ARE YOU KIDDING?
For over seven (SEVEN!) years, I have been married to Body Shop's Chamomile Cleansing Butter. I've sung its praises to the skies. Sworn that it is the best thing to happen to humanity since sliced bread. Recruited other acne-prone dry folks with sensitive eyes into the cult. Sure, I've flirted with a few other balms. Clinique, SkinCity’s own, Inkey List, Emma S, and Ordinary, for example. But I've always given them away to (un)lucky unknowing folks who haven't used Body Shop's, and thus haven't had reasonable reference points. UNTIL NOW. JESUS AMALIA, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? This one has everything I want! Actually more! And better! A solid consistency that melts into velvety butter on the face. It completely ERADICATES waterproof mascara the second it touches the lashes (didn't even need to massage in and wait?! We're talking about Sky High here!). Hygienic jar with a cute little spoon. Doesn't sting the eyes, and leaves no residue. The list can go on even longer. So… Do you need a new cleanser? Don’t walk. Run. I have combination, sensitive, and acne-prone skin that is drier in the winter. The consistency is quite firm, but easy to work into the skin as it then becomes like an oil. I don’t know how well it removes makeup since I rarely use it. Convenient with a spatula that comes with it, but I wish you could store it in the lid. This doesn’t dry out the skin, but I do get pimples/bumps from it. I’ve tried using it several times to test, but every time my skin breaks out. I have tried the Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm and this is a cleansing balm that has quickly become a favorite in my evening routine. It melts from balm to oil on the skin and effectively dissolves makeup, SPF, and dirt without leaving the skin feeling tight afterwards. The product contains, among other things, rice water and rice bran oil which help the skin feel soft and hydrated after cleansing. Many appreciate it because it cleans thoroughly without leaving a greasy residue, and I understand why. Gets the job done
#lykoreview This is the second tub I am using of this product. I have sensitive, acne-prone combination skin and this doesn’t break me out and gets the job done of removing my light daily makeup (as well as mascara). It is easy to lather, easy to apply and wash off. I am not amazed, but I am also not disappointed. Was extremely poorly packaged, but okay product
Worked well but had a weird packaging. You had to first open the lid to get the *spoon used to scoop out the product* to also close the lid. Then you had to screw it off again. It was unnecessary, and I think they should change the packaging. I could have bought it again because of the product, but the packaging ruined it for me. Found my new holy grail!
For many many years I swore by Clinique's cleansing balm. After trying this cleansing balm, I fell in love! The consistency is similar to Clinique's and melts on the skin in the same way. The difference is this cleansing balm cleans sooooo much better and is moisturizing.. You don't have to rub or apply so hard either.. When I use peeling toner pads afterwards, I was surprised at how clean and makeup-free it became with just one toner pad. This is also so much better than Banilas, which I've tried almost all colors of. My combination skin loves this clearing balm. Best cleanser
This cleansing balm from Beauty of Joseon is wonderful for washing the face. Probably the best facial cleanser I have ever tried. Suitable for sensitive and dry skin, which becomes stronger and better from using this. Does not dry out the skin but leaves it slightly moist. However, not good for removing makeup for me, I get irritated in the eyes from the oil that remains in the eyes. Ingredients
A balm-type cleansing oil that gently melts eye, lip, base makeup and sebum. It contains rice bran and various grain extracts, so the skin does not get dry and remains moist.

Use:
