✨👁Sky high, baby👁✨
So we're doing another #LykoReview, this time a mascara I've seen so much of that it was time! 👀 My lashes are pretty long, but light so they don't show up unmade. 😅 But they are also terribly straight, so I really need the lift 👫 The tube is pretty, modern, and overall Maybelline New York 😉 The brush is a rubber variant with small spikes that easily separate the lashes to avoid clumpiness 🙌🏻 I chose the mascara in black, it covers well and I was surprised by its creation of both volume and length-definition 🤩 Another plus is that it doesn't transfer, neither on the eyelid nor below 👼 Trust me, it's a HUGE achievement for my hooded eyes 😳 👁Summary👁 ➕ The brush ➕ Doesn't transfer ➕/➖ The price I can see myself buying another when this one is finished, it gives me exactly what I need 🥤12904 views - Most helpful negativeThe user's roll: Lyko Creator. Can't get the lashes to stay up
I was really excited to try this because the waterproof version is my go-to mascara! The brush is really nice to use since the "hairs" on the brush aren't too long, so you avoid applying too much product and getting a clumpy result. The lashes are well separated, and you can easily apply multiple layers without them sticking together. It dries quickly on the lashes but holds up well in the packaging and doesn't get ruined quickly. The only negative for me is definitely that this makes my lashes fall as soon as I apply it, so to speak. Now I also have lashes that are very light and struggle to hold a curl. Not my favorite!
Unfortunately, I wasn’t sold and don’t understand the hype. I find that it clumps after several layers, and on my lashes, I don’t really get the wow effect that many talk about. I think there are other mascaras that give me more volume and a nicer result. Gives good length and volume
But I felt that the mascara was a bit too "wet" when I first started using it. That made it difficult to get an even and good result. My Best-Selling Product!
I really love this one; it is without a doubt my favorite mascara, and I have been using it for several years without even feeling the need to try another. I buy it over and over again because it always delivers the same fantastic results. The brush separates the lashes perfectly and gives both length and volume without clumping. I especially appreciate that it catches even the smallest lashes and gives a nice sun feather effect that opens up the eyes. The mascara also lasts all day without flaking or smudging. For me, this is a true classic that never lets me down. Affordable, easy to apply, and gives a result that looks both full and natural. Good but the color does not match the picture
The color does not match the picture at all. At least not on my lashes. It turns out more black than "burgundy", so that was a bit disappointing.
