So we're doing another #LykoReview, this time a mascara I've seen so much of that it was time! 👀 My lashes are pretty long, but light so they don't show up unmade. 😅 But they are also terribly straight, so I really need the lift 👫 The tube is pretty, modern, and overall Maybelline New York 😉 The brush is a rubber variant with small spikes that easily separate the lashes to avoid clumpiness 🙌🏻 I chose the mascara in black, it covers well and I was surprised by its creation of both volume and length-definition 🤩 Another plus is that it doesn't transfer, neither on the eyelid nor below 👼 Trust me, it's a HUGE achievement for my hooded eyes 😳 👁Summary👁 ➕ The brush ➕ Doesn't transfer ➕/➖ The price I can see myself buying another when this one is finished, it gives me exactly what I need 🥤1 product in post ✨👁Sky high, baby👁✨12491 views - Most helpful negativeThe user's roll: Lyko Creator. Can't get the lashes to stay up
I was really excited to try this because the waterproof version is my go-to mascara! The brush is really nice to use since the "hairs" on the brush aren't too long, so you avoid applying too much product and getting a clumpy result. The lashes are well separated, and you can easily apply multiple layers without them sticking together. It dries quickly on the lashes but holds up well in the packaging and doesn't get ruined quickly. The only negative for me is definitely that this makes my lashes fall as soon as I apply it, so to speak. Now I also have lashes that are very light and struggle to hold a curl. Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Black – incredible length without clumpy lashes
After a few weeks of use, I really understand why this mascara has become so popular. The slim and flexible brush reaches even the shortest lashes and separates them nicely from root to tip. Already with one coat, I get noticeable length, while two coats give more volume and an intense black result without feeling heavy. The lashes stay looking nice for a long time and the mascara doesn’t crumble under my eyes. The best part is how long and defined the lashes look. If I apply too many coats, they can start to clump together though. Gives loooong lashes but...
Okay, so here’s the deal: I’ve gotten hooked on mascaras that are brown/red and I was so happy when I could choose ✨️ burgundy haze ✨️ as #lykoinflutester. The mascara does its job, gives length and is easy to apply BUT I miss a bit of pigmentation? I don’t think I see a huge difference between this color and like a very dark brown mascara. I would also have liked it in waterproof so my long, straight d83e dea lashes would hold the curl. But you can’t have it all! I’m going to test it a bit more and definitely use it, I really like the concept of having a whole bunch of different colors to choose from. 😍 See the result and application in the video! Best product!
This is the best mascara, especially the waterproof one, you can cry, go through a snowstorm, heavy rain, and it stays on WITH curled lashes. It’s so amazing! Glitter mascara
Hard to capture on camera but looks really good live! One coat works nicely for everyday use 😍✨ doesn’t fall under the eyes, downside is it flattens curls a bit. I’ve had the chance to test the Sky high mascara from #lykoinflutester as a #maybelline! First and foremost, I have to praise the beautiful and distinctive packaging that has made the mascara almost iconic💅 I’ve tested Sky high before. Back then in a black shade and waterproof, which was definitely good, but something I dreaded washing off because it sticks like a MOUNTAIN🏔️ (both good and bad). This time I tested the Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara in the color Burgundy, and let me say it was better than I remember. Easy to apply with an incredible brush that reaches all lashes, doesn’t crumble throughout the day, and is very easy to wash off with just water!🚿 The only thing that lowers the rating a bit is that my expectations were for a clearer and sharper color than it had once dried. When dry, it wasn’t easy to see the burgundy shade clearly. Something the mascara should be praised for is its long-lasting wear throughout the day, the easy application, and how there were no issues when it came time to wash it off! As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test the Sky High Mascara in the beautiful brown shade True Brown, and I just have to say... this mascara never disappoints! 😍🤎 I've actually been using Sky High since it came out in 2020, and it's still my number 1 mascara! ❤️ I've tried many others over the years, but always end up going back to this one. Usually, I only use waterproof mascara because I have very sensitive eyes🥹, so I was a bit curious about this one. But it really impressed me! 🤎 The color is so nice and natural, and it fits perfectly whether you're going to work, out to eat, or just want a softer look. What I love the most is that it gives long lashes with lots of lift, while keeping them looking nice all day long. 🫶🏼 A little tip from me if you want to avoid clumps: Use a clean brow brush and gently comb through your lashes both before and after applying the mascara. Very disappointing
The mascara arrived extremely dry, as if it was already used or almost empty. I even tested it on the back of my hand, and it left virtually no product at all. The navy color is not visible, and even the brush appears to have almost no product on it. I had high expectations because I was really looking forward to trying a navy mascara instead of my usual black, so this was especially disappointing. When you find a product you just love, I feel like I don’t need to try anything else. Are there others like me? It separates my lashes, no clumps, they become so nice and long. Not waterproof but I don’t need that either. Love this one. And the price, so good! It does exactly what I want a mascara to do: It is really black, gives both length and volume, and makes the lashes look full without much effort. Something worth mentioning is that it can be a bit harder to remove than other mascaras. This can be both an advantage and a disadvantage, depending on what you are looking for. When the mascara is brand new, it can feel a bit thin in consistency. I actually think it gets better after a few uses, and after a couple of days it has the perfect consistency.
