✨👁Sky high, baby👁✨
So we're doing another #LykoReview, this time a mascara I've seen so much of that it was time! 👀 My lashes are pretty long, but light so they don't show up unmade. 😅 But they are also terribly straight, so I really need the lift 👫 The tube is pretty, modern, and overall Maybelline New York 😉 The brush is a rubber variant with small spikes that easily separate the lashes to avoid clumpiness 🙌🏻 I chose the mascara in black, it covers well and I was surprised by its creation of both volume and length-definition 🤩 Another plus is that it doesn't transfer, neither on the eyelid nor below 👼 Trust me, it's a HUGE achievement for my hooded eyes 😳 👁Summary👁 ➕ The brush ➕ Doesn't transfer ➕/➖ The price I can see myself buying another when this one is finished, it gives me exactly what I need 🥤

Can't get the lashes to stay up
I was really excited to try this because the waterproof version is my go-to mascara! The brush is really nice to use since the "hairs" on the brush aren't too long, so you avoid applying too much product and getting a clumpy result. The lashes are well separated, and you can easily apply multiple layers without them sticking together. It dries quickly on the lashes but holds up well in the packaging and doesn't get ruined quickly. The only negative for me is definitely that this makes my lashes fall as soon as I apply it, so to speak. Now I also have lashes that are very light and struggle to hold a curl. The waterproof twin sister will probably remain my favorite. #lykoinflutester #MAYBELLINE

Recurring favorite!
A favorite that I almost always go back to because I think the lashes look incredibly nice with this! Easy to keep the lashes separated and thin but also easy to build up if you like to have a bit more on the lashes. Easy to wash off with the right cleanser!

Moral Question
I have always used this mascara, it must be 10 years since I bought it the first time. The formula is super good and it gives both volume and length. BUT… some time ago I decided to only buy cruelty-free products and unfortunately Maybelline is not one of them. Which is a shame considering what a huge makeup company it is. Therefore, I will not buy this anymore, and I think this is a detail many might not know. As I said, a super good mascara but morality takes over in this case. #lykocommunity #makeup #smink #mascara

Magical Mascara
A magical mascara that works either for everyday use or for a night out. Lasts all day, with hardly any downsides except that it can clump with multiple layers, but for someone like me who only uses one, it works perfectly.

A definite favorite
Great mascara that I keep buying over and over. My lashes get a lot of length and volume. It feels light on the lashes and lasts a long time. I don't find it hard to wash off. I, who wear contact lenses and have sensitive eyes, have never experienced any irritation from this mascara. The lashes look really beautiful. 🖤

Not my favorite!
Unfortunately, I wasn’t sold and don’t understand the hype. I find that it clumps after several layers, and on my lashes, I don’t really get the wow effect that many talk about. I think there are other mascaras that give me more volume and a nicer result. Compared to my favorites, this one feels a bit like “oh... is that it?” 😅
