New favorite in the budget category!
I was really positively surprised by this setting spray! It makes the makeup blend so nicely with the skin and gives a natural, healthy glow without feeling heavy or sticky. What I especially like is that it contains niacinamide high up on the ingredient list, along with several forms of hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and aloe. It feels like it not only sets the makeup but also gives the skin a hydrated and fresh finish. 🩷 The longevity is also really good! The makeup stays nice throughout the day while the skin still looks alive, not matte or dry. For the price, I actually think this competes with much more expensive setting sprays. If you want a setting spray with good longevity and a nice glow without breaking the budget, this one is definitely worth trying! I am super satisfied with Maybelline Grippy Setting Mist! It feels light and moisturizing on the skin and does not leave the face dry or tight. What do I think? ❤️ I'll be honest – I was quite skeptical about this setting spray since I already had a big favorite at home. I've tried many before, but none had beaten my favorite. That's why I was extra surprised when I tried this one. Wow! For the first time in many years, I've actually found a new favorite. 😍 It smells nice without being too strong, feels light on the skin, and gives a really nice glow. The best part is that the makeup really stays in place for a long time without the skin feeling sticky. I've tested it in several different situations: at home all day, wore it for 12 hours while at work with heat tools and hairdryer nearby, during cycling and shopping, and when I went out partying & wore makeup for 12 hours. I also had glitter and stones/sequins on my face, which can easily start to come off in the evening – but everything stayed put! ✨ I even tried showering while wearing makeup. Water splashed on my face, but the makeup barely moved. Afterwards, I still had lots of glow and radiance. 😍 I feel hydrated and glowing, while the makeup stays in place all day. For 169 SEK, I really think you get a lot for your money. This will definitely be a setting spray I continue to buy. Best setting spray
I’ve been trying the Maybelline Grippy Setting Spray, and I’m loving how lightweight and fresh it feels on my skin. Even on a bare face, the mist feels cooling and comfortable without feeling sticky or heavy. And when I use it over makeup, it helps everything look more fresh, smooth and put together while keeping my makeup in place for longer. Good setting spray with really good staying power!
I have tested Maybelline Grippy Setting Mist several times and am positively surprised. The makeup stays nice all day and gets a nice, light glowy finish. The skin doesn’t feel dry or sticky after application. It’s also economical, you don’t need many sprays. The handy size makes it easy to carry in your bag, and the packaging is also sleek. The only negative is the spray, which feels somewhat harsh and more like a shower than a fine mist. Despite that, it’s very affordable and I could buy it again. Keeps makeup in place!
I have tested Grippy Setting Spray every day for a whole week and it really keeps the makeup in place! 💄✨ A good setting spray at a reasonable price 💰 The makeup blends very nicely and gives a lovely glow. The formula feels non-sticky, which I really like! 🤍 However, I think the spray gives off somewhat "large" droplets and I would have preferred a finer mist. I also experience that the skin can feel a bit tight and dry during the day, so it might not be the best if you want a really moisturizing feeling. ✨ First impression Cute, very pink bottle 😂 Interesting when you shook it that it kind of gathered like bubbles inside. The scent, however, reminds me of Proffs hairspray 😋 🍁 About me and my preferences I have dry skin on the sensitive side, can react with redness/burning to too strong products. I use setting spray daily. Usually apply it once after I’ve applied the base before I’m completely done with my makeup and then lastly as a finish. I also spray on my brush after I’ve taken eyeshadow with it to make it more durable and pigmented on the eyelids. 🏵️ My thoughts, preferences, and experiences My dry sensitive skin handled it very well! 😍 Even my eyelids when I sprayed the brush before applying eyeshadow, and I can very easily react there otherwise. I definitely see that it does what it’s supposed to, the makeup really stays in place! The gel-to-mist spray function makes it very easy to distribute evenly over the face!
