Will always be in my makeup bag!
I clicked home this concealer with points that I had here on Lyko and wow what a good concealer. My skin is dry/normal depending on the season and where I am (when I spend time in Spain, my skin becomes more normal, while in Sweden I am usually dry). I also have red areas on my face (especially around the nose) that I have had a hard time covering without it looking cakey or the red shining through. Since green is supposed to cancel out red, I thought I would try this concealer that has three different colors: - The red shade neutralizes blue areas, like under the eyes. - The green shade neutralizes red areas, like pimples or acne scars. - The beige shade can be used to brighten your skin or other shades in the palette. I definitely think it works! I chose to apply the green color on my nose (it's clearly visible in the picture that the red is hardly visible) and the red a little around the eyes. The product is creamy but does not slide around at all, it adheres nicely to the skin. I usually have light products on my face that don't cover much, but I find that this concealer covers super well and it doesn't get cakey at all! It is also not glowy, which is good since you want to cover different areas of the face, so glow can be applied later if you want it without it looking weird. The price is ridiculously good, it requires so little product that it will last a long time for me. Doesn't work for me now
I have used two jars of these before, but that was a few years ago. Back then, I thought it was a fantastic product that did its job. So when I had some points to redeem, I took the opportunity to redeem a new package last summer. But I don't know if it's my skin that has changed a lot with age, because now I can't get it to work. No matter how little product I use, it gets cakey and the product looks almost cracked on the skin. I have dry skin, but I always make sure to be really moisturized before I apply the product or put on makeup at all. I never had such problems with it before, but maybe it has to do with the fact that I was ten years younger back then. I even checked out Fanny's (Facebyf) tips about the product to see if it makes a difference for me, but no. Concealer with high pigmentation and thick consistency
This concealer has become somewhat of a classic, and it's easy to see why. With three different shades, a red to neutralize blue (think dark circles), a green for red areas (hello pimples!) and a beige to brighten; you get a tool that can be tailored to the skin's needs and the season. It's like having a mini-correction studio in your bag! Products have high pigmentation, but it is very thick in consistency which makes it hard to blend out. When I applied it under my eyes on the first try under foundation, I felt it took a long time to achieve a nice result (a lot of dabbing with a makeup sponge). And when I applied it on top of the foundation, the foundation almost came off because of the thick consistency. This made it look like I had “dots” of color in some places due to the high pigmentation and difficult blending..😕 For those with very dry skin or who want a lighter concealer for everyday use, it might feel a bit too much. I also wished for a different type of packaging, I found it a bit difficult to get the product out of the packaging. Good shades but difficult consistency
I received #Makeupstore Cover All Mix The Original for review. I have mostly tried the peachy and green concealer from the palette. I feel that the third light shade is a bit unnecessary since I use other products for highlighting. The red shade neutralizes the darkness under the eyes, and the green helps with redness around the nostrils and in the center of the face. The lightness of the shades suits my skin well. I apply the product with an eyeshadow brush to the necessary areas before other makeup. The consistency could be better. When it dries, it becomes a bit waxy. When I try to work this product on top of, for example, foundation, the products do not necessarily blend together. The concealer may start to move, especially with the brush, and there may be unblended patches left on the skin. I get the product to work by dabbing other products on top with a makeup sponge. My skin is especially very dry at this time of year. The product often does not settle evenly under the eyes or in other dry areas, even though I have focused on moisturizing my face. Warming the product with my finger helps a bit. Practical, compact, and long-lasting!
