Long-lasting!
I have tried the Maybelline Superstay Teddy Tint Liquid Lip Tint shade 55 as a test pilot. Since I was looking for a medium coverage color, I liked both the soft, easy-to-apply consistency and the coverage level. Once applied, I experience the color as semi-matte to matte. I like the feel, it stays on well and lasts long and good over time without giving a dry feeling. The only small downside is that this product doesn't feel very economical, as a fair amount of product was needed to achieve the result I wanted. Sticky 😒😵
Expectations were high.. also here due to the end offer, so I bought elsewhere. Color is good, application is pleasant. But the feeling on the lips is TERRIBLE, sticky, lips stick together. 💕 A soft nude shade that goes with everything 💕
Maybelline Super Stay Teddy Tint in 90 Ribbon Tied is truly one of those lip products I like when I want color on my lips but still a soft and relaxed feel. I love nude and brown-pink tones that can be used with almost any makeup, and this shade really feels like a color I can easily come back to. 🤎✨ The first thing I was drawn to is exactly the shade. Ribbon Tied feels soft and neutral while giving the lips enough color to make the whole look feel more finished. I especially like it with a slightly darker lip liner when I want more definition, but it also works well on its own when I want to keep the makeup simple. I really like how easy it is to adjust the intensity. I can apply a thin layer for a more subtle everyday look or build up the color when I want the lips to stand out a bit more. 🥰 That makes it very versatile and not a product I can only use for one type of makeup. What I also appreciate is the soft feel on the lips. I want a liquid lip product to feel comfortable even when I’ve had it on for a while, and Teddy Tint feels lighter and more flexible than a classic heavy lipstick. ✨ I think it fits especially well with a slightly more “clean” makeup. A bit of foundation or tinted serum, concealer, blush, mascara, and then Ribbon Tied on the lips – done. 💕 It becomes a simple look that still feels well thought out. And the name Teddy Tint actually fits the feeling very well. There’s something soft and a bit cozy about the color, while it still feels modern and nice. I really like lip shades like this that don’t need to be perfectly matched with the rest of the makeup but just work. For me, it’s also a big plus that it’s so easy to bring along. It feels like a perfect product to throw in the bag when I want to be able to touch up my lips during the day or just have a color close at hand. Maybelline Super Stay Teddy Tint in Ribbon Tied has simply become a really lovely favorite for me when I want soft color, a nice nude feel, and a simple lip look. Superstay Teddy tint in the shade Current Mood from Maybelline ✨ I have several colors of these lipsticks 💄 & I like them all but this one in the shade Current Mood is my favorite! So pretty, apricot/pink color. It really delivers on its promise! 💁♀️ I put on the lipstick at 5:50 AM this morning and after work, a visit to the chiropractor, a run & a shower later, it’s still on at 9:50 PM🙈😂 That’s a really good test of durability, I think! 😳😱 (The picture is taken now, right after the shower) 🚿 💁♀️ It’s a bit thick & creamy in texture but once applied it dries quickly and lasts all day! Sticky and dry
I didn't think the product worked as a lip tint but only as a liquid lipstick. It was both dry and sticky at the same time, and when I tried to apply more, it just looked patchy. How to Use:
Step 1. Before application, make sure your lips are clean and hydrated. If you have dry, chapped lips start by applying a thin layer of balm to add moisture.
Step 2. Use the applictor tip to outline the shape of your lips with soft strokes.
Step 3. Swipe the applictor along the top and bottom lips to fill in color.
Step 4. If needed, apply again for more color.
