USE ONLY IF YOU'VE BLEACHED
I've read some reviews here about people being dissatisfied with the product when they're brunette and it's supposed to remove orange/red tones and it doesn't. I usually use blue shampoo when I've bleached my hair since I'm brunette and I don't get cooler tones from silver shampoo because I have too many orange/red pigments left. That's why I use blue as it removes those tones. So if you're brunette, I can't say if it works or not, but when bleaching if you want to get rid of the dark and orange tones this is fantastic! Did not neutralize the color at all
Did not help to remove my warm tones from my medium brown hair that leans towards copper at all. I used the product with a generous hand and let it sit for about 10 minutes, but no. It didn't even build up in the hair over time after several uses. Unfortunately, a total miss purchase. I give one star for the scent, which is really good in the product. I can't recommend it based on my experience, but I've seen that it has worked for some. 😊 I got better results just with silver shampoo.19333 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 yearsHi Sara, Thank you for your review! 🩷 I’m sorry to hear that the product hasn’t worked as expected in your hair! ❣️ The adhesion of the dyes can be affected by factors such as the condition of your hair, hair structure, or previously used color. If you want to try other dyes, these are my favorites, and there are many color options! lyko.com/en/four-reasons/four-reasons-color-mask-toning-treatment-latte lyko.com/en/wella-professionals/wella-professionals-color-fresh-mask-cool-espresso Have a lovely day! 😊🤍4 likes

Light medium brown with red copper
Hi, I dyed my hair on Friday from black because I wanted a more beige light brown color for the summer. I love the color, but the undertone is very copper and red. However, I don't want the hair to get darker or browner, but rather more towards beige light brown instead of red/copper light brown. Can this help with that? Will there be any change? And will it likely become cooler and thus more brown and dark, or more towards the beige light brown? Please answer as quickly as possible🌹226 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 4 daysHejsan!😊 This will tone down red and copper tones in the hair, but it does not lighten the hair or change your base color. I recommend using it about once a week, not at every wash, to avoid the tone becoming too cool or dark 🤍 It's a bit difficult to say exactly what result you will get without seeing your starting point, as it can vary depending on how the hair was originally colored. You are warmly welcome to send a picture to fraga@lyko.se so one of our hairdressers can help you find the right products based on your desired result 💌 All the best!

Uncolored Hair
Can I use this on uncolored hair? I have brown hair that tends to go orange. Can this work to neutralize that? Or is there another blue shampoo that works on uncolored hair?492 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 1 weekHello Elin! 👋 Great question! You can absolutely use a blue shampoo like milk_shake Cold Brunette Shampoo on uncolored hair, especially if you feel it leans towards the warm/orange side. However, the result can be a bit variable; it’s about 50/50 how much the pigment actually adheres to natural hair, as this type of product usually works best on colored or treated hair. I definitely think you can try it and see how your hair reacts and absorbs the pigments. Some people actually still get a nice, cooler tone even on uncolored hair ✨ The same generally applies to all blue or silver shampoos; the effect can differ from person to person depending on hair structure. All the best! 💛

Removes orange tones
Super nice shampoo that cleans the hair and makes it feel soft. For me, it has helped keep orange tones (from highlights) away. I normally have dark brown hair. Bought for the second time for me.2152 views - The post was made 6 monthsRating: 1 out of 5
No Result
I have used it as recommended but still have yellow tones in my brown hair. However, it smells good and makes the hair clean. Can you use regular silver shampoo on brown hair as well?🤔 It usually says “for blonde or highlighted hair” so I’m unsure if it will help. Grateful for tips🤗3875 views- The comment was made 6 monthsHey! Just wanted to tip that blue shampoo only removes orange/bronze colors from the hair. Purple shampoo works for yellow tones.4 likes

Doesn't work
The cold brunette series doesn't work at all on my hair. And my hair becomes bone dry. Not worth the money…5304 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 8 monthsHey Helene 🌟 Thank you so much for your feedback – it’s such a shame to hear that the Cold Brunette series from milk_shake didn’t work for you, and that your hair became dry. We know that hair products can be experienced very differently from person to person, and it’s of course frustrating when it doesn’t give the desired result – especially when you’ve invested both time and money 💸 If you’d like, we’d be happy to help you find other products that might suit your hair better 🌿✨ Just let us know – we’re here to help! Light brown hair with highlights?
Hi, I have naturally brown hair but have highlighted my hair at home and find that my hair is yellow/orange. I've tried both silver shampoo and conditioner but don't think it works. Would this product or other blue shampoos or conditioners work to get rid of the yellow/orange tones?5732 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Lightened Hair
Hi! I have lightened my hair from black and now I have this yellowish hair. At some point, there's a bit of orange. Should I try this product? Or something else?6070 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 yearsHi Ida, Thank you for your question! 🩷 This product is intended to neutralize the warm color pigments in brown hair, so I wouldn't recommend it for your lightened hair 😊 Hair should always be toned after bleaching, and silver shampoos are meant to maintain the color! In this case, since your hair is still darker in some areas, those darker spots should be lightened once more to achieve an even light color. I would recommend that this be done by a hairdresser, so the bleaching agent doesn't get into the already lighter sections and cause damage to the hair 🤍 However, if you do the bleaching and toning at home, here is an alternative toner if you're looking for a cooler result: lyko.com/sv/four-reasons/four-reasons-take-away-color-8.23-frozen-sand- (a bit darker, cool blonde) Also note that this requires a uniform light base, and it probably won't work with your current hair color 🥰 I hope these tips are helpful. Have a lovely Wednesday! 🌷🤍3 likes

For untreated hair?
6318 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 yearsHi Carolina It's hard to say how this product will lay in your hair. Generally, this type of product doesn't usually have an effect on untreated hair But if you have hair that easily absorbs pigment, it might be that it works. If you choose to try it, I would recommend using it for a little while first and then increasing the time if you want more effect. Take care!2 likes
