So we're doing another #LykoReview, this time a mascara I've seen so much of that it was time! 👀 My lashes are pretty long, but light so they don't show up unmade. 😅 But they are also terribly straight, so I really need the lift 👫 The tube is pretty, modern, and overall Maybelline New York 😉 The brush is a rubber variant with small spikes that easily separate the lashes to avoid clumpiness 🙌🏻 I chose the mascara in black, it covers well and I was surprised by its creation of both volume and length-definition 🤩 Another plus is that it doesn't transfer, neither on the eyelid nor below 👼 Trust me, it's a HUGE achievement for my hooded eyes 😳 👁Summary👁 ➕ The brush ➕ Doesn't transfer ➕/➖ The price I can see myself buying another when this one is finished, it gives me exactly what I need 🥤1 product in post ✨👁Sky high, baby👁✨12568 views - Most helpful negativeThe user's roll: Lyko Creator. Can't get the lashes to stay up
I was really excited to try this because the waterproof version is my go-to mascara! The brush is really nice to use since the "hairs" on the brush aren't too long, so you avoid applying too much product and getting a clumpy result. The lashes are well separated, and you can easily apply multiple layers without them sticking together. It dries quickly on the lashes but holds up well in the packaging and doesn't get ruined quickly. The only negative for me is definitely that this makes my lashes fall as soon as I apply it, so to speak. Now I also have lashes that are very light and struggle to hold a curl. The comment was made 16 hoursHello Sofia, thank you for your review 🙏🌸 A few quick tips: wipe off excess on the tube’s edge, apply a thin layer and wait 20–30 seconds until it feels slightly sticky before the next layer, and comb through your lashes with a clean lash comb right after the first layer. Curl your lashes before application, avoid oily eye creams just before, and don’t pump the brush in and out of the tube — newly opened mascaras can also feel wetter the first few times. I've been so lucky to #lykoinflutester get to test this mascara from #maybelline for a few weeks now. I'm 35 years old and prefer a natural look for everyday, so I need a mascara that gives me a pretty but natural result. And preferably one that lasts all day! I think the design of the mascara is very nice. And the brush looks like it distributes the product evenly. I used an eyelash curler before applying the mascara itself. I find the mascara easy to apply and it gives long lashes with just one coat. It didn't take long to get a nice result and luckily I experienced little clumping. Below expectations
I had such high hopes for this mascara hoping to get really nice glittery silver lashes just in time for festival occasions! Unfortunately, it was really hard to get the color on the lashes and it felt like nothing was coming onto the lashes at all, needing to use a lot of pumps before it started to show on the lashes :( Tried both with black mascara underneath and without and didn’t think either was better! I love this mascara in the color black but in space Diamond I am not satisfied at all! I LOVE IT WHEN I FIND MASCARAS THAT DO WHAT THEY PROMISE😍 Length, volume, and a really black color, check, check, and check! The lashes also stay up all day and don’t droop. I don’t curl my lashes at all though, so I can’t comment on that. The brush had a good shape but the flexible handle was maybe a bit of a no-go for me. I like it sturdy so I can really pull against the lashes and not have it give way😄 But you get used to it quickly. This was easy to layer and the result didn’t get clumpy! But oh my, how hard it was to clean off if you got a mess on your eyelid!! Felt like nothing would come off and it left marks🥲 I was surprised how well you could see the color difference from normal black! Gold Glitz
I got to try this mascara from #lykoinflutester in the color Gold Glitz as a #maybelline 🌟 I expected a rose gold super glittery mascara, but unfortunately this mascara didn’t deliver that well. I’ve tested it both with and without black mascara underneath. And I layer this glittery product again and again, but it only seems to stick where there’s a really thick base of regular mascara. And even then, I think the glitter is minimal. I also think the color is more regular gold than rose gold, unfortunately! 🥺 You definitely get a little cute glitter on your lashes, and I will continue to use the product when I want to feel a bit more festive. But I expected more than what I got. Super mascara!
I really love this mascara from Maybelline. It works wonders for the lashes! My lashes get much more volume and length with the help of this mascara. But one wish would be for it to be waterproof, that is, an extra black mascara that is waterproof. The durability is very good, but I can experience that the lashes can lose their curl if you have used an eyelash curler, which I think a waterproof mascara would handle. I am a big fan of Maybelline's products overall and this one does not disappoint me! Good mascara!
Super good mascara that separates and adds length. Nice black color and it doesn’t dry out. Easy to work with and you can build a bit of volume, but I wouldn’t say that’s its main feature. Definitely worth buying if you prefer mascara that gives a lot of length. Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Black – incredible length without clumpy lashes
After a few weeks of use, I really understand why this mascara has become so popular. The slim and flexible brush reaches even the shortest lashes and separates them nicely from root to tip. Already with one coat, I get noticeable length, while two coats give more volume and an intense black result without feeling heavy. The lashes stay looking nice for a long time and the mascara doesn’t crumble under my eyes. The best part is how long and defined the lashes look. If I apply too many coats, they can start to clump together though.
