I bought and tested this new bronzer from Catrice and I really like the formula, very easy to blend and it blends nicely, no streaky areas, just easy and even which I love ❤️ The downside is that this shade turns out very cool and almost gray on me, and it works better for sun contouring, which I will use it for. I will buy a shade up from this and test ❤️ I will get back with the results on that 😍 In the picture, I used the bronzer all over my face but went over with very little powder bronzer, in reality, I saw how gray it was unfortunately. Melted Sun Liquid Bronzer 005 Tan Lines
✨ Update: I've actually started to really like this after choosing to try it again the past few days, I actually like it better than the one from Technic that I mentioned in my first review 😅 I think maybe the reason it was patchy before was because my skin was much drier since I was on a treatment with Skinoren (azelaic acid), so it probably stuck more to the dry areas. Now it's been several weeks since I stopped using Skinoren, so my skin is more balanced in moisture and now the contour applies evenly and nicely. I especially like the cool tone, since I am so pale, contour often gets too warm for me even though they are labeled 'cool toned'. So I choose to give it 5 stars instead of 3 🫶✨ This contour has a nice gray-brown, cool color. In the pictures, I placed it next to the Technic Contour Stick in the shade Fair Cool for comparison. For info, I have very light skin and a neutral undertone. I really wanted to like this, but on larger areas like cheekbones, forehead, and nose, it quickly becomes patchy 😩 When I try to buff it out with a brush, it easily disappears and becomes uneven. It's also hard to get it to look properly contoured – it can quickly look more dirty-like 🫠 But! 🥹 I like to use it on smaller areas where I can gently blend it out with stroking motions – like on the brow bone, jawline, and a bit down from the front part of the cheekbones to give a slimmer look to the face. Since the color is so cool, it's easier to apply as a shadow in these areas without it looking unnatural. For larger areas, I prefer the Technic Contour Stick, which blends much more evenly and lasts better throughout the day. I might have gotten a shade that’s a bit too dark, or the product should be applied with a different brush, as it leaves small spots on my skin. The shade was 025 beach please. No scent and the packaging is intact.
