First impression: The jar is so clean that you almost want to put it on a pedestal and just say “This? Oh, it’s handmade by angels and fermented rice water.” The consistency? Like whipped cream mixed with silk and a promise of eternal youth. The scent? Mild, elegant, and expensive enough to trick your skin into thinking you have a whole skincare team employed. And the result? Swelling and Rash
I tested the product on my hand first and had no reactions. The hand became super soft and shiny. I carefully checked what not to use with the cream so I wouldn't have any chemical reactions, I do this every time I test new products. I applied the cream to my face in the evening and in the morning it looked super good. So I did the same thing last night and today I woke up with severe rashes and swelling under my eyes. It burns, stings, itches, and hurts a lot. I eventually had to leave work because I couldn't focus due to the discomfort and pain in my face. It seems that most people get good results and like the product, so don't be scared to try it, but a warning for those with sensitive skin to be careful. Also, those who are prone to eczema, dermatitis, and rosacea should be extra cautious. I think it might be due to the niacinamide that I reacted to like this. Sad, because I use products from the same brand that work super well.

  Sorry to hear that you experienced something uncomfortable. Worth noting that Korean products are actually made for Asian skin, and can also have an effect on Western skin.

Really pleasant texture. Spreads and absorbs easily, doesn't leave the skin sticky and moisturizes well. Plus for being fragrance-free: the product really doesn't smell like anything! (Some fragrance-free products can sometimes have a sharp or musty undertone). I will buy again.

Disappointed
Bought the whole series after a skincare test via Lyko, where this was recommended as a day/night cream. Unfortunately, I think it lays like a film over, doesn't sink in at all, just becomes a layer that makes me super shiny. Doesn't work at all with makeup as everything lays like a film over my face. So I am very disappointed unfortunately...

The cream contains several ingredients that form a protective barrier to lock in moisture — maybe that’s the reason it doesn’t fully absorb. It’s a rich cream, and if you haven’t tried it already, it might help to use a little less or wait a bit longer if you’ve used something before the cream, like a serum for example. Best Night Cream
This is one of the best skin creams for my skin that easily gets acne around the chin. This cream is moisturizing without being greasy. I get much less acne but my skin is soft and hydrated, I mainly use it as a night cream but it also works well under makeup.

Feels light on, which is good… But, I think it doesn't do much for me and doesn't provide enough moisture even though I use toner, serum, and eye cream.
