I had the opportunity to test some products from #Nioxin as a #lykoinflutester. I have thin, fine, typically Scandinavian hair that is dyed at regular intervals and suffers from chronic flyaway hair during the winter months. 🙃😅 I am definitely in need of more density in my hair, so this product was exciting to test! This serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. The recommended dose is 2-4 DROPPERS (not drops as it says in the description here) on the scalp every evening. I have to be honest and admit that I missed a few individual evenings during the testing period 🙈😬😅 This is the product that has the best scent in my opinion, not too much but just right and fresh. I find it a bit difficult to dose with the dropper, and would have preferred a spray nozzle. I press the dropper against the scalp and press gently to distribute a little everywhere. I think a month is too short a time to evaluate any significant difference, but I feel that my hair feels nice and airy right after use. I thought my hair would feel greasy after all these products, but I notice no difference compared to the "dicke-testing period". I will use the product up but will not buy it on my own. Why? Mainly because Nioxin unfortunately (!) is not cruelty-free, but also because the price tag is a bit steep considering how much product is needed and how quickly it runs out. Super night serum 💙🌙
I have been so lucky to be a #lykoinflutester and get to test products from #nioxin for a few weeks now! This is a brand I have never used before. First, a little about my hair: Nordic, thin, color-treated, hair loss & frizzy. As someone who is chronically ill and after going through pregnancy, my hair has an extra need for care and attention, especially in the winter months 🫶🏼 I was very excited when I started testing. Nioxin Night Density Rescue is a leave-in treatment that is clinically proven to increase hair density in 2 months, and I haven't used the product for that long. But I have already seen an effect in that my hair looks fuller! The hair serum contains a powerful blend of antioxidants, which are known to neutralize free radicals on the scalp's surface. This results in the scalp feeling both healthy & fresh 💙 At the same time, it is suitable for all hair types! For application, I followed the instructions on the product page at Lyko. I sectioned my hair and applied the specified amount with the pipette on the bottle, then I massaged it in with my fingertips. I finish by brushing through my hair, as it is NOT supposed to be rinsed out 💙 When it comes to scent, it is fresh and clean, and not as intense as the shampoo and conditioner. You can feel that the product is working on the scalp! The consistency is light and thin, and I do not experience getting an oily scalp. All in all, it is a good night serum, but it is difficult to assess the final result since it has not been used for 2 months at the time of writing. But I definitely see that it has had some effect so far! I think the price is a bit steep, hence one star off, and I am unsure if I will buy this again since I already have products from before that I am satisfied with. I have tested this serum from #nioxin as a #lykoinflutester and I don't really have any strong opinions. It's a nice serum, but I didn't notice any change, so it's not a product I want to continue with. My hair is typically Nordic, with fine hair strands. It's bleached at the ends and naturally colored from under the ear and up. It gets dry quickly at the ends, and can get greasy at the top with the wrong products. I have no issues with hair loss but lose hair like everyone else in periods. I like simple routines with few quality products that work, so I'm basically skeptical about whether I want a night serum in addition to my usual products😅 The serum is light and very liquid, I felt a bit like I was massaging water into my scalp. After using it consistently for a month, I see little to no effect. So the question arises, have I been massaging water into my scalp for the tidy price of 600kr? I'm not impressed, but the product itself didn't cause irritation, so that's good. For me, this is a step in hair care that I won't continue with.Translated from norwegian

As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to test the Night Density Rescue Serum from #NIOXIN. I have thin, colored Scandinavian hair that in winter gets oily at the roots and dry in the lengths. I have used the product for a few weeks, and according to the manufacturer's instructions, you should see results after two months. Therefore, I think the test has lasted a bit too short to really say what results I have gotten. But so far, I can conclude: * The product is very strong! You can feel it in the scalp when you apply it, and an hour after application, it itches in the hair. * I think the scalp becomes less oily when I have used the serum. * The scalp feels really fresh and clean, but might get a bit dry here in winter. * The hair feels airier against the scalp. I found it difficult to apply such a liquid substance to the scalp with a pipette. The first time it ran into my eyes, and it burned something awful! So I recommend caution before learning how to handle the pipette to get the right amount that stays in