A glowing serum for a fresh look
A serum with a cocktail of moisturizing ingredients that is supposed to give a glowing finish. Pump bottle which is totally right as the serum itself has a thicker consistency. The finish is definitely glowing. It moisturizes well and I think it suits my dry skin nicely. It will be a bit too rich for oilier skin types though. A good day serum as part of the morning routine. It works well with other skincare, doesn’t roll, and sits nicely under makeup, giving a fresh look. Doesn't quite make it all the way
First and foremost, I want to say: so incredibly fun that LYKO has been able to get Fenty into their assortment! 🥳 And that we got the opportunity to test it. ☺️🥰 To describe my skin, and skin condition: 46 years old, normal to dry skin, that needs moisturizing products. I have some signs of aging/wrinkles. I've had a bit of a tough time lately, which has taken a toll on me. Poor sleep and a lot of stress. To describe the appearance and packaging, the serum is in a nice and handy pump bottle. I also appreciate that it is made of plastic. There is a lot of talk about reducing the use of plastic. But as long as it is recycled, I think plastic is not worse than if it had been a glass bottle. So the packaging is easy to handle during use, as it is not heavy. Handy pump for dosing. The scent is lovely! ☺️ I assume it is melon-scented, since the serum contains fruit juice from Kalahari melon. I associated the scent with peach. The scent strength is medium, so I think even scent-sensitive people wouldn't have a problem with the scent. The consistency of the serum is like a gel. A bit sticky. 😅 But despite its stickiness, I still feel that the serum is absorbed by the skin. I don't have sensitive skin and tolerate most things. But I would say that I find the serum to be mild, and it could also suit people with sensitive skin. After about 10 days of use, my impression is that the serum doesn't quite make it all the way when it comes to moisturizing and plumping my skin. But I've also had a lot of stress, so that could absolutely have a big impact. Maybe I will see a more noticeable result after longer use. Lovely serum!
I have had the honor of testing this fantastic serum! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #FENTYBEAUTY #FENTYSKIN My skin: combination skin, is slightly red on the cheeks and nose (but not sensitive) and has pores around the nose area. I have used the serum for about 1 week and already at the first use I really liked the product. The bottle is simple and nothing special, I like that it is a pump which makes it easy for me to control the amount of product! 🙌🏼 The serum is supposed to plump, hydrate, and strengthen the skin barrier. It should work both during the day and in the evening routine. 💜 I have tried using the serum under makeup, which works super well. It provides both moisture, glow, and works well as a primer 💜 To know if the skin's barrier is strengthened, I need to test the product for a longer time! 💜 The serum gives a nice and natural glow, I have also used the serum during the day without makeup, which works great for a fresh look without makeup 💜 I appreciate the consistency of the serum, it is a bit sticky and absorbs quickly! In summary, I really like the serum a lot, it is based on the consistency, durability, and how much moisture the serum provides. I feel hydrated all day thanks to the serum, the makeup holds up super well, and I like that it is a bit sticky (which also helps the makeup stay in place all day).
