Apply to the entire scalp, let it sit after a light massage for 10-15 minutes, and double cleanse with shampoo. For armpits and groin 2 times a week after showering; Removes bacteria that cause sweat odor. As needed every couple of weeks as a gentle scrub for the face like a toner; Helps especially with oily skin and small breakouts. After shaving (not on the same day, otherwise it stings); Removes and prevents ingrown hairs. Treatment for keratosis pilaris on the forearms; Apply to the skin of the forearms 1-2 times a week after showering, wait 15 minutes, and apply cream or oil on top. Foot scrub; 2-3 times a week after showering, apply to the soles of the feet. Let it sit for 15 minutes and apply foot cream and put on socks.1 product in post The most important product in the bathroom cabinet29367 views- The comment was made 1 yearsNice to hear that the review was helpful! I always apply it to my skin through my hands, so I take about a tablespoon of toner in my hand and then just slather it on my forearms. It's good to let it dry and work for a moment before applying oil, and it shouldn't be washed off. As body oil, I use Weleda's rose oil, but any oil or cream works! For the groin area, I do the same, using a slightly smaller amount (teaspoon) on my hands and just applying it to the edge of my underwear. I don't use any other deodorants. This has especially been a convenient way to stay fresh during the summer. Let's really hope this product is never discontinued. 😆11 likes

Both are sold as two different product by Ordinary brand. See the pictures attached. Misleading information shown by Lyko1 product in post Hello,8258 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. - The post was made 2 weeksRating: 4 out of 5verified customerMulti-purpose product!Does what it promises and a generous bottle! I use it for keratosis pilaris on my upper arms and back where I occasionally get pimples, this has kept them away really well! It also works on rough heels and as a scalp exfoliator👌 The only downside is the bottle cap, I think another mechanism would be a better option. #lykoreview1 product in post Multi-purpose product!989 views
- The post was made 3 weeksWhere in the routine should it go?Hi! In the evening I first use lyko.com/sv/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-mandelic-acid And then: lyko.com/sv/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-niacinamide-10--zinc-1 And lastly moisturizing oil. When in the routine should I use Glycolic? Thanks in advance!1 product in post Where in the routine should it go?952 views- The comment was made 2 weeksHi, and thanks for the reply! I did that test, it was really good! Now I'm mostly wondering how Glycolic works with other acids. Should I, for example, skip Mandelic on the nights I use Glycolic?

- The post was made 1 monthdark elbowscan I use this for dark elbows? I have very dark elbows.1 product in post dark elbows2475 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHey Lana😊 Thanks for your question ✨ Yes, you can use The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution on dark elbows, and it can help to lighten the area over time. Glycolic acid exfoliates the skin and removes dead skin cells, which is often a cause of darker areas on, for example, elbows. 🔸 The Ordinary itself mentions that the product can help with uneven skin tone, and it is often used on the body – not just on the face. 🔸 Keep in mind that the skin on elbows can be thicker and a bit more sensitive to acid, so start carefully (e.g. 1-2 times/week). 🔸 Always apply a moisturizing cream afterward. 🔸 If the elbows are exposed to the sun, use SPF – acid makes the skin more sun-sensitive. Here is also a cream that is tailored and specially developed for these areas and might be worth trying: lyko.com/sv/novaclear/novaclear-whitening-elbow---knee-cream-50-ml I hope my answer can be helpful and that you have a lovely day🌞2 likes

- The post was made 1 monthHiI wonder how I can use it on my face? Is it okay to use vitamin C or retinol after this product? Thanks for the answer2117 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHey 🌸 Thanks for your question! ✨ The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is an exfoliating facial product that is used in the evening. Apply it to a cotton pad and swipe over a clean and dry face, avoiding the eye area. Start gently, a few times a week, and gradually increase if your skin feels okay. When it comes to combining: We do not recommend using it directly together with Vitamin C or Retinol, as it can be too strong for the skin and cause irritation. If you want to use both types of products, you can alternate between evenings – e.g. exfoliating toner one evening and retinol/vitamin C another. Don't forget to always use sunscreen during the day when using acids, as the skin becomes more sensitive to the sun. ☀️💖 Take care!2 likes

The OrdinaryGlycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner 100 ml
Select size
100 ml240 mlGlycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner (previously Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution) is an exfoliator that significantly smoothes skin texture and promotes the appearance of a more even skin tone, as well as more luminous skin, with regular use. It also reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The water-based toner format is suited to daily use.

It contains a 7% concentration of Glycolic acid - a well-studied alpha-hydroxy acid - and a plant-derived Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative, which varies in colour seasonally, and which may cause an apparent colour variation in the formula from time to time.

This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to the additional sun protection notes and other warnings in the provided directions.

This pH of this formula is approximately 3.6. Glycolic Acid has a pKa of 3.6 and pKa is the most important aspect to consider in formulating with acids. pKa describes the acidity of a molecule. When pKa is close to pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acidity, maximizing effectiveness of the acid and reducing irritation.
Use:
Face/Neck Application: Apply once daily, ideally in the evening. Apply to the face and neck using a cotton pad or fingers.
Scalp Application: Apply to dry scalp, three times a week. Tilt your head back and use the nozzle to gently dispense product from the front to the back of the head in a sweeping motion. Massage well.
Do not rinse off. Do not use on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes.
Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration.
If eye or skin irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly, cease use, and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Keep out of reach of children.
Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
