The consistency of the blush is really unique and a combination of powder and cream that is super easy to apply and blend. 👍🏻 The result is very natural, and you get a glowy sun-kissed look. I would describe the coverage as light to medium, but it can be easily built up for more intensity. I can definitely recommend the blush, especially for anyone looking for a natural finish. MAC Glow Play Blush in Big Diva Energy is truly one of those blush shades that makes the whole makeup feel a bit more fun. I love when blush not only adds a bit of color but can actually change the entire expression of a look. This one feels perfect when I want more color, energy, and a bit more of a statement vibe. ✨ What caught my attention is exactly the shade. Big Diva Energy is a color that really shows up on the cheeks, but I like that I can build up the intensity step by step. I usually prefer to start with a little and then add more until I get exactly the color I'm after. This means I can use it both for a simpler everyday look and when I want a more glamorous makeup. 🥰 I also think the Glow Play formula is really lovely to work with. It feels soft and almost a bit creamy even though it’s a compact blush. I really like formulas like this because they give me a bit more control when applying. It’s easy to blend and soften the edges so the color melts into the rest of the base. What I appreciate extra much is the fresh feeling on the skin. ✨ I want blush to make the skin look alive and not just lay a dry layer of color on top of the base. Here I think the result is very nice and makes the cheeks look fresher and more awake. I usually apply the blush high on the cheeks and blend it slightly upwards towards the temples. That immediately gives more dimension and does so much for the whole face. If I then add a little extra over the nose, I get that sweet, rosy feeling that I really like. 💗 MAC Glow Play Blush in Big Diva Energy simply feels like a product for the days when I want my makeup to have a bit more personality. It’s a colorful and fun shade but at the same time very easy to adjust depending on how much color I want. Natural Glow and Easy to Blend
I have quite fair skin with a neutral/cool undertone and skin that can easily get a bit dry at times. This blush has become a favorite because it gives a very fresh and natural glow to the cheeks. The formula is a bit different from a classic powder blush, it feels almost a bit creamy when you apply it. It's easy to build up and very simple to blend. I use it over light foundation or just skincare, and it applies nicely without emphasizing dryness. Overhyped
I was so excited about this since I've seen a lot about it on TikTok (the color a pinch of Marrakesh) and was a bit disappointed. It's not a worthless product, but I think it has a bit of weak pigment and doesn't give that glowy finish I was expecting.