the scalp. The serum doesn't stick, but absorbs easily into the skin. The scent is just right, not as overwhelming as other products we've had in this test, which I think is a big plus! I don't want too much perfume on my scalp that irritates. Huge thanks to Nioxin & #Lyko for these lovely products 🩵 My hair type: Thin, fine Scandinavian colored, long hair. Dry, frizzy & in great need of moisture 💦 Stronger hair products that make a difference. I am really satisfied with these! Intensive, caring products that strengthen the hair & prevent broken hair strands. Protects the hair from breaking or getting damaged. Up to 97% fewer broken hair strands. Gives thicker, healthier & stronger hair. Leaves the hair easy to manage & soft. Clinically & dermatologically tested. Nice & handy plastic bottle. Refreshing hair serum that is used at night. Gives a lovely, burning sensation. Apply 2-4 pipettes to the scalp. Gently massage the serum in. Brush through the hair afterwards. Do not rinse out. Can be used on dry or damp hair. I have been testing products from Nioxin Nioxin as a #Lykoinflutester for a few weeks now! This time Night Density Rescue Serum 🩵 I have typically Scandinavian hair, fine and thin. Since I highlight/bleach my hair at regular intervals, my hair is quite dry while my scalp can often feel oily. The product is easy to apply with a pipette and feels lovely on the scalp. I have used this for a while before bedtime and have massaged it in with a scalp brush. 💁♀️ I feel that my hair feels fuller, and I also see quite a few small hairs that are holding on and growing out in the scalp. However, I can't see in length that it has grown particularly much, but I do notice a difference in the amount of hair I lose, especially in the shower! The only downside I can see with the product is that it is quite expensive and that my hair became quite oily from this. I had this often 1-2 days before washing my hair because otherwise I felt I needed to shower more often due to my hair looking oily. Nioxin night density rescue serum Also a product I got to test from lykoinflutester. This and the night serum are my top favorites! Incredibly good, you can feel a little in the scalp that it does something when you spray it! (you stand and hope for Rapunzel, we’ll probably be there soon) haha A little about my hair. Dyed / bleached (previously) Scandinavian Thin Damaged 3 pregnancies in a short time so 100% mom hair. You use this on dry or damp hair. About 15 pumps and then massage into the scalp. Smells a bit but I can’t put my finger on what it smells like, but nothing that bothers me! I experience the hair stronger and healthier. Not as much hair on the brush or strands that come off when you shower as it was after breastfeeding. Soothing and Refreshing
I have been trying this serum for a few weeks now, along with the kit of shampoo, conditioner, and spray, and one more serum. My hair is of typical Nordic fine quality, and I usually shed quite a bit, so I was excited to try it! After use, I absolutely feel that I shed quite a bit less, and my hair also feels very healthy and fresh. Now that I have used so many of the products, it’s uncertain if any of them help more than others, but together I would definitely say they have had an effect! The product comes in a bottle with a dropper, which makes it very easy to apply the product to the scalp. I prefer 2-4 droppers (not 2-4 drops as it says in the description here), because I think there is just a mistake in the translation from English. It’s not that easy to distribute 2-4 drops all over the scalp. Then I gently massage the product into the scalp. I have used this every evening, and I really like that routine. It smells very nice and fresh, and the scalp feels both fresh and soothed after use. Beginner friendly?
This comes with a dropper, easy to get the amount you need and distribute in the scalp. Massaged in, and does not make the hair greasy. The liquid is clear and thin. Quite lightweight, leaves a cooling effect that is supposed to help "wake" the blood circulation and stimulate hair growth. "Again in all Nioxin products comes the strong mint scent" It's too early to say if this works since I haven't used it long enough. But it's not so bad to have as part of the hair routine if you're just starting to introduce products for the scalp. I've been in the "thinning" game for a long time 🙈 and know my stuff and have done research on what works of active ingredients. Therefore, I miss documentation that the products contain such as Stemoxydine or Minoxidil Rogaine. These are number 1 against hair loss. It says that Nioxin contains Oxydine, but what is this? You who have followed my reviews for a while know what kind of hair journey I have been on and still am on 🙋🏽♀️ My hair is TYPICALLY Scandinavian, thin, dry, worn, and damaged but has gotten better (I hope) 🫣 I have been lucky enough to test this evening serum from NIOXIN for a little while now. I have implemented this as a step in my evening routine. I have used this serum both on wet and dry hair without any issues. Every single night I have used 4-6 drops that I have massaged in. Since I have some spots with little hair growth, I have taken before and after pictures to see if there has been a change.
