Results right away!
I have only tested this once and was surprised that I still got results so quickly. You can see the results in the before and after picture, it's about 4 hours later. Soooo fun to test a tanning product! 😃 I’m a diligent user of tanning on my face. A little less diligent (even though it happens) with using tanning on my body. But for my face, I’ve tested quite a few different ones. So Rebecca Stella is launching her tanning in a spray bottle. This is actually new for me, even though I’ve used Tanrevel before. I preferred tanning drops (which are mixed into the face cream) before I tried this spray. And I still prefer tanning drops. Plus: the spray has a wide and finely distributed spray, which hits the skin and gives an even result. You get a lot of product for the money (a whole 100 ml!). The tanning: is vegan! 🌱 The tanning has a nice coconut scent. Minus: Since it’s a spray, you have to close your eyes. You can’t see where you’re spraying. If you, like me, shave off the fuzz on your face with an eyebrow razor (no, I’m not the only one who does that 😅), the tanning stings on the skin after shaving. Even if you close your eyes, the eyelashes get hit by the tanning, and it can later get into your eyes. It didn’t get super irritated for me, but it wasn’t nice either. I also don’t see a huge effect from the tanning either. 🤔🤷🏻♀️ I was on vacation in Cyprus two weeks ago. I don’t have an extremely dark tan. But I’m not pale either. So sure, there is a tan. But unfortunately, I don’t see a huge effect from the tanning on my skin (I’ve also tested it on my leg). So if you’re pale, you might notice the tanning more clearly. I like to take a cotton pad and distribute the tanning, and "press the tanning into the skin," because it takes a little, little while before it dries in. And I’m sometimes a bit stressed in the morning, and don’t feel like waiting. 😅 So unfortunately… I wasn’t super impressed with this tanning. I’ll probably use it up. A tan with the most gorgeous smell of coconut 🥥
I got to test these three products; Face Tan Mist, Coco Daze Tan Mousse and obviously the Bronze Buff'r Self Tan Mitt and all I can say is that I’m sold!! Let’s start with the mousse, since I usually hate using self tan on my body and that’s why I never really do it, but this mousse is so easy to apply with the mitt, and it leaves you with a natural result.. and the best part is that you smell like coconut after🥥😍 The face mist is definitely a new competitor to my old favourite, since the smell is so good and I love the fact that it’s gives you gradual tan and therefore you can use it basically everyday without worrying about weird tans lines etc. (Bear in mind that I’m a person who tans really easily and I don’t have a pale skin so spraying it everyday probably doesn’t show off as easily). The best part for me is the smell of the products, I love that you smell like coconut after and not the basic self tan smell that can be very unpleasant in many of the self tan products out there. I have now tested and evaluated Rebecca Stella's latest self-tanning products – and I really have just one thing to say: wow! The face tan mist is super lovely. It's easy to use and gives a nice, natural color. I was also really impressed when I read that it can be applied over makeup – so convenient! Very easy to use this and gives a nice color, plus the scent was so good and really feels like a summer scent. Will use this many times during spring and autumn. So good bus spray
Something I loved about this mist from Rebecca Stella Beauty was that it dried in so quickly! I always have problems with bus never drying in and having to walk around for hours for it to dry… But this one really dried in under 2 minutes, then I tested having it on overnight and it made a very big difference! ☀️ Another plus is the bottle, I liked the packaging!! The spray could have been a bit more “spread out” instead of directed, but you can probably just spray a little further away :) The result gave a sun-kissed shade more towards the warm side than the cool. The only negative was that after a few days it became cracked/spotted but that was kind of the last day because it went away the next day. I also have trouble exfoliating my face as I am very sensitive and have pd, so it probably could have been even more perfect after a little scrub before 🤩 Overall I thought it was very good as I value how quickly a bus dries in the most, if it takes too long I don’t use bus. Lovely scent and nice color!
The first thing I notice about this product is how beautiful the packaging is, very clean and luxurious!✨ I was very curious about the scent, as I usually don’t like "self-tanner smell" because I often find it a bit nauseating, but when I sprayed this, I was completely blown away by how GOOD it smelled! I could have this scent as a body mist!😍 As much as that’s a plus, it’s also a small minus in my eyes because I’m not very fond of perfumed products on the face since I can be a bit sensitive. I was also very curious about the spray and mist, and whether it would spray evenly. During application, I could feel some larger drops hitting along the way, and I was very curious if the color would lay evenly. It’s a gradual tan, so it’s also not easy to see if you’ve covered everything since you don’t get color immediately. When I woke up the next morning, I could clearly see that I was a few shades darker. At the same time, I had used the mousse from the same brand on my body, and could clearly see that it gave much more color, and there was a bigger difference since the face was quite a bit paler. I still felt the color was even, but it was a bit "underwhelming" when it didn’t reach the same shade as the rest of the body. Soft, natural result
I love self-tanner applied with a spray, it’s easy and convenient – while the result looks nice! This mist comes in a very handy bottle, dispensing a good amount of product when applied. I notice a mild self-tanner scent when I spray, but it fades quickly. It doesn’t fully absorb into the skin but stays as a thin, slightly sticky layer, which I’m not a big fan of.
