 views- Skin therapist at Lyko2 weeksHi! 😊 Ingredient-wise, I don't see any problem, but to get the most effect from the serums, I would recommend using the serum from LRP in one routine and the serum from Purito in another routine, preferably one in the morning and the other in the evening. The other products shouldn't be a problem. Have a nice day! 💌

Combine with vitamin C and retinol
Hi ☺️ I use the ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion about every other night and vitamin C and SPF during the day. How can I best incorporate this product for the best effect? Thanks☺️Translated from norwegian
1583 views- Skin therapist at Lyko1 monthHeihei 👋 Since the Mela B serum contains retinoids, I would absolutely recommend spreading the products out into their own routines/days so that you can avoid irritation and ensure the best possible effect 💪 🌞 Morning routine (every day): ✅ Cleanser ✅ Vitamin C (antioxidant, protects against UV rays) ✅ La Roche-Posay Mela B3 10 Serum (contains Niacinamide + Resorcinol, helps with pigmentation) ✅ Moisturizer ✅ SPF 50 (super important when using products for pigmentation!) 🌙 Evening routine (every other night with retinoid): ✅ Cleanser ✅ The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion (stimulates collagen production and reduces fine lines) ✅ Moisturizer 🌙 Evening routine (without retinoid – e.g. every other night): ✅ Cleanser ✅ La Roche-Posay Mela B3 10 Serum ✅ Moisturizer -See how your skin reacts: If you experience irritation, you can reduce usage. Wishing you a nice day ahead 👋4 likes

Hi!
I use differin every night. Can I use this serum in the morning?💕Translated from norwegian
1794 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHi, Thanks for your question! If you use Differin (adapalene) every night, it should generally be fine to use the Mela B3 serum in the morning. However, we recommend starting slowly and monitoring how your skin reacts, especially if you are combining multiple active ingredients. Also, always remember to use sun protection during the day when using products that can make your skin more sensitive. If you received Differin from a dermatologist/doctor, it is recommended to consult with them regarding combining it with other active ingredients as they know your skin😊 Feel free to reach out again if you have any more questions.1 likes

Hi
Can you use this in the morning if you use differin every night?💕Translated from norwegian
1594 views- Skin therapist at Lyko2 monthsHeihei 👋 While undergoing treatment with medications, it is important to avoid all active ingredients such as: retinol, vitamin C, and active acids. This product contains active ingredients and acids that are not recommended to be used while using Differin. The most important thing is that you complement with gentle base products that soothe, strengthen, and protect the skin until you finish the treatment and up to half a year after completing the treatment. This is because the skin barrier is weakened during treatment 🫶 Wishing you a nice day ahead 👋

Question
Hi! Can this be used in combination with Epiduo? Not both at the same time, but if I, for example, take EpiDuo every other night and this every other night?Translated from norwegian
2049 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHey there 🌼 Yes, you can combine La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Serum and Epiduo, but be careful as both are active products! Tips: 💌Use at different times: Mela B3 in the morning and Epiduo in the evening to avoid irritation. 💌Moisture: Make sure to use a moisturizer, as both products can be drying. 💌SPF: Use sunscreen daily, as the skin becomes more sun-sensitive. Start gently and adjust usage if the skin becomes irritated✨1 likes

Very good!
Really removes or lightens brown spots. Very good product! I do have a question for LYKO. You have set a recommended price that is an overprice when I look at other online stores. Your price, which is then supposed to be presented as below normal, is almost the same as many pharmacies. What makes you keep such high prices compared to many others? You probably have acceptable explanations, but as a customer, you are looking for the best prices, where you do not fit in. Thank you for a good site!Translated from swedish

With other ingredients
I just bought this, can I still mix castor oil into my cream even though I have this on my skin?Translated from norwegian
2268 views- Skin therapist at Lyko3 monthsHi Emmie It should be perfectly fine to combine this serum with an oil, but I would rather recommend that you switch to a customized richer moisturizer so you avoid clogging your pores with castor oil I’m attaching some tips here, maybe you’ll find a new favorite among these lyko.com/no/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-hyalu-b5-riche-cream-40ml lyko.com/no/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-nutritic-intense-riche-50-ml lyko.com/no/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-cicaplast-balm-b5--40-ml Wishing you a really great day ahead1 likes
