I bought this for points a few months ago, and have been using it since my Clean It Zero ran out. It’s not really fair to have to follow up Banila’s gold nugget, which was the best makeup remover I’ve ever used, but that’s how it is now, and I’ll try not to let it influence my opinion TOO much 😄 This Thicc N Jelly Cleansing Balm has a lovely name, I think, and it describes the product really well when I think about it! Because it’s really a thick, quite viscous cream that looks gel-like! It has a faint scent of something perfumed, floral-like - nice, but definitely not much. I don’t think scent-sensitive people would have any problem with this. The outside of the tube I think is a bit boring, but what does it matter when the product works as it should! Because I absolutely think it does. I read reviews that don’t think it dissolves makeup very well, and sure, it’s not Clean It Zero, but the makeup melts. I use it as step one in a double cleansing routine, take a good dollop and massage it in thoroughly all over my face. I think it dissolves both foundation and mascara, and when you then add water, it becomes milky and washes off nicely. I then go in with step two in the cleansing, so I can’t say how it feels to use just this, but I don’t experience any direct film or anything like that. I want to give it 5 stars, because I think it’s a well-functioning remover that’s actually quite nice now that I think about it. Practical with the tube format too, because it’s always tricky to get the lid back on after you’ve taken product out of cleansing balms in jars 😂 As I mentioned at the beginning, I might not feel that it measures up to my favorite remover, but it does what it’s supposed to do with flying colors 🤩 #lykoreview #rebeccastella21 likes2293 viewsJohanna Sabine Emma Viktoria Jana

I was recommended this by a skincare therapist in the Lyko store when I wanted something that would kind of melt away the makeup. I use this as the first step in double cleansing along with Lyko's own cleanser and think it works great. I haven't tried any similar product before, so I can't unfortunately compare, but it really melts away all the makeup super well and leaves me hydrated afterwards even though I'm a real dry skin type!51 viewsMyer_01
2 monthsverified customerGreat for double cleansing & removing waterproof make-up
Yet rarely on full on make-up. I use a lot of waterproof eye liner and mascara daily, and this product works, great melting away my waterproof make up without drying my skin. Feels like butter but not oily at all & with this wash, my skin does not dry at all. Very similar to Banila Original Clean It Zero but pricier. I am happy with this locally made product, it is vegan and odourless and equally as great as Banila.7 likes2912 viewsJohanna Sabine Emma Viktoria Jana
2 monthsI'm using it right now too, I think it's totally okay but it doesn't beat Banila! But it works 🤩
