🤎💋 A lip liner I really understand the hype about!
I have really fallen for the NYX Professional Makeup Slim Lip Pencil in Espresso! This is exactly the type of lip liner I like to carry with me all the time because it can really do more for the lips than you might think. 🥹✨ The first thing I love is the color. Espresso is a deep, warm brown shade that gives the lips so much more definition. I especially think it’s perfect when I want to create that slightly more defined, full look without it feeling overdone. 🤎 I usually start by gently following my natural lip contour and then fill in a bit towards the center. The nice thing is that I can also smudge the line a bit and use the pencil as a base under gloss or lipstick. That way, I get a much more intense and long-lasting color. 💋 What I like most is how easy it is to change the whole lip look with just one pencil. A little over the contour and I immediately get a fuller impression. A softer application and it becomes perfect for a more natural brown lip. The formula also feels easy to work with. I think the pencil gives good color without me having to press hard, which makes it much easier to get an even contour. 🤍 And Espresso is really such a shade that I think goes incredibly well with nude lipstick and gloss. A little gloss on top and you instantly get that really nice, shiny 90s-inspired vibe. 😭✨ I also like that the pencil is so handy to have in the makeup bag. It takes up almost no space, so it’s easy to bring with you and touch up during the day. The only small downside is that I wish it were a bit creamier, especially if the lips are dry. Then I think it looks best to apply a thin layer of lip balm first. But overall?