Let me first tell you a bit about myself, that I rarely use foundation and even less often concealer. So, I have maybe tried color corrector once or twice in my life. The reason for that is that I don’t really know how to use it, or at least that’s how I feel. However, I do have a need for it 😆😅. After all, I am a middle-aged woman whose face also shows dark circles under the eyes and other color variations. The first impression of the product is that it’s nice since it’s creamy, so you would think it would be easy to use. The packaging and compartments are also very small. You don’t need much of the product, but I’m wondering how I can take it out in a sensible way with my fingers without digging it out with my nails. 🤔 we will see ☺️😅 For my first try, I applied the color correcting darker shade under my eye and also the lighter skin tone to brighten under the eye. It actually brightened and looked relatively natural. So I managed to use it 🤩 in the next try I used the green on the side of my nose and elsewhere where I saw red, like salmon pink under the eyes, and again the light where I need brightening. Well, you can imagine how that went. And I also took videos & pictures 😅 (too bad I didn’t take any on the first try 😶) There are already many products on the list, and clearly, I didn’t manage to apply it sufficiently little, as it starts to settle after half a day. Even though everything is set with powder and still has setting spray on top. I realize that makeup can always be seen on the skin, but I don’t like the bumpy appearance that inevitably comes out at some point during the day. It can be seen, for example, on the cheeks, chin, and the center of the forehead. And for that reason, I generally don’t use makeup on my face. I think the product seems quite promising, even for me, who is definitely not used to using these. It just needs a little getting used to and learning. Now I have applied the product with my fingers because I thought that the warmth from my fingers would help in applying it and that I would get it on sufficiently lightly/thinly. The three mentioned colors are completely sufficient to cover the areas that need it. Due to its small size, it’s also easy to take along when traveling. At first, it felt difficult to take the product, but I came to the conclusion that precisely because of its small size, I don’t accidentally take too much. The product spreads relatively easily even with fingers, so the warmth helps with that. In the video, you can see how much I took and how far it goes, and it’s not completely thinly dabbed 🤭 Really practical and compact product that is easy to apply and does what it promises. #makeupstore #lykoinflutester

Light formula
I got to test this concealer trio, and it has become an obvious part of my makeup routine. The design is sleek and feels professional, and I like how easy it is to work with the three different shades for different needs. It works well to tone down both dark circles and to neutralize red areas and small blemishes. The formula is light and blends well into the skin without feeling heavy. It’s not full coverage, more towards light/medium, which I appreciate since I prefer a lighter formula. It also stays on all day without settling into lines or getting cakey. I have been testing Cover All Mix The Original from #makeupstore now for a few weeks! I struggle with dry skin, especially in the winter, so I was a bit worried about how the concealer would work for my face. But it was no problem, it has a very creamy consistency & applies nicely on the skin👌 I have mostly used the green shade to cover the redness on my cheeks as I struggle with rosacea & it "breaks" out more when it gets colder outside. I have also used the red shade under my eyes. Perfect Colors
I got to test this product and wow! It really does the job. I have the lightest shade and all 3 colors can be used on my relatively light skin tone. It is creamy and works perfectly to use both on its own if you use just a tiny bit of product. It can be used under makeup to provide more coverage without having to use a thick layer of foundation. I have a bit of redness around my nose and red spots from old pimples. The green shade evens it out perfectly as you can see in the picture. Also, I get dark/purple around my eyes, especially in the corners of my eyes towards my nose. I was happily able to test this #makeupstore concealer, and here are my experiences and final thoughts on the product👸🏻✨✨ In summary (TL;DR): 👉There should be more color options than just two 👉The product requires testing and a bit of effort to get it to work best for you. 👉A good, moisturizing skincare routine would be especially important before using the product 👉 The product may clump if too much is applied or it may emphasize dry spots ☃️My skin is quite dry, especially in the coldest seasons, and based on my experience, this product worked best when I applied it to my face with my fingers. The warmth of the skin helps the product to melt and settle more evenly. With a makeup brush, the product stuck more easily to the dry areas of the skin and emphasized the skin's unevenness. 🥲I was initially a bit unsure if all three shades would suit me, especially since there are only two color options. I would have also liked swatches of these options side by side. I use the orange shade the most, as it really brightens the under-eye area. The green and the lightest shade were too light for concealers, but I use the lightest shade specifically for detailed highlighting, and it works well for that. Favorite product for acne and dark circles
This product has become one of my absolute favorites! I have acne and dark circles, and this works really well both under makeup and just on its own. The consistency is what you would call creamy and easily buildable, especially for dark circles you should apply a little at a time, as the skin there is so thin. The product does not dry out my skin at all, which is a big plus. I have used this before and one jar lasted me several months, so the price is really spot on. I don’t use the lightest shade in the palette, as it is a bit too yellow for me, but otherwise the shades work really well. The only small downside is that the palette is only available in a couple of different shade options, so this may not necessarily fit perfectly for all skin tones. But for me, the product has worked excellently, it doesn’t smell like anything, which is perfect for my sensitive skin. I highly recommend it! Easier to work with formula
Convenient packaging with three colors of concealer. The compartments in the packaging were very deep, so if I forgot my brush, it would have been hard to get the product out. The formula feels just right in coverage, soft, and easy to work in. The creamy formula applies very nicely on the skin, and I can adjust the color depending on which area I want to cover. The concealer doesn't crack as much under the eyes as others and holds well throughout the day. I have dry skin and am therefore often very cautious with concealer. However, I like to cover a small scar, stretch marks, and dark circles when I do a full makeup. For that, this palette works perfectly, and I find that it stays without cracking.
