If you are looking for a lip stain that will not budge, then you will love this! It looks like a whiteboard marker, or like a felt tip eyeliner. The tip is extremely sharp and you can get a very precise line with this. You can also use the flat side of the pen to cover large areas. I have the shade 01 Everyone's Nude Pink. I am very pale, so on me it looks like quite a dark cool toned red/pink, that fades into a more natural pink color. I added a few videos to give you an idea. Once it dries it's not going anywhere. I even showered with this on! You can remove a little bit of the colour with micellar water, but a stain will still remain. It does feel really drying on the lips, l can't lie. It almost makes the lips feel "tight" so please use a balm or lip oil after this! Some stains only cling to the dry bits in the lips, but l find that this one applies uniformly and looks good even on dry winter lips. Like with a lot of Essence products, the quality you get for such a low price is just insane. Strong color 😱
I received my Essence Tattoo lip liner, 01 Nude Pink today. So it was good to apply, but wow - no "nude" here!! It is really super bright pink!! Lasts insanely long
Of all the lip stains available from Nyx to Huda Beauty, this one is actually the best. I really wish there were more colors. This one doesn’t need to be stored upside down to prevent the tip from drying out, it lasts over 12 hours, I think the applicator tip is good but could be a bit rounder. For the price, it’s a great product. The colors are really nice and last surprisingly long. I've tested both in shades 01 and 03. The tip is firm, so it's easy to create precise lines, and it doesn't dry out like many other lip stains. Love it!!
Really so good! When I go to bed in the evening, I still have a bit of liner left and it seems to withstand pretty much anything! However, it takes a bit of technique to get it even and not blotchy. Others are right that it leans towards the purple side (the color make a mauve) if you apply a lot. I apply a suuuper thin layer of (the also completely unshakable) Maybelline Lifter Liner in Line Leader, so it becomes a bit more neutral.
